sheepdean
nathan you noob(joking). this is in the wrong forum, as you are wishing to give and recive advice. now, where should that go? Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all. Risen_The
ALWAYS buy pray pots that are (4) dose instead of (3). (3) dose sell for: 7 - 7.5k ea = 2.33k - 2.5k per dose. (4) dose sell for: 9 - 9.5k ea = 2.25 - 2.375k per dose. Does't seem like much of an difference, but if you're buying in bulk, it actually makes a pretty big difference. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=525348 - My Pking Gallery I'M BACK FOR SUMMER BABY

bflitny1
If only I had seen this yesterday, I spent hours sorting my bank!!! I like your advice for slayer trojann, only, I HATE CANONS!!! I'm gonna write a letter to Jagex asking if using the control panel thing for alching is even legal, it might not be, Iand I don't want to get banned for it!!! I'll post the reply if I get one. My advice: - When mining coal/iron use the mine outside ardougne's east entrance, bring 2 waters and 2 laws each trip, tele to ardougne after each trip, steal 2 cakes and bank, the cakes heal the same as lobbies and so can be good food for slayer, you can accumulate quite a lot doing this. - At pest control, make sure you're on world 78 and always wait until you have 100 points before cashing them in, you often get better xp for any skill at pest control than training it normally. - For castle wars bring a few natures, earths and waters to bind someone when they have the flag, you win a lot more games doing this. Of course ice spells are even better if you can afford/cast them. - Use the sound effects runescape has to offer, someone mentioned it for fishing, fletching and woodcutting, I use it for mining too, and when ranging black demons, I just always have tip.it forums open, so it's a must for me! dogfever
2. When safespotting for range take a few water and body runes and a earth staff. Before you start rangeing the monster cast curse on it. It will draw the monster to your spot without leaving your arrows spread everywhere and lower def by 5% That's what I was talking about. So you did. Didn't notice sorry. Edited my post to mention it. Nice avatar btw. df

Been doing it for a while with no problems but I shall edit that tip out. :D I have to say though, that is very unfair on disabled people who have to use mouse keys but fair enough. df
Candymann16
Struggling to reach the thieving levels needed for Nate and Craven's tips? Above level 40 and completed recruitment drive? Make your respawn point Falador and head on over to the guards in Falador square. Pickpocket them, wearing nothing and nothing in inventory. Pickpocket them to your heart's content? Running low on health? Go kill yourself. Literally! Keep pickpocketing away and you'll eventually die and respawn at the castle. Hey, that's 2 clicks away from where you were! Saves money on transport and buying food :) Accumulated a good amount of coins in doing so? Just before that fatal blow, drop your coins. By the time you die and come back, they should still be there for you to pick up \ what you could also do is theive in ardougne and get a full invenory of cakes from the stall before you start on guards on the topic of theiving, with the introduction of the wine stall in draynor village you can theive water filled jugs and grapes, which make wine (heals 11) so when ever you see the stall is stocked theive it and you might get lucky, and this means you dont have to bank for food while your trying to get some seeds from the farmers there
Mirror
Some good tips here, let me see if I can pull any out. -Use the highest key you have while shade slaying. dragon0707
I discovered this pretty good way to abby runecraft. Cause I was so tired of losing my glories. requirements: Quest hall with mounted glory amulet (level 47 construction required) and some player house teleport stones (requires lv 67 construction, but you can make them in other people's houses. That is what I do anyway) It is really quite simple after that. Just take out a tele stone and fill the rest with essence. (I also equip a bronze pickaxe from bob's axes) (Also using pouchs is the only way to go.) Then run through the abby and craft as usual. Just break the tele stone to goto your house. Then rub the glory in your house to get back to edge. (Now you will never have to recharge your glories :)) There you have it. Almost no loss in speed, and the risk is nothing. Also if I need to heal from those dang abysmal creatures I can just make a stop at my kitchen. One more tip for getting pouches faster. All of the creatures in the abby drop the pouch, so find a spot with lots of abysmal leaches. They only have 10 hp! You might have to move occationally to get away from the walkers though. I can get all my pouchs back in less then 10mins this way.
Screechingmu
When playing pest control with dharoks, why waste time getting explosive pots? Just attack a few splaters! Instant low hp! My Guide to Killing Green Dragon Autoers

If you go to the North-West of the abyss there are more leeches there. Also there are plenty of points around the outside walls where you can only be attacked by one creature at a time. I used this method and didn't ever get attacked by anything other than a leech because (I think) they don't fit into the gap that is left after you kill the leech. You may have to move once in a while after the pile of loot gets too big to see everything. (I'm 100% sure this one is legit:)) df
supervic1234
i got a tip, for either fletching or herblore or whatever you can do with it: 1.e.g. fletching: you have to attach bows to strings. First take 14 bowss(u), then 14 strings out of your bank. move one bow(u) to the last spot in your inventory. Click it, then click the bowstring, then the bow(u) again. this way you can just keep clicking between two bows and will fletch much faster ( you can also do this with water-filled vials and 2nd ingredients ) 2. to make that even go faster( or less moving with your mouse) instead of clicking the bow(u) and string on the bottom 1 at the time, first click on the string once, then the bow(u) twice, then the string twice, etc. this way you'll save time moving around with your mouse! ( and maybe you'll save some pain in your hand/arm lol )
kwimbob
The old simple one; Hold the Control (Ctrl) key as you click on the map to go somewhere and you'll run without having to change to Run in the stance menu. Speaking of this, here's my tip (I didn't see it yet, but I hope I didn't miss it): All monsters in the game move at our walking pace. Because of this anything that doesn't have ranged attack (which is like 85% of all monsters) can only continue to attack you if you're walking. So if you're ever being attacked but are in an area where you want to continue walking use the control-click to take about 2 steps of run, then click on the mini-map to continue walking with those 2 spaces of safety behind you and between the monster. Then it won't be able to attack you any longer and you won't waste any energy. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]

Bubsa
Woah, don't let this drop to the second page! :o Tip: Don't just use the strongest weapon you have on monsters, when slaying etc. Certain enemies have certain weaknesses, a good stab attack on a dragon's hide will work well, whereas a more accustomed THUMP with a crush attack will take down that pesky knight's platearmour. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

stormveritas
When ranging fire giants at the waterfall, be sure to bring Glarial's Amulet and your Glory Amulet. You only need the Glarial Amulet to get through the door (unlike the Lucien's Pendant in the Temple of Ikov), then you can switch to your glory and collect the range bonus it offers.
