it may be a nice weapon to use if you dont have much money and are not planning to spend much on weapons, since its so cheap. But in general it is a failure, anyone would pay an extra mil for much a much better weapon that allows a shield, aka whip.

i hate the way jagex **** the weapons in rs2.

It should be back to rs1

all weapons at same speed 2h ->battle -> long etc.

not scimmy - long- etc :(

People knew it was a failure before it would come out (seeing as how slow it is and how good the whip is). The only thing that was decent was the special.

Basically since the release of RS2 all 2 handers were obsoleted due to the introduction of weapon speed.

Haha, very true. I remember 2h's were BIG in rs-c. I even ran a business selling magical b2h's and made a ton of cash but that was the past, I'm a changed person.

Great, theres a former scammer on the TET. What's next, making Durial a forum mod?

=; Hey! I did that for like 3 weeks and found out it wasn't aloud <.< . I had just become a member for the first time and saw a lot of potential in selling b2h's :XD:. If you know me now you would know I donate all my stuff to newbs and friends because I play Runescape for fun and not lvls. O:)

only 2 skills below level 50 :)

FAILURE they are useless... i can hit a 24 with a rune 2h and d b axe special, i can hit a 25 with d2h and d b axe special... only redeeming fact is it hits a little more often #-o

The world is full of self proclaimed experts who really don't know what they are talking about.

If there wasn't dha, it would be a huge sucess.

Dharoks needs to be repaired though.. Dragon 2 hander doesn't..

I also have to agree.. The special is pretty cool.

If Jagex would only increase the speed of 2handed weapons (except bows of course...). I mean, you use your 2 hands to swing the weapon, yet you do it slower than with a b axe and a shield in your hand...

I think that would solve quite a few things. Then there would be a choice again between more defence (whip + shield) and a bit more attack power (improved 2h with speed compared to whip). Now its just less defence and big power (2h) compared to better defence power AND speed (whip).

On the other hand, its something that has been there so long: 2h (or halberd for that matter) = SLOW. People would find it hard to adapt.

I however would like it. If Jagex would think a bit about it, they could make it so that a 2h would be just a bit better than a whip. This way you could have a reasonable choice between them.

Right. D2H. It looks incredibly pwnage, but hits crap - I only hit one or two points less with rune. Waste of money really, even though the special is decent. Sould be just under 1M IMO, it sucks so bad.

If there wasn't dha, it would be a huge sucess.

But dha just owns it, its good for training, and it hits more.

And really, besides the special for multi zone training, whats the use besides hitting big, and dha already replaced that.

Current Goal: Fire Cape, 0-6 at the caves 0-3 agianst the Jad, Lag done me in.

personally, like many other weapons I think it is a failure. What runescape lacks is an efficient weapon only bonus system, I know you have bonuses for using slashing damage or what not against a particular monster. But what we need is some good monsters that you can ONLY kill by using a 2hander or a warhammer on them.

I reckon this would take some of the less used weapons and make them alot more popular, and would actually take some strategy in normal training rather than just pick the most ownage weapon ever and kick some a**!

:P

That is a really really good idea.

failure, but it does have a very nice special

dont forget that d2h only requires 60 attack where as dh axe requires 70 attack AND 70 str......and yeah i think that because its a dragon weapon, it should be a bit faster than the other 2h weapons......and its special attack should definately be more powerfull

two handers in general are just unpractical when put beside a whip...almost anything is.

but the special is really good for a quick boost of exp if your training at dags ;)

It might be a little more useful if there wasn't already Dharok's axe, which I think is better than D2H even without the set effect, but I'm not sure. Plus, axe is more affordable. And anyone that is going to use either of these is *probably* going to have 70+atk and str.

I love how Jagex keeps introducing new crap without fixing the old, broken crap. Way to go Jagex.

i decided to test out the dragon 2h sword in pest controll on a huge pile of bugs. I did 107 damage in one hit using its special attack.

a bit off topic: is it effective on getting the 50 damage in pest control? if yes, i am gonna to buy 1, wait, is it a success now?

Its quite nice, its just that it is overshadowed by the Abyssal Whip.

It is too similar to the hally. (very very powerful, very slow, swipe attack) except it doesen't have the range!

So yeah. Hally>d2h by a loooot (atleast for training without food like me :D)

D2H is faliure to be because jagex made the weapon's special attack so lame. Now D2H is stronger than D-mace, Mace hits higher than D2H, jagex should change their special to a dif type so it does really high damage (60+ or so) because it has high crush strength

well....what i friend to do is get to an empty world with a d2h, and a main weapon, go to rock crabs, get like 7-9 around him, then spec. 100+ damage at a time did give some xp, then he slaughtered all of them with a whip, then repeat. Even faster then with just whip. :)
