October 1, 200619 yr Vocals: Steve Walsh (Kansas) Guitar: Tom Schultz (Boston) (I just really like his style of playing) Guitar: Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple) Keyboard: Rick Wakeman (Yes) Bass: Geddy Lee (Rush) Percussion: Neil Peart (Rush) ...Flute: Ian Anderson \ (Jethro Tull) My idea of a pretty awesome band, and i figure there's 3 vocalists that could switch off/on, backup, or whatever. I didn't want to say "rhythm guitar" for either of the guitarists i chose because that is kind of saying that one is better than the other, which in my opinion, is not the case here. Plus, duel lead guitars sounds awesome in some songs. "El que no arriesga no gana"

October 6, 200619 yr Band: Vocals:Serj Tankian (System of a Down) Guitar 1:Robert Flynn (Machinehead) Guitar 2:Corey Beaulieu (Trivium) Bassist: Pete Wolstenholme (Muse) Drummer: Joey Jordison (Slipknot,Murderdolls) Other artists i would consider are Matt Heafy(Trivium), Flea(Red Hot Chilli Peppers),Zack de la Rocha(RATM),Ice T(Bodycount),DJ Muggs(Cypress Hill) and Dino Cazares (Ex Fear Factory). I know exactly what you mean, its just ruining the whole game for everybody, this is the worst update since noobs.

October 11, 200619 yr Dragonforce, minus the synths and vocals... Replaced vocals with someone like tim from rise against :)
October 11, 200619 yr wow i was so suprised when this was bumped. to Nadril: I think if Li was playing rhythm then it would be thrash? not speed. to How2pk: a rhythm guitarist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_guitar and Nadril again: OMG? Khan are you serious? buhaha i hate that guys voice :P Nah I think it probaly would still be speed. As far as vocals go I generaly like the vocals in Kamelot, however, I think i'd switch it over to the vocalist in "Lost Horizon" (am too lazy to look up a specfic name now). :)
October 11, 200619 yr Lead vocals: John Kay. Rhythm/Lead guitar: Scott Gorham. Backing vocals/Lead guitar: Gary Moore. Bassist: Geddy Lee. Drums: John Bonham. Gotta love twin guitars.
October 11, 200619 yr Robert Plant-Vocals Jimmy Page-Lead guitar Pete Townshend-Lead guitar Jimi Hendrix-Rhythm Neil Pert(either him or Keith Moon)-Drums Paul Mccartney-Bass/Vocals i had to argue with either a bass or a keyboard and for bass i was considering flea but decided he is too heavy for this kind of band so i went with paul 485th person to ever play RuneScapeBlue107- perm banned 10/12/2007. $300 USD reward if you can get me in contact with someone who will take 5 seconds to look at evidence and get my original character unbanned.
October 15, 200619 yr Lead Guitar(s): Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) Lead Guitar(s): David Gilmore (Pink Floyd) Bass: Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) Drums: Lars Ulrich (Metallica) Lead Vocals: James LaBrie (Dream Theater) Keyboard: Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) In my head, I can picture this being a progressive metal band with Ulrich and Waters the main backbone. LaBrie's vocals would match this awesomly. Tons of keyboard solos on a Haken Continuum keyboard from Rudess, and a lot of Stairway to Heaven esque guitar solos from Page, and complementary solos from Gilmore the likes of which we haven't heard since Comfortably Numb. I can picture it now. Totally awesome.
October 15, 200619 yr vocals: Elton John/Billy Joel(just elton on piano mabe even switching) Drums:Phil Collins(did i say this could be for charity mabe singing) rythem guitar: Eric Clapton bassist: needs a bassest that gives most to charity(did i say this is a charity) post artist that could join: that are in there 50/60. example David Bowie new bassest sting pluss David Bowie electric key bords/mabe the guy from "this is spinal tap" chester thomas jr. drums(not phil) lead guitar:Niel Young or Crazy horse, who ever plays: Cowgirl in the sand (electric guitar) My pure's stats: str:70attc:35def:4range:72mage:70hp:70
October 16, 200619 yr Guitar: Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) Bass and lead vocals: Greg Lake (King Crimson) Keyboards: Jon Lord (Deep Purple) Drums: Terry Bozzio (Mothers of Invention) Soprano: Veronika Kramheller (Haggard) A hard symphonic progressive band. That'd sound really interesting. :) EDIT: Just mixed some songs together to see what'd turn out from that combination. Pretty weird, but I guess that's because they'd need an audio engineer better than me. Link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/khjbv5 ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

