Face it. We're a community, a group of people that somehow became interested in this game, found these forums, and have melded into one large, insane, freakish being. But, like all people, we're "special" in our own ways. What's your oddity? What's makes people think of you as an individual? Be it an odd level in a skill, the way your character dresses, what you do on the forums, or even your amazing or shady experiences.

I'll give mine. I achieved this recently; it's nothing really amazing, but it's the best I could come up with. It was either this or mention that I was stupid enough to suggest that gems be used for arrowheads... :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Would this be put in Discussions, General, or General P2P? I'm not sure, because many of the quirks would involve P2P aspects (and the Rune Defender add-on as well), but it could also be considered a "discussion" by some as well...

I'm 99 slayer, 123 combat, and have 205 quest points. But I haven't done dragon slayer, heroes, legends, Isle of Miscelenia, or royal touble.

Good question. I had to think about that for a minute. I guess my friends think of me as the idiot who kept fletching after I hit lvl 99.

 

Now to answer your other question...

 

 

 

 

 

 

The rune defender only adds to melee bonuses. The magic and range bonuses are negative, and there is no prayer bonus. That is where the prayer books are still superior.

 

Note: the sara pray book adds +8 to all defense bonuses instead of attack.

I'll go further on that. I'm not raising combat for as long as i can. Even if it's troublesome to raise slayer exclusively on mage and range. Right now my combat is 76, I'm probably going to be 77 soon because of a raise in HPs, but that's it for a long while.

I always have some crazy get-rich-quick schemes that never seen to happen. But if I set myself a goal I always dop everything I can do achieve it.

I enjoy training agility at the Arena? Oh and most of melee fighting gear is freminnikised as possible.

I dont know. Maybe its the guy with the red boater... :?

just a few things:

 

1) Doing desert treasure on my own fished lobs, my own made pots, and some storebought deaths. All that at combat 68 and only 3 weeks after I first joined members. Yes I trained member skills pretty effectively in that month :P

 

2) having a fairly high mage lvl for my combat lvl

 

3) having a pretty high total lvl for my combat lvl

 

 

 

that and probably many more things make me special :P

 

I think we should make this thread about posting what makes some of your friends special.

 

You can't really judge yourself on this subject.

I always wear my full camo (sometimes Lederhosen hat), unless I'mm training combat. Woodcutting, fishing, mining...

 

 

 

And irl, there's no-one like me, I say that. I'm so weird that I don't even know what's so weird on me.

i have an obsession with prayer, burying every bone i see. and i havent started legends, monkey madness, regicide or desert treasure at lvl 91

I can't stand having my atk str and def more than 1 lvl appart... its odd but its me

Hmm, well there are a number of things!

 

 

 

1). I love my Mining Helmet, you may call it strange, but we'll see who's laughing when you fall into some place that's dark ... Without a light source!

 

 

 

2). These days, it seems like everyone knows I have high herblore, and don't hesitate to take advantage of it.

 

 

 

3). Apparently I've gotten a reputation as being pretty good at things like Dag. Kings and such.

 

 

 

4). I have a fire cape, and a pretty decent total level.

 

 

 

5). I am a turtle! Or a cougar... :-k But probably both- yeah, I'm both.

 

 

 

That's about it! And oh yeah, I'm a big meany!

i still havent finished every f2p quest, and am angered at the fact that someone would sell 4 coal, for 1k, i mean, whi is it worth 250 gp, where 1 year ago, it was worth 100 ea
