can someone give me tips on how to use my rapier?

Step 2: Poke a mon(ster)

Step 3: ????

No, really, what do you mean? I always use mine on Aggressive because I am a strength noob (40m+ exp wat?), but other than that, is there a wrong way to use it? Outside of daemonheim, attack style makes very little difference, with a few exceptions. Skeletal Wyverns are strongest against stab, so you want to slash or crush them (Maul). Waterfiends are weak to crush and strong against everything else. Other than that, just stab everything.

 

The only situation I would advise against a rapier is when fighting in multi-areas with more than two monsters consistently attacking you. You'll easily kill ~7% on it with a Lighthouse Dag task, and even more if you do a CT dag task with it.

Go for anything low-defense first. Use slash with the rapier against zombies, and otherwise stab hellhounds, bats, dragons (rapier is the MOST effective way to kill dragons), brutes, forgotten mages, and I am not totally sure about ghosts. From what I've been told, anything the Hex bow is used against is also weak to the P rapier, if that helps. Just don't use the rapier on bosses :P Except for Shadowforger, which it absolutely rapes, other bosses have way too much defense for the rapier to be viable, even with rager scrolls.

Look @ my minimap, wtf

I was in rape room when map ended, died during end fl interface screen and my minimap appeared at base. I could walk around using it, couldn't do anything else ofc lol.

Next fl started after 30 seconds as usual.

 

Also this floor pissed me off a LOT. >_>

Which was why I was killing myself during the 1 minute of me having to end. Though I had hit 15 deaths at like, 20 mins in.

No, that's not what I meant. At 50 minutes I would probably start randomly screwing around, too. I meant that Tui is one of the fastest keyers in DGS, even with a less-than-perfect team, so that team must've really dragged their feet to give her a 50 minute floor.

you need an altar so much when theres 1 room left that will denk and boss is dead

Hate when people just ask for an altar, tank the boss or take a death you could of done 2 floors in that time (90% in 25min or 100% in 51min?)

Wow. Yeah, 51 minutes is like MY average floor when I key in DGS. Which has happened at most TWICE. (Me keying that in DGS that is.) A time like that either means the keyer sucks or the team REALLY sucks. I mean, I'm far from the best DG'er, but wow...

Um, why DON'T they just have a most damage title? For whoever dealt the most damage? Much simpler then worrying about getting Berserker and battlemage/ranger one.

I wish the total damage dealt by each player was displayed, like "Obtaurian dealt 22,356 damage this floor."

Also, didn't realize Tui was a her. Especially considering how often she gets two most damage titles.

I kinda like the titles though, some of them are funny, and 'most damage' just seems boring. I'm glad that all 3 combat styles are used and it gives some competition between people in floors, it encourages people ^^

They should display it below the death counter, in the upper-left hand corner during a dungeon. That would be awesome.
