This is my first day here, and I've skimmed through the Player Killing forum; after my first ten minutes of viewing topics that were answered quite 'interestingly,' I've come to wonder...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Exactly who here still writes with attempted 'perfect' grammar?-- No offense to those who don't, but I've had to squint [ :shock: ] and ponder about some of the unique alterations of the English language... It was hard [read] for me to understand what quite a bit of the topic posters were saying, without the urge to leap off a five-story-high building.

Keep reading OT and the other forums within 'General' and you'll notice this is perhaps the only category where the majority still put effort into their posts :P

Believe it or not, many people on these forums actually do use acceptable grammar. While the group of people I speak of is a minority the fact is, is that it does exist.

Simple point, don't read the PK'ing boards. :wink:

Yup, plenty of times I feel like repeatedly smacking my head into a wall to get the stupid out, but it seems to happen more often in the sections that talk about RS thna here...

I always type the best i can, small typos in some big words. But that's okey. :lol:

I try too as best I can. I find that if I visit the PK boards my I.Q drops, on average, by 5 to 10 points.

i only go into OT and M&M anymore, so there isnt too big of a problem with that. some people may not like the way i type (no capitalization, usually no apostraphes, and probably poor spelling), but i think its ok.

I dont have a problem at all, because either i can read it, or i just ignore it. I do take some time though to acutly make out the words.

You'll get used to it after a while, just do what I do and just pretend you know what they are talking about if you come to something that you don't understand Lol

I can read it. But when people put next to no effort into writing something, in full, on a message board I take them a lot less seriously. Although if it was live-chat I'd have a different opinion.

I don't really see what's wrong with typing like that. Admitted, it makes you sound less 'intelligent' for what it has got to do with intelligence. But honestly, TS, do you need to read that three times before you can understand what he says?
