Ambler
Ariane Quest Double Bill We're proud to present two fully voice-acted quests featuring the adventuring enchantress Ariane: one for free players and members, replacing the old Rune Mysteries quest, and an all-new quest for members. If you like your quests full of magic and discovery, and your heroines as erudite as they are headstrong, read on. Rune Mysteries (free to play) Ariane's had premonitions ever since she was a child, but lately her visions have shown her just one thing: the Wizards' Tower - her former home and place of study - in flames. Sure enough, there are already magical creatures manifesting and attacking the wizards, and Ariane's convinced that Archmage Sedridor's plan to purge the tower will trigger the disaster she foresees. Ariane's banned from entering the Wizards' Tower, so she needs your help to open the archmage's eyes to the truth. You'll delve deep into the ruins of the very first Wizards' Tower, which was once home to four distinct orders: the serene Blue Wizards; the wise Green Wizards; the free-thinking Red Wizards and the analytical Grey Wizards. You'll need to solve the puzzle of how to enter, and decide what sort of mage you are to unlock the old tower's secrets and save the new one from its fiery fate. Rewards include a magical staff that's handy for low-level mages, as well as a unique wizard's hat and title, both of which reflect the magical order you aligned yourself with in the old tower (you'll have the opportunity to change this, if you wish). How to start Rune Mysteries: Speak to Ariane in the lobby of the Wizards' Tower. Requirements: None. Rune Memories (members only) At the end of Rune Mysteries, Ariane found herself in a bit of a bind, and now she needs your help once more. You'll fully explore the arcane ruins beneath the Wizards' Tower and experience - through the memories of its former inhabitants - the clashes of magical ideals that led to the old tower's downfall. Dig deep enough and put together the pieces of this ancient puzzle, and you'll have all you need to free Ariane and avert the disaster once and for all. Rewards for this members-only quest include a full set of magical robes to accompany the last quest's hat, as well as access to Archmage Sedridor's personal rune essence chest, which will grant you rune essence every time you level up in Runecrafting. This is applied retroactively if you've already levelled the skill, and by 99 you'll have received a mighty 24,750 essence in total! Those of you with very high Magic, Prayer and Runecrafting will find further, hidden rewards - ask around the tower once the quest's complete. How to start Rune Memories: Speak to Ariane in the ruins beneath the Wizards' Tower. Requirements: You must be a RuneScape member. Rune Mysteries 14 free inventory spaces. Ginger_Warrior
I can't really vouch for Glacors, but Dungeoneering has been far too easy in EoC Live, to be fair. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

Peronix
I tried out a few glacors. The most they hit on me was ~800. Nothing too major, but may actually have to use deflect now. Their defense, however, seems to have gone down. Kills were a fair bit quicker.

IridiumBunny
Seems like there was a highscore cleanup with this update too. Also this:
Demoli
The Void is now completely and Utterly useless. It was decent before, it was still inferior to lv 50+ armour in terms of defence and LP, and now it was nerfed to such ridiculous levels it's unusable on anything over level 80 or something. Baffling, there's not a single reason why they'd have to nerf it to that extent, at least make elite void better or something, as it is now, It used to be the only reliably hybriding armour, and now we got nothing. Bah. Wizards tower looks nice though. Edit: 50% loading screens, 50% loading screen everywhere.
Scherzo
Seems like there was a highscore cleanup with this update too. Also this: Wow, wtf, srs? Isn't that just a bit over the top? I can see why they do it though, december means exams the first half and christmas the second half, so the online numbers probably go down a bit. But again. 50% xp in december! WTF?! Octarine
It could just be a 30 min duration aura that has a daily cooldown. A constant 50% for the entire month would be a bit mad. MotherBrainII
Stats of the void set have been cut in half. Wow, way to go, Jamflex. So we have a level 42 armour set that takes about 15 hours to get, can't be traded, can't be redeemed in any way and now gives stats equal to a level 20 armour set I can buy on the GE for under 5k. Meanwhile, a random level 10 quest item that can be replaced pretty much for free in about two minutes from any bank still makes the virtus book, a level 80 item that can only be obtained from the toughest boss in the game, completely obsolete. And ganodermic gloves still don't degrade (I'm assuming the new Ahrim items and gano boots don't either). And the Penance aura still pretty much negates the need for any sort of prayer management (I can easily last an hour at miths with Soul Split and Torment without ever sipping a prayer potion or eating a bite of food). Excellent balancing, guys. Well, void still gives a 10% damage boost, which is always useful. Where? Where will you possibly need a 10% damage boost where you won't get screwed over by having basically zero defense? I think the best use I can get out of my void set at this point is alching it.
Fallstar
I thought both the quests were excellent, although I wish they hadn't removed Tutorial Island :( http://puu.sh/1vdKm The people who were getting 30M xp per QBD kill aren't rolled back yet... they better be. Demoli
Just make Void Armour redeemable and Elite Void to pre-nerf Stats. Then, it actually makes sense, otherwise it's just dead space, there's not a single instance where you'd use void now.
