Hm I wouldnt like that some masters would be moved for example the fishing master from the fishing guild, maybe they can make that the masters of f2p-skills which are in members world, they have an apprentice in the f2p worlds, for example the fishing apprentice would be at the river in barbarian village, the magic apprentice maybe somewhere in varrock palace (the grey guy?) the ranging apprentice in the back of the varrock arrow store...

What I had meant was that the capes would be "fully F2P" as he put it. Not necessarily that the skill masters would be moved. And yeah that would work Constanti, there is many ways to make it work really.

What if there was a portal that took you to the skill master to buy the cape. In F2P worlds you would not be able to leave the area or interact with anything besides the skill master. Thoughts?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not to flame, but for crying out loud, just pay the lousy $5 a month. I don't get how ANY F2P player thinks they have the right to demand things, and complain that P2P get all the good updates. Of course we do, we pay for the priviledge! It's like hanging about outside of a cinema, complaining that all thje paying customers get to see the movie, when all you have to look at is the poster.

 

 

 

Maybe I'm completely offbase here, but for a game that doesn't cost them anything to play, F2P make out pretty well. Go find another good MMPORG that offers what RS has and doesn't charge you a dime.

Considering the fact that you quoted me, i'm going to have to assume that your comments were directed at me. First of all I have never "demanded" a single thing as you have stated. I have merely suggested an additions that would be very much appreciated by non-members.

Yes to:

 

 

 

Snare- Bind is pathetic, you get one attack off before they run. Plus it will help f2p wars. So not only for f2pers but for every clan out there.

 

 

 

Games Room- empty and useless in members world. F2p might like it and stop complaining about not getting updates. Downside.. f2p can just keep making accounts to help others gain points. 1) Either no points or 2) After getting x amount of quest points.

 

 

 

Few more quests- I'd like to see a couple of new quests for them. Just 2 or 3 quests.. Not many, just something the higher level f2pers would enjoy doing.

 

 

 

Attack Potions- Useful for them to train with. Members can sell there useles attack pots onto them instead of emptying them. Once again it would change f2p wars and pking.

 

 

 

New mage robes- The mage robes atm are just pathetic. Like a +8 mage bonus with the hat and robe. Meleers can rip through that before they get a chance to bind. Also training is hard when you can't hit.

 

 

 

Dango should hold random event items- This instead of more bank space. This is for members too.

More bank space- no you don't need it. I still have 15 spaces of bank space with a lot of things I can still drop if I need too. You have to keep whats useful and whats not.

 

 

 

Mini Game- It will be the only thing people would do. People wouldn't get bored and buy membership. Maybe something you could complete once and never do it again.

 

 

 

Boss monsters- It would be fun to do but the reward might change f2p all around. If it's some weapond that would overcome the Rune Scimitar than rune weponds would drop completely. Same with other items.

Skill Capes- This one is ify, the skill cape idea would be wonderful for f2p because getting 99 in a skill takes 10 times as long than a p2per. But the combat bonus' is where no starts to come in. The bonus' will leave many pures/other players to get a cooking cape as quickly as possible for the bonus to pk with.

 

 

 

Maple trees- Yes to the honest working players. No to the autoers that would abuse this area. F2p are already aloud to chop and burn them. They should have tree to help this.

 

 

 

Taveraly- Nothing past the end of white wolf mountain and past the witches house. Yes because F2p is completely packed and need space to move around and things to kill. Plus an access to a mine, white wolf mountain, 2her shop (f2p really needs this), and a vial/eye of newt shop. Also they could witches house quest to f2p since it's somewhat a beginner quest and they just made a sequal. That's about all there is in taveraly that f2p could use. No because Taveraly has been members since the beginning.

One thing i would like to see (and it's only small) are unicorn horn drops from unicorns in F2P, although yes it's a small money maker for F2P the main thing i think would to make a members benifit.

 

 

 

Unicorns horns are quite a hard resourse to harvest and i think F2P could really help adress the issue.

I, as a F2P, actally see that as a good idea. There's enough room for another ad right below the game screen. That will pretty much increase the amount of money F2P generates by about 50-100%. If you don't think we pay enough, make us pay more through ads! I am just fine with having an extra ad or two below the game screen. It just involves more scrolling which doesn't affect anyone at all.

I have been playing since before they added that extra line of bankspace for Free to Play. But generally I agree with the bank statement as I am sure even Pay to Play has bank issues.

While I somewhat agree with you, Jagex had a good reason for making the polls members only. If left open for everyone to participate, especially with polls that actually effect the game, some people would create multiple accounts just to vote for their choices multiple times.

 

 

 

Fortunately, since this update would effect f2p and p2p pretty much equally, I can't see f2p feeling that differently about it, so p2p only should be a pretty decent sample. I know it still sucks to not be able to voice your opinions though.

I thought of it for a second, but they can block IP's from voting more than once. I think Jagex has much more cash to invest into that than Tip.It, yet for our polls, it works perfectly.

The F2P crossbows will always be unattractive, they shoot bronze bolts and have the stats you'd get by wielding a cake.

We don't even have bronze crossbows. Perhaps they should give F2P some of the newbie crossbows.

 

 

 

I was also thinking today about yew bows, to make it so that they will not be alched I think it might be a good idea to give F2P yew composite bows. Not the normal yew bows of course but just the composite. Members would be able to sell them for a decent price i'm sure if this were to happen. Besides, with all the range options available to members I don't think most have a use for this lv40 bow.

Hmm... No. There's already enough in F2P to convince people to join P2P. If people aren't going to join P2P after finishing everything in the free worlds, they will probably never join.

I think F2p should be limited to 5 months game time, you can only get all your stats to 80, the wilderness is shorter, you can only explore lumbridge, you can only eat cabbage, and you can't look at any game maps.

 

 

 

Oh and your only item is a new weapon, a rubber square dagger. It's stats are the amazing -1,465 in everything. You can mine and cut trees with it.

I think F2p is fine how it is... Why limit it so much? It's FREE to PLAY. PAY to PLAY is for people who spend 5 or more dollars a month. and if they don't log on in 6 months when there account is deleated, the 5 dollars is still taken out, until you cancle it.
