What is considered a "low level" player

It's all about the total level. I just saw a level 3 ranked 21st in agility and other 99 skills with over 75M.

 

Now THAT is impressive, and lucky he didnt die alot if he's level 3

 

On topic: I think anyone considered to be a low level ddepends on how long they've played for and how longin that time...I mean I'm not really impressed with my 84 cb, 989 total level and not really "rich" (D med, drag weps, rune full I have, searching for that elusive whip :P) After 9 months thats pretty poor I think...

I would say 75 and under, some pplz are really good skillerz at around 78-80. I got a friend at 78 and he got a total lvl of 1250. Im 80 and got only 1219. :(

Newb: A new player in the game who is still inexperienced. Although I feel this is very offensive as they are low leveled and haven't been introduced to the world yet.

zzzamorak isnt 99 agility, hes actually 10m+xp away, gotta admit that his stats own tho and he is the best lvl 3 skiller in game.

 

 

 

when talkin about noobs id conisder their total level and combat lvls. a low combat and high total shows that the player is experienced and knows what theyre doing. i find that players with high combat and low total are often noobs as they are often young kids and very immiture. low slayer is often a sign of this. im not sayin that all high combats with low total are like this but i know that alot of them are

 

 

 

id consider any1 over 1400 total to be a good, experienced player also around 20m total xp? and all skills ranked. all skills 60+ shows that the players is really experienced

Depends on the way in which you look at it I guess. If you're forever in contact with level 100+'s then I guess anythign below would be classed as low-levelled.

 

 

 

For all those people being defensive about the 'I'm not a noob look at my skill total' thing, that wasn't the question... It was about low combat levels, not how 'nooby' you may be.

I normally base it on the terms i used to hear on the original Runescape.

 

 

 

If there's a high level player acting like the generic noob, I'll call them a froob.

 

 

 

If there's a noob acting like the generic noob I'll call them a noob.

 

To decide between low, meduim and high level players I normally go with.

 

 

 

1-45 Low level.

 

46-90 Medium level.

 

91+ High level.

 

 

 

That is of course purely based on combat, I think you should be able to have a stat replace your combat outside of the wilderness, and certain minigames. Somebody with 99 mining who's a level 3 impresses me more than a level 34 who's got low levelled stats all round, but right now you assume the level 3 is the newer player because you can't see the 99 mining.

with the "low level" topic id proberly consider players with combat skills under 60 as bein low lever, pray not included, and def not included with pures

 

 

 

although i dont have many people on my friends list who have under 70 in their combat skills, unless their pure or a rl friend. ive got 2 or 3 people in my friend list (that i dont know in real life) that wat i would consider as being low combat. saying this 1 of them is a skiller with a 99 skill, 1 is the son of a good online friend, and the other i met wen i first started.

 

 

 

so it seems that higher lvl players dont have many lower lvl players added. i dont know why this is, but maybe i feel id rather talk 2 experienced players who arent going to ask me so many questions regarding gameplay.

To me the numbers of levels are a lot less important than the knowledge about the game and the attitude of the player.

 

 

 

I mean, you can have the knowledge how to level most efficiently - but deciding to do other stuff because you enjoy it more that way. Enjoying to do other stuff than power levelling doesnt make you a bad player even if your levels are lower.

 

 

 

I also think there is way too much focus on combat levels when talking about low or high level players. I guess this is becase combat level is what you see when you mouse over someone in game. Imagine only seeing someones combat level when mousing over them in wildy, castle wars area and duelling areas - and seeing their total skill level when mousing over them elsewhere ;)

It's about knowledge. I see lvl 80's who want to buy my camo and so on. No one even cares to read the updates, and 95% during the easter bunnies this year asked how to become an egg.

 

 

 

Me? I definately know much more about RS than your average lvl 75 f2p player. I usually don't say that, but it's the truth :) I know the Barrows brothers and their weapons, always the exact price of the whip, and exactly how much WC exp one yew tree gives. Usually free players at my level hardly know what or where Ardougne is. So, you can be lvl 3 but wiser than a lvl 80.

It can depend upon many factors.

 

 

 

Basically I consider level 70 and below 'Lower leveled'. Not counting skill or melee pures.

 

 

 

I've never been much of a skiller however, my 79 only has a 700 and something total and my 92 only a 1100 and something total, so I have a lot of admiration for people with high skill totals/QP.

 

 

 

For plain old melee levels you pass a certain boundary IMO after you get a 70 stat.

 

 

 

But that's just me, right?

Lower then 80 is newb/noob, 81-89 is ok leveled, 90-99 is decent, 100+ is finally high leveled. Also, 120+ is WOAH EM GEE :lol:
