Best quest ever.

 

The cutscenes were amazing, far surpasses anything they've done prior to this quest. So it wasn't that long, who honestly cares? The story was superb and pretty much everything was answered. People need to stop getting their expectations so high and expect every quest to be WGS length.

No fight against Lucien = crappy, disappointing quest.

This was supposed to be a sequel to WGS, shouldn't it have been more difficult, not to mention follow in the vein of WGS?

Can't complain though, probably the best they could do without Tytn.

Anyone have info about the stats of the Armadyl Battlestaff (or the spell?)?

Clearly I should listen to the word of someone who hasn't even done the quest and fervently moans and [bleep]es about everything Jagex does. Get back under your bridge.

The quest was harder than WGS imo, Both the Balance elemental and the quest specific Td's were a million times easier than the last couple of fights in RotM. Yes Rotm was much shorter than WGS but length doesn't = difficulty as shown by Nomad. I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince people that this quest was amazing because in the end its all opinion. But in the end, it all comes down to overblown expectations.

I'm guessing not much.

Them galcors r a sob to kill.

 

You need armadyl shards from them to grind into runs to cast or to gather to make stave.

Guessing most killers are going for stave.

[hide]In all stages of lucien fight he periodically fires a skull attack at you. You can run to avoid this as it hits ground. Where it hits you fget a bit shadow funnel that hits hard. Essentially move when skull fires and u dodge it entirely[/hide]

Glacors are easy, I can confirm they drop effigies if anyone was wondering. Not that it's a surprise.

[spoiler=The new spell and concerns...]100 shards for an 18m staff? Either the spell is going to cost an insane amount of money per cast or that staff will end up being obscenely cheap.

When he's stuck, just keep mage prayer on and continue attacking Khazard - you won't even take damage.[/hide]

Chaotic Maul, Extreme Set, Dhide and protect from melee seems to work well for me against the Glacors.

 

When it spawns the 3 sidekicks, I kill the unstable 1 first, then sap one and finally the enduring one, I think moving further away from the Glacor and getting the enduring one to follow weakens it's defences allowing you to kill it quickly. Whilst your away, slap on protect from range. Then rush back asap to finish off the Glacor.

 

They are quite easy, shame their loot is crap. And shame my internet connection decided to die on me, was nearly dead when I logged back in :(

I'm killing them quicker than the mage next to me with CMaul, Bandos, Ovls etc.

Oh, was there any new news on the return of Zaros?

Part 1 that is 9 minutes is 80% encoded, then it has to be uploaded the raw file will be over 1gb even compressed so could take an hour or two to even upload ;) I'll encode the second whilst that uploads which wont take as long as its only 6 minutes.. just the cutscenes themselves not the fights from quests :P

 

(which ironically just closed itself so part 1 has to start all over again eek)

 

edit 2- it just closed after 7 mins 30 so i'll start to upload this first part now ;)

 

P1 is upload P2 encoding so 80 minutes for first, other part in around 160 minutes, yawn!

I've seen him hit 40s on the second 'form'. Mage isn't useless though I'll give you that but I'm sticking with this being faster :P I may experiment though haha.

New Barrows has a prayer requirement (70).

I can't do the quest cause my membership ran out but is there any mention of Zaros in this quest?
