Fisting your opponent is better than whipping them, also, you get to stake higher if you do so

I lol'ed irl.

Anyway, forget the rapier and whip. sara sword on crush has been proven to have the highest dps in staking.

Ignore all the trolls, BGS > all.

obviously the whip

chaotics have no specs so they are 100% worthless in staking

the whip does have a spec tho making it awsome

lowereing your opponents run energy by 20% makes it 25% less likely that they will run away with all the money and give you none if they loose

Hmm?

Ofc the rapier is better. Look at the stats. But you know, 80+ dung for that...Ahh: My Dungeneering level is 41.

Rapier.. easily.

Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.

All these guys are wrong. Use a bronze dagger.

That's common sense. It's implied that "best weapon" is actually "best weapon after DA BRONZE DAGGER" unless otherwise stated.

Bronze Dagger it up tbh.

Oh someone said it before me. Sling it up then.

Does this thread even have any discussion value?

I doubt it. This is a far cry from Rapier vs CLS.

I'm just curious about one thing. Say, for someone who doesn't really like to DG (such as myself, mainly because I haven't bothered learning strategies), would it be a mistake to stick with the whip, and NOT obtain a CLS?

I'm just curious, because I'd much prefer to stick to a whip if Chaotics aren't all that much better.

EDIT: Bah, I sound like a broken record in my second paragraph -.-

Your question needs to be a bit more precise. If you care about gp/hr, it will be a mistake. If you don't really care about killing efficiency and enjoy killing slowly with a whip, feel free to do so.

Sorry, I'll be more precise. Once I get back into Runescape, I pretty much only plan on doing slayer...so, is it worth it to spend god knows how many hours soloing DG to get a CLS?

I don't group up because:

1.) I haven't learned the tricks of the trade

2.) I don't feel like being harassed for not doing things right by randoms(No patience for a newb)

Well... If you're going to spend a lot of time slaying, a chaotic will save you a LOT of time. I recommend you get it even if you have to solo DG your way to it.

And as an added tip, a rapier would be better than a CLS. There was a massive thread on this a few pages back.

There always seems to be that debate when I poke my head into General Discussion. So I am just going to research which has the best spread of dps for all attack styles as I will be training all three melee during slayer.

I thank you for your advice though. I guess I have a few months of boredom ahead of me. lol

Don't try and turn this topic into a legitimate argument about cr vs cls we already have a thread about it... Just let this troll thread die already

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod!
