Cha0sx
This is possibly the best setup for Abyss Crafting...BTW I bring a 4 dose saradomin brew incase i get tbed..I have never ever died yet. You should add that to your argued items as very useful. It increases your def plus heals you+ goes over max hp. -Bearhead -Amulet of Glory -Spottier Cape -Black d'hide body -Black d'hide chaps -Mithril Picaxe (weights 1 lighter than all other picaxes and they are all just as good) -Saradomin Book (FULL, one less mage def than mind shield but much more melee def bonus that will help you in the end) -Boots of lightness -Ring of dueling (if you forget glory, life wont help much already if u have 1 click tele) -Penance Gloves/Black d'hide vamps (Penance Gloves Reduce Weight by 4 or 5 but if you die you lose them for good so I personally use Black d'hide vamps because I don't want to lose something that might take hours to get back). Inventory: 1,2,3,or 4 pouches, one 4-dose sara brew, 5 home teletabs (if you die in house of poison you still survive, then you can use your home portals to tele near a bank. Also Five incase you forget to get out more when you are attacked.) The rest will be filled with essence of course!

Thank you, I did not know of the mithril pickaxe and it's lightweightness over the rest, you have changed my equipment. :P Also I have added the saradomin brew to the "argued items". HellsBells
Rcer shield One semi rare occasions, a fellow rcer is crafting with you that happens to be around your level, and there just happens to be a pker your level. Follow the rcer into the wilderness. When you pass by the pker, he is more likely to attack the person who pops up first on his screen. Once the poor rcer has been attacked, run like hell to the mage so the pker does not have a chance to attack you. Currently looking for a picture of this happening, if you have one post it here with the code. Runecrafting PKers are low-lives. However, using a fellow RuneCrafter as a shield is really nice, isn't it? :shame: My F2P Moneymaking Guide!Always gargle before a takeoff. Wakka Wakka! You haven't lured him or anything, the pker just happens to attack him instead of you. iwatake
Great guide, with good pictures and information! It will certainly help those less-experianced abyss rcers out there. Btw, I love the picture you started the guide with

fakeitormakeit
Nice guide, though I have only a rune pickaxe, glory, spotted cape, and boots of lightness and bring ess and puches when crafting and lucky me. I haven't died once since I started using the abyss. I give this guide a 9.9/

mbrun
Very good reading. I hang out in worl 97 and have been pked twice by teleblock. Even with having mind shield/helm, and full b dhide/glory and spotted cape. I will start using my bear hood, and holy book and use ring of life and house teles Barrows Drops: Guthan's platelegs and War Spear, Dharok's plate body and Great Axe, Verac's Flail, Verac's Helm x 2, Ahrim's top, Dharok's plate legs Dragon Drops: Medium Helm x 4, Shield Left Half, plate legs x 2, skirt x 2. Legoluke
very nice guide, if you really want to be glory safe, just take a ring of dueling, cw tele, then glory to edge, slighlty more costly, also lose time, but much safer item wise :? That's actually a good suggestion... I'll have to try this sometime and see if it's worth cutting down the runecrafting time. Lemurian
Could you add what level Wilderness the Abyss itself is and what levels the PKers usually are? Owner of Quest Cape since 11/9/2007 23:30! Working my butt off to get it back.

mario_sunny
Could you add what level Wilderness the Abyss itself is and what levels the PKers usually are? The abyss is not in the wilderness, it's another dimension infact. This is exactly what I thought at first and it was really the only main reason that I didn't try it out. Now I know, and I'm making a great 275k an hour. Pkers are usually level 70-120, you will rarely see any out of that range(except for the strange level 20s that hang around the mage for hours for some unexplained reason). I will add that to the guide, which I am planning to make into a complete abyssal guide. Thanks for the suggestion. :) Brain- That's a really bad idea, no offense. Not only is the backway slower(and you should only use it to trick pkers into thinking you hopped, sneak past them hehe), but wearing nothing is a very bad idea. Any type of pker will kill so you so fast you don't know what hit you. Hopping worlds is usually the last thing you should resort to when trying to get rid of pkers, it wastes time. You better have that cursor over your one click teleport(I hope you have one!) when your running to the mage incase of attacks. Most teleblockers will snare you first and then follow up with a teleblock. The second you get snared you should teleport away(I assume you bring a teleport!). I learned this the hard way. :| By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. -Devoted12-
This is a very nicely written blog with loads of pictures so even those people that don't like to read can understand. *coughs innocently while looking down at feet* The easiest way to avoid them though is suit up in armour and kill 'em. That'll teach 'em. :shame:
