July 4, 201313 yr Try comparing with 2 sets of dual wield weapons. Staves have a hidden damage in them, making them act like RCB with bolts (IE damage on the weapon and the bolt, rather than just bolt alone as in the case with CCB), and hence explains why Dragon staff and chaotic staff have different damage. There shouldn't be any between two sets of dual wield weapons, and both should be higher than Chaotic staff Edit: I should have actually clarified that my previous statement assumes Dual wield. That feature of magic also pretty much blows every and all staves out of the water in terms of raw damage.
