Ts_Stormrage
Proselyte armor is better in every respect then Initiate (I did an awesome sword twirling fatality on that motherslugger btw, cool cutscene). Even better prayer bonus, and whats even better, you can sell your Initiate back to the shop. Armor is tradable just like its predecessor, and from the outside (you looking at someone else) it looks almost exactly like Initiate. So be casefull when trading it. PS; the levels go on -> Initiate Proselyte Acolyte Partisan... Stats: Helm: -6 magic -2 range attack +19 stab +21 slash +16 crush -1 magic +19 range defense +4 prayer Body: -30 magic -10 range attack +65 stab +63 slash +55 crush -6 magic +63 range defense +8 prayer Legs: -21 magic -7 range attack +33 stab +31 slash +29 crush -4 magic +31 range defense +5 prayer ALL: -57 magic -19 range attack +117 stab +115 slash +100 crush -11 magic +113 range defense +17 prayer Something tells me that prices of prayable monster (abyssal demons, metal dragons) drops as well as pray potions will take a dive. m4tty
if it can be wielded at low def, i imagine more low def people with fire capes will come, and maybe some "Proselyte pures".
Ts_Stormrage
if it can be wielded at low def, i imagine more low def people with fire capes will come, and maybe some "Proselyte pures". Well thats to be expected, altho I imagine that you need 30 or so def for this to wield, since its stats are EXACTLY matched with Adamant. I expect the other levels to appear too: Acolyte and Partisan (level 40 and 60 respectivly?) tefda
I wonder how powerfull partisan will be... and the requierments for that quest better be high. Well we all know that the newest one is like Adamantite so following along with that we could guess Alcolyte would be Rune and then supposedly Partisan would be like Dragon. But that doesn't make sense because Jagex has constantly said "Dragon is the most powerful armor that does not require upkeep" so I'll bet Partisan will just be a level 50 defence. I'd want it to be a level 70 defence armor that's similar to Barrows. It could have a connection where a Temple Knight actually killed the Barrow Brothers and was working with the Evil Wizard who imprisoned their souls and whatnot. The armor could then be very strong but require an upkeep just like Barrows armor. Would be interesting to say the least (Bonus to fighting undead perhaps?). Barihawk
+3 more prayer bonus is going to make potions drop? Please. If anything, it will make them more viable and therefore more expensive (I hope). My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

Not revolutionizing? Anywhere anyone in RuneScape uses prayer robes or initiate will now more than likely be using this armor if they have completed the quest. Initiate has been rendered useless and Verac's has lost a slight edge over the other prayer armors. Yes, it has great defense bonuses, but the only places anyone really uses Verac's defense bonuses is at Kalphite Queen, Duel Arena, and Fight Pits. I fight Steel Dragons all the time and I personally find this an excellent addition to npc fighting.

Verac's has always had lower prayer bonuses than monk robes and Initiate, about -1 prayer bonus than them. Verac's has been a good prayer armour because of it's obvious defense bonuses.
