None of these bother me (I'm too old to care what some stranger on the internet thinks of me), but "nerd" is pretty funny to me, because, uh...you're playing the game, too. NERD!

Fake_Mystic.png

The "umadbro" slanter is annoying. Not so much for me, but I know of other people just trying to make a more serious convo (for once) or have some problems irl. Then these morons start the "umadbro" stuff. I've often seen people get tipped off the edge, cause they could do without the slanter. No need to start it when a person is just trying to ask advice.

Worst thing is that the people using it actually think they're awesome... you're not awesome -.-, you're just using an idiotic slang phrase, cause you're not intellectual enough to identify a situation or place yourself in the position of whom you're using it against.

Using it against people taking RS too serious or getting heated over the smallest details, I don't mind it being used against.

As for the other three, meh outdated and mainly used in an attempt to insult people, don't work on me. It's just the "umadbro" one, cause it isn't necessarily meant to insult with, just a dumb method for people to try and act smart. It's like the "boy who cried wolf". Keep using it to step on people's toes, but if you ever get stuck in a real world situation where you're desperate for help, don't expect sympathy from the people you've annoyed and neglected.

Little words for equally little people. I just laugh when people call me names on RuneScape.

Lol...everyone used to call me a noob due to my high atk stat (see magermanmye on rs highscores for details). Didn't bother me too much though, especially when I found out how useful it'd be toward questing/slayer....that and how it enabled me to weild dragon weopens at 54combat...

I call everyone a kid because to me they are just kids ya

I add annoying people to the ignore list almost instantly. Considering I'm not any of the words listed there, I don't really take those words seriously.

Me too, they're called pmods

Kid annoys me, but it's mainly because I know I'm a lot older than anyone who actually think Kid is a good insult.

Used to, but they don't bother me anymore unless I'm already in a horrible mood because I've had one of those days. :P My friends and I call each other noob/nerd jokingly, though.

I especially agree with the "kid" thing that guy posted. Generally those calling you "kid" are kids themselves.

Lol. I remember one calling me a kid for refusing to key in dungeon and then like 5 minute later, we start talking about age and

then he says that he's 12 years old. Couldn't stop laughing.

When someone calls me "kid," I call them "father"

Lol at both of these.

If I was called kid, and then called the other dude father, I'd totally start on some random Star Wars thing.

"Ok Father."

"Wait, what? Your my my father? *searches feelings*"

"What!? I know it to be true! Nooooooooooooooooooo!"

"*jumps off a bridge like thing through a void like thingy onto a spaceship*"

" Noob"

How could that offend me?

" Kid"

Being an adult, I know when I hear this that it's coming from someone who's not. It's that ever so common misconception that teenagers have that all adults speak to people younger than them in a condescending manner. It's either an attempt to make them seem older (and by hearing this I automatically know they're NOT), or to simply aggrivate me (which it doesn't). So: Fail X 2

" Nerd"

As I am a nerd, I find this less offensive than being called a human being. Human beings as a whole are a disgusting and selfish lot. When someone calls me a nerd, I take that to mean that they're acknowledging that I'm smarter than they are. And if they have to resort to name calling, it's probably true anyways.

Do you know what the cool kids call nerds when they grow up?

Boss.

noob: yes i am a noob, so are you. everyone is a noob in one way or another.

kid (my vote): for someone to say this to me is only anoying becouse its not an insult. if your going to ofend me, do it right.

nerd:

this is what i would say.

im just happy with the fact that i am superior to anyone who has to thorw garbage at me for any efect... and still fails.

:)

although... there are 2 things that annoy me...

"g@y"

and

"bad spelling"

its not that i have anything againt same gender atraction (even have a few good friends like that) but why do people use it to insult me? the only thing that i hate about that is when people use it to insult people... its not an insult!

as for my horrible spelling, sorry, that does not mean im some 10 year old, or that i am "mentaly delayed", its just means i have bad spelling. i cant help it, its the same as trying to change your self so you walk backwars everywhere. no real need and very hard.

Um, yes, there IS a need to learn to spell good. To a certain extent. And Yes I'm aware that I probably made a grammatical error there.

That being said, there's bad spelling and there's.....leetpseak, I guess. I can't really define what the "bad spelling that needs to be fixed is," but I'd consider you past that mark.

"Dude" is the most annoying thing to me. I always have to repeat I'm not a dude, as can be clearly seen from my character model.

Two things: One, as the poster below you pointed out, dude is fairly universal. I've met some people who've admitted to calling their mom dude, and I don't find that odd.

Two: I just found out your a girl.

 bump

Edit: I've been called a "Facepalm noob" today, whatever that means. lol :shades:

WHAT!@?!? Lol. Actually.

Most epic way to beat a faceplam-er: ninja skills. As they move hand towards face, or vice-versa, smack their hand towards face.

Lol...everyone used to call me a noob due to my high atk stat (see magermanmye on rs highscores for details). Didn't bother me too much though, especially when I found out how useful it'd be toward questing/slayer....that and how it enabled me to weild dragon weopens at 54combat...

Noob. Get the str level to LIFT those dragon weapons kid. umadbro nerd?

Gosh, I can really sympathize with all those people using those insults. It's mildly entertaining.

P.S. Just so no one gets confused, I AM trying to use all those remarks sarcastically.

Random thought: Guy calls you kid.

"Yeah, I'm 13."

"OMG! STALKER! *reported for asking personal details*"

>_>

And finally....

N00bish nerdy kids here. Wat, taht make uguysmadbro?

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.

Nerd doesn't wind me up. Nerd and proud.

Noob is fairly meaningless and doesn't really wind me up.

Kid sometimes does wind me up a little. (I'm probably not as thick skinned as I should be) Chances are I'm older than them.

It's mostly annoying when used in an attempt to try and add gravitas to their point of view by making out that they're somewhat older and wiser than people who have the opposite point of view -

can backfire on them as the main thing it does is make me want to politely point out every stupidity in whatever point they're trying to make. (after which I feel much better)

Used to, but they don't bother me anymore unless I'm already in a horrible mood because I've had one of those days. :P My friends and I call each other noob/nerd jokingly, though.

Lol. I remember one calling me a kid for refusing to key in dungeon and then like 5 minute later, we start talking about age and

it amazes me that that runescape has been out 10 years yet some people do not know how to use the ignore list.

Noob? Been playing longer than most Scapers.

Kid? Funny when someone younger than me called me a kid.

Nerd? I don't play 24/7. Not a nerd in real life.

U mad bro/Mad bro? That's a little annoying and funny at the same time.

this is honestly the most truthful 3 paragraphs i have read in the past few weeks.

I'm in the same boat with regards to the irl 'trollings' and am honestly sick of it. It's literally at the point where whole groups of people say it to someone who shows the slightest signs of potentially being 'uptight' about something.

Like, really? you really have nothing better to do even in real life than to pester and harass someone to the point where they don't know what to do anymore?

'umadbrah, umad, mad, madbro' GRRRRRR they just irritate me to no end.

the other three are pointless whiny little kids 'im jealous of you' slander.
