stevepole
Today I've noticed a serious problem in this great game! Tons of monster are left to live happy and harm free lifes. Trolls left to live in there remote villages with the rare chance of seeing a harmful warrior. Mosses Giants are left to live on an island with pirates. monkeys left to roam the jungles, Black Knights allowed to live and control are dugeouns in massive numbers. fire giants, and dragons let free to roam massive dugeouns! This freedom of monster must come to an END! We players of runescape must take advantage of theses training spots! We need to STOP over crowding training spots and look to new less crowded spots to train. BECAUSE if we do you could be earning DOUBLE the XP! WOW, think about the time SAVED if everyone in runescape took and USED the WHOLE MAP to are advantage and control the Monster POPULATION! THe reason you would earn double the xp (at least in theory) is because you would be killing more monsters in less crowded areas then in massively populated areas where there could be 1.5 to 2 people per monsters in some areas. Go to places you've never been before, or gone to but for a few seconds for example when doing quest, lot of quest have you go through or by training spots that are rarely used. Us your slayer levels to help you find monster that are rarely used like the slayer caves.! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THESE GREAT TRAINING SPOTS BEFORE YOU WASTE ANOTHER SECOND OF WAITING!!! This highly important information was brought to you by Stevepole and remember only you can prevent happy monsters!
malo2
this is why jagex should stop releasing new servers and just wait untill the empty spots fill up. Lastfm
bacab
That's awesome. I want to hug you. But I won't hug you because you're name is steve and I have a brother named steve so that would be creepy. I'm probably not going to take this advice that much though. The only combat training I do is slayer so it's pretty much unchangeable if I'm training somewhere. And also, lotsa people kill certain things only for drops, not training. Like the Hopefuls fight the FGiants waiting for a red medium helmet. We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

saam007
isn't that the idea of slayer? "make" you train in all kind of places and all kind of monster? I train combat mostly with slayer and I find it fun. most of the time I got tasks that noone go there and not much people are there (usually I even alone there). I think people should tran combat and slayer together. true it isn't the best exp per hour u get (some times it is even bad exp per hour like steel dragon) but it is fun and make u go to diffrent places and get diffrent drops. the only bad thing is that your prayer stay way behind if u do slayer. (most of slayer tasks gives ashes at least for me) Visit my web-site http://www.saam007.com.Where you can find: Runescape Home Designer, Runescape Farming Tool, Runescape Sudoku Solver and how to pay membership while playing. And if you train your melee where you train monsters that are lower then you you can get a few lvls before you need to go to a bank/ but the time it takes to get to a location is about 2 mins at most which is time that you can spend waiting for monsters to spawn. if you don't want to take a few extra seconds to travel to a empty training spot its your waste. You could compare it to school work, the more you put into it the more you get out of it.
Deiophobus
Everyone knows about those kinds of spots, but most of the time, the over crowded ones are wayy more conveniant.
xvillexvalox
I trained my str, attack, and defense from mid 60s to 70+s purely on black knights in taverly, And I've also got over 3000 black knight kills I assume (I got to master after I got my first 70 in combat stats) \ Never anyone there, occasionally someone with a cannon, anouther 1 or 2 people there doesn't really matter though. by the way, lvl 89 and I still train there :

Blaze The Movie Fan
Great info, but let me tell you something what I do personally. I do go the best spot there monsters are. Most slayer monsters are only one one place. The brimhaven dungeon could be often crowded, but these dogs prevent it to be overcrowded. This was very intelligent post. I like it a lot. And I agree with it too.
hamgod316
Your absolutly right, I do exactly the same thing, though I seem to be on a cycle of blue drags, fire giants and harpies -.- I like blues and fire giants, I think theyre great xp and good rewards. I never got harpies, I don't want it either. :ohnoes: I used be in Brimhaven fighting the mossies because Ardy would always be crowded. It was pretty close to a bank because I would pay the 10gp and be taken to Shilo to use the bank there. Also, training at the hellhounds in Family Crest Dungeon is really slow, for faster xp, I use Taverly dungeon which is a little better. It's takes a little longer to get to but I can finish an assignment in less than an hour. - Affliction - 100 Combat - 9/15/06Merchant / Skiller

hamgod316
the full spots are mosdtly the best exp... or money... That's not true, all the time. Just use the two examples in my post. I get hellhound assignments from Duradel all the time and if I go to the Family Crest dungeon, I usually have to share the two hellhounds with someone else. If I go to Taverly Dungeon, I usually am the only one there and I can knock out an assignment without banking. - Affliction - 100 Combat - 9/15/06Merchant / Skiller
aj926
I'm sorry, but I don't agree with this post at all. If you can't take the overcrowding, there will always be more worlds for you, and if not, then wait/play until night time,w hen most runescapers go to bed. And come on, isn't it obvious to find new places to kill things on? Although there are a few points in which I agree on, mostly that the greatest spots to train on are underpopulated. However, this post was a tad bit generic. If not blue dragons, then where to? Suggest some spots, don't just tell people to leave where they are training. And the most populated spots are that way for a reason.
Smapla
How would you like it if someone came up to you, smacked you with a sword, and told you they were getting great experience while they killed your family? :uhh:

And the most populated spots are that way for a reason. I'm just try to point out to people that there are more places to train then the more popular areas to train. Those places only got popular because players would post their rare drops like dragon meds from the Fire Giants in the waterfall. So players that saw these post would assume that if they train there their going to get a dragon med too. Its like advertisement for that training spot. So other great training spots with the same monsters are left empty. I did suggest places in my post, I just didn't just come out and say them in a list because i felt that would of been lame to do.