June 13, 200719 yr Maybe not my dream band but I would like to see what these guys can come up with. Vocals- Jill Andrews/ Elliott Smith (The Everybody Fields/ Solo Artist) Rhythm Guitar- Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) Lead Guitar-Stephen Malkmus (Pavement) Keyboard- Elliott Smith Bass- Sam Quinn (TEF) Percussion- Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa)
June 13, 200719 yr New band: Lead Guitar: Jimmy Page Led Zeppelin Rhythm Guitar: Ritchie Blackmore Deep Purple Vocals: Tyler Aerosmith Drums: Lars Ulrich Metallica Bass: Whathisname Red Hot Chilli Peppers Rock n Roll style. 99 Slayer since August 2007.
June 13, 200719 yr Vocals: Mike Patton (Mr Bungle etc) Lead:Steve Vai and Dimebag Darrel (pantera) Rythm: Herman Li (Dragon force) Bass: Victor Wooten or Billy Sheehan Drums: Dave Lombardo (slayer) That's some mixture  . Although I must admit that I would've taken Dimebag and Lombardo into my group so that it would look something like this: Lead: Dimebag Darrel Rythm:Kuisma Aalto from Mokoma Vocals: Either Chuck Billy from Testament or Tom Araya (possibly the bassist). Drums: Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Testament, Grip Inc. and so on), Chris Adler (Lamb of God) or Tomas Haake (Meshuggah) Bass: Tom Araya or Paulo jr. from Sepultura The style would be Post-Trash a.k.a. June 19, 200719 yr My band would be so incredibly ultimate it's not funny. Vocals: Ian Gillian (Deep Purple) Drums: Albert Bouchard (Blue Oyster Cult) Rhythm Guitar: Tom Scholz (Boston) Lead Guitar: Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser (Blue Oyster Cult) Keyboards: Jon Lord (Deep Purple) Bass: Mike Watt (Minutemen) Gillian has a brilliant voice, and Lord has mad keyboard shreddage skill. Scholz would be the technical side of the band, providing the ultimate tone and production. Bouchard and Roeser are both great songwriters not to mention fairly technically gifted, and Mike Watt has got to be one of the best bassists on the face of the planet. EDIT: New band: Lead Guitar: Jimmy Page Led Zeppelin Rhythm Guitar: Ritchie Blackmore Deep Purple Vocals: Tyler Aerosmith Drums: Lars Ulrich Metallica Bass: Whathisname Red Hot Chilli Peppers Rock n Roll style. Ritchie Blackmore could easily pwn Jimmy Page. If I could get away with nicking blues riffs from decades-old folk songs like Jimmy does I would too, and that aside he's not even a super technically-talented player. Even though Blackmore loves his damned Pentatonics way too much he still plays better solos and such in my eyes. And I sware, if somebody tells me "omfg listen to stairwae to heaven lawl" I will stab them in the face. handed me TWO tissues to clear up. I was like "i'm going to need a few more paper towels than that luv"
June 19, 200719 yr This is incredibally hard for me to do, I know so many good artists that it becomes really complicated as to which playing style would suit who. Lead Vocals - Corey Taylor. This one was easy, Corey is one of the best frontmans and metal singers around capable of a whole range of vocal styles. Rhythm Guitar - John Petrucci. Really great all round player, love his lead work as well. Lead Guitar - Really difficult choice. The best solo (IMO) was Sweet Child of Mine, although I dont think Slash would go well with the rest of the group. I'd choose Jimmy Page for his awesome solo's, especially the one in Achilles Last Stand. Drums - I think that Mike Portnoy would get this spot. His drumming can annoy me at times but I still think its the best around. His drumming on the Train of Though Album was very good. Bass - Jaco Pastorious. Hands down, the best bassist I know by far. I think he would add a jazzy feel to the music and be a better base for the songs than another metal bassist who hits the same note over and over. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

June 20, 200719 yr ok here: drummer #1: Lars Ulrich (Metallica) Bassist: Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) Guitarist #1: Dave Murray (Iron Maiden) Guitarist #2: Kirk Hammet (Iron Maiden) Guitarist #3 And Vocals: Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) drummer #2: Dude From Slipknot "I will never falter, ill stand my ground"
June 20, 200719 yr Tough. I think I've done a topic like this before, but what the hell: Vocals - Rob Halford (Judas Priest, solo stuff) (Both guitars also do rhythm)- Lead - "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (Pantera, Damage Plan) 2nd Lead - Alot of people are worthy, but someone to go with Dimebag's style... I'm thinking a thrash guitarist, like Mustaine or something. Drums - Brann Dailor (Mastodon) Bass - Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) It'd probably be pretty odd sounding, seeing as how alot of them would want creative control...Especially Harris, Darrel, and Mustaine. Eh. I'll put more thought into it, and if I come up with something, I'll post it. It really has
