Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

That looks like a really expensive coat hanger. I'd feel important hanging my coat on it. :P

I have an iPod. Black 30gig. I don't boast the iPod's superiorty or anything - but I will say that I personally like the controls and interface better than the other ones I've tried. I also like that it syncs with both my iBook and my Mac Mini.

You, sir, make sense. I commend you for your valid and justified ownership.

20GB Creative Zen, $400AUD.

Ive had it for nearly two years and the only problems I've had is headphones breaking out of my own carelessness and wiping the firmware whilst fiddling around with it. The firmware had yet to be released, but Creative customer support had emailed it to me with instructions within 15 minutes of me ringing them =D> Scratches are from general day to day use and when i dropped it on the bus and it slid around on the floor before i could pick it up #-o

Apart from that, its still in great condition and works great. I shall be buying another Creative Zen with a bigger hard drive in the future after i have finished building my computer because they are just a good product. Function over fashion and i feel the Zens do it better than iPods. The $50 difference in price doesn't justify me buying an iPod either.

Now, I can relate to that as well. I think the menu function is 'better', as it were, on the iPod. However, that means smeg all to me when the thing doesn't work. I'm not trying to champion any player as better than the other, just that I prefer the Zen due it's 'working' function.

Damn man, that's PMP!

I have a 20GB iPod 3rd gen. It was by far and away the best at the time of purchase (late 2003) - all the rivals were much larger and had terrible interfaces and controls.

The thing I hate most is when someone buys a large capacity MP3 player and then only fills a quarter of it. Mine was filled as soon as I got it.

100GB (18,250 tracks) of music here :D

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

Tip.It needs a music uploads forum. O:)

I have a black 4GB iPod Nano, got it in December 2005.

Never had a problem, except for the headphones, which I easily replaced at the Apple tech support.

I'd be happier with the capacity of a Video, but I like the size of the Nano (mine has 1.7MB avaliable :-w ).

I like the interface and style of the iPod much better than any other MP3, and, if handled with care, the iPod is durable.

Call me a fanboy.

I own a 20gig white iPod. It's pretty fantastic. I have had it for almost two years now, and when it had a problem the Apple Support gave me a new one right away without any problems. The interface is way better than any other MP3 player that I have ever seen, and it has always been durable enough for me. I loves it! :P

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

I don't think you got the point of durability right

i have a 1 gig iPod Nano, i hate when people always ask why you didn't get a bigger capacity nano. lol 1 gigs all i need, i don't even listen to more than about 150 songs

I have a 512mb shuffle.. It pretty much plays from the time I was up till the time I pulg it in to recharge it at night. I usually have it set for shuffle unless I want to hear a specific song (I put all my favorites at the top of the playlist)

I wouldn't mind having a nano or something, and I plan on buying one but first I have to go through drivers ed (this fall) and get a job. Fun fun :wall:

i have a 1gb ipod shuffle. no, im not a fanboy, but i needed something that played music while holding all my school files, all the while easily fitting in my pocket. controls are simple, too. its great :D it makes a great flash drive, and handles abuse

I have an iPod Nano, but it doesn't hold as many songs as i'd like it to...

Are you kiding? I have a 2gig Nano and I only hvae 200 songs on it, and i'm more than happy with it (quite overwhelmed tbh)

Amazes me to know I had been using cd players till I was 13 untill I got a MP3 Player lol.

Forty Gig iPod. Got it a couple years back for Christmas. At the moment it displays the "I'm sick so call support" face. You know, with the crossed eyes and sad smile. Stupid device, quite possibly the most expensive paper weight in the house.
