mrmyk Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 okay i know many people myself included with very nice stats which should make us really good stakers/pkers but its also a downfall as we dont get stakes but rejections instead! i know a few others with not as good stats but they get all the breaks! the basic question is... do you or someone else you know get all the breaks..whether it is a dragon chain off dust devil or winning a phat against impossible odds? On my last crystal bow which was going to break at any time (it was 1/10) killed a dust devil. And there it stood and dragon chain. Then killed two more dusties and the bow broke. "yey i got coins....holy hamster food!!!!! 11.7 mil!!!!!!!!" at the time i was around lvl 85, thus i didn't give him his money back and tbh even know i wouldn't have it was his own fault for taking that long and not noticing, he was either afk or autoing therefore, his fault. so yeah...owned? i then went to world 2 the next day and got 4mil cause somebody else died lol, and ive gotten a guth spear from barrows...HOWEVER! i do indeed have bad luck as well add up the things from above and about another 16m thats about the amount i've made altogether. thats what 11.7+4+16+6=37.7m now my net value is around 17m so yeah see the way bad luck hits me as well? 20m gone....somewhere by the way all of this stuff happened on my main (my noob has been pretty lucky too so far without much bad luck too) look him up and you'll fail too see where the money went, never been hacked or scammed or lost any on dueling....where did my 20m go don't ask! stan18 Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 back in rsc on thanksgiving eve, i got a d med, which was 2.4m, WITHOUT all the inflation. that spurred my interest in rare drops, and on christmas eve, i solo'd the kbd and got a d med on the 4th and 6th kbd, both of which i merchanted to get me another 2m. they're only worth a fraction of what they used to be worth now, but i still don't mind getting d meds :) i've gotten ~20 dmeds drop as of yet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Afte 10mins of just sitting therei realise i got hacked(great way to start the year :-k ?) My friend(metal heart) says we should go barrows,got 5 items on 1 day YAY 5M back second day i got 3 more items YAY back to 8M -I looked at my bank and i see i got 15k chaos,think what i could do with that,STEEL DRAGS! -i repair my ahrims,bought some anti fires and goes with 2 friends to steel drags, First i got a dragon spear YAY my first spear drop,2 kills later i walk to my friends with a shiny new pair of DRAGON LEGS! then for a couple of weeks,months my money stays the same and then cave horrors came out,made a fortune on those creeps :D so now i'm back to 27M Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Was hanging out in wildy with my friend, had 3 items and were just chilling, bought a team capes and such...i thought we had the same color on but my friend had more than one and was switching, so i clicked on him accidently..got skulled with dds which was a big deal since i wasn't pking. We were in about lvl 40 wildy, but it was f2p wildy...so we weren't really worried bout pkers. After my skull wore off we were gonna go get mauled by kbd, so we were just talking a little ways off from lair. Suddenly out of the blue, i'm snared and see little flames comin up from underneath me. I turn on protect from magic and start munchin' on my lil cakes as fast as possible. I'm running trying to escape from snare...she's gotten me down to my final 10 hp and i can't eat fast enough to heal significantly. i'm saying my final goodbyes to my dds...the final 10 hits me i wind up in fally. toast647 Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 i was about lvl 61 on my second account (first accoutn was used to get used to the game) my friend was afk while cutting yews and skulled from our pking trip earlier and b00m tree spirit pl0x? he dies yay free guthix pl8 and like 500k. i knew i had always wanted a santa, so i sold some of my stuff and paid my friend in cash and sara for his santa and i bought it for 300k cheaper then it was :D ok santa is 2.1m, i hold onto it for a whole year watched it rise and fall, was about 300k short of buyign another one couldnt buy it, got nervous and sold it for 4m :notalk: :-# -.- :wall: i still made 1.9m but then i saw it rise up to 15m *sigh* Also got a dragon skirt off a 14 bronze dragon task Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(this and the one above it is true) yeh, id say i have had lots of big breaks... on topic, im about as lucky on runescape as i am irl... i kill a massive amount of dragons for 4m, and buy a santa (got a good deel, they had just rizen to 5m) then, im in wildy, pking, and all the sudden i see this noob with a red mask on... he was pking too... some noob who swiches into gear... dds, he puts on rune pl8 and legs and whip... dds... he dies, protects pl8, legs, and whip... free red mask for me.... woo im rich!!!.... finally get a whip, only slightly more thena week from my birthday, i get hacked.... no more red mask. no more santa. no more whip. well... this sucks, i think to myself... i go mine 10k pure ess... yes thats right, 10k... i get scammed 1k of it... im like oh well... then i start rcing nats... make like 100 then get pked for all my laws (i was tellieing to egevill ((ancients spell)) to bank and use abyss).then guess what, an hour later, i get a great offer! a whip for 2m, but he was willing to accept my ess.... but the person selling it is at egevil. so i run over there, am in like 1 step of lvl 1 wildy, turns out, its a lure, there yeh go. now im poor again.... wop wop Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

xSxqPowerx Posted September 3, 2006 Share Posted September 3, 2006 Umm, when I was 95 combat I went to barrows and got 1 kill count, on guthan, an after a week had full guthan :) Couple of lucky buys/trades, like trading a d skirt for d legs, selling whip for 10.6 when they were 9.8, etc. Got a d chain at kq today : :D I've had some bad luck too though. I am still cursing myself for not keeping it for a month when it shot up to 100. I thought Jagex would fix their error after regular ess returned to 30 each and the yew autos so I sold early.
