I'm glad we get acolyte from rotm. Would've been better to get it from sitw, though, so it wouldn't have been a completely useless quest.

Random assumption based on very limited info alert!

Don't get your hopes up; there is nothing that 100% verifies we get Acolyte.

Just that we seem to get a squad of Acolytes.

Until we see the quest reward or a picture of a player wearing it don't assume anything!

But new best in-game prayer armour does seem a likely step for rotm, though one wonders how big the quest will have to be for us to get full temple knight gear if rotm is needed for acolyte.

Also Zaros mahjratt all seem pretty nice so far and why not help us?

They don't want Zamorakian mahjaratt winning, and they definitely don't want another one to become a god; which Lucien is working towards.

Please don't make me cry.

On the topic of rotm, i just explored kethsi and found an entrance to a dungeon

has this already been mentioned before?

Yes there's several of them if memory serves.

There's a thread lurking about somewhere, tip.it has gone over tht place with a fine toothcomb (within the limits of orb of occulos)

Was thinking with the recent prayer mechanics update we might get Acolyte, but instead of just higher prayer bonus it could give maybe the same prayer bonus as proselyte and a prayer point boost, maybe +200.

With a saradomin symbol? It does look like the guardians of armadyl but this one comes with a saradomin symbol ;o

Eh right then it's the other faction. There's a couple of people in Falador Castle guarding Solus something-or-other who leads you to Bork. They all wear the same kind of colours iirc, one of them is from Armadyl, another Saradomin etc.

Oh, completely forgot about that guy. Now is even more intriguing, why is Ali the Wise with them?·_·

Well, he is pretty intelligent guy, and probably knows ritual site, which is why he is "leading" them towards it ^^

I thought the green plume was for White Knight Partisans.

No blue is Partisan

If you go to Fally castle

lvl 36 knights with red examine as initiate

lvl 38 with yellow as proselyte

lvl 39 with green as Acolyte

lvl 42 with blue as Partisan

Mkay, thanks for that.

I think I'd really find it underwhelming if our reward for beating one of the biggest threats in Runescape was Acolyte armour.

"Well done on foiling Lucien's plans ! Here, have a promotion to Acolyte rank !"

Random thought <_<

Anyway, it's just a bunch of White Knight Acolytes in the picture, so it's probably not related.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Actually they are Temple knight acolytes, well atleast Sir Tiffy is leading them.

I think it'd be ok. I mean the armours and ranks have never really been the bulk of the reward for quests; just sort of a sidenote that happens to be quite awesome.

I mean we got told

"Rewards include huge XP lamps, access to a new reward dungeon, equipment, a new spell, ranging gear, and new gear for the feet slot."

So it's not like the armour would be a massive part of the reward, heck the wording of tht BTS phrase implies they haven't even told us everything.

@Jolletzu

They are white knights, you can clearly see by their armours the match white knights.

The Temple Knights are a secret organisation within the white knights. Sir Tiffy etc are all White Knights, Temple knight is just sort of the ultimate rank.

Hence the entire string of we cannot be a Temple Knight until we are a fully fledged white knight which is why we are working our way up through the ranks.

Oh yeah, thanks for that, i totally forgot about that fact, been so long since i have done those quests.

I more of meant something along the lines of "You just neutralised the biggest threat known to Runescape, have a promotion to our 3rd lowest rank!!!"

It's that kind of scaling which seems a bit odd. Interesting Temple Knight logic :P

True but as far as we know after Acolyte its Partisan > Temple Knight

Partisans appear to be the best White Knight rank, so its not like Acolyte is low.

Though I do agree if rotm is giving us acolyete how massive a threat must there be for partisan status? Maybe the dragonkin?

Well it might be that Acolyte or Partisan armor is that torva-like prayer armor that was speculated on, which could be cool I guess. But meh :P

It is related actually, the guy on the right is Ali the wise, who is almost confirmed to also be this guy: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Wahisietel

Knowing what perhaps could be his true intentions, I highly doubt the rewards will be centered around new white knight equipment, sure we might get better items but that would be a plus for whatever happens on the quest, he's probably just using them to access the fortress or something, not everyone must know who he actually is.

I'd love to see a dragon warhammer. A lot of people are talking about dragon crossbows, but those would either decrease the value of chaotic cbow or be redundant themselves.
