To remember what my resolution was past January

Get better grades. My grades are pretty bad (mostly C's) so I'm going to try to get better grades second semester. Luckily I have a few of my favorite (and easiest) class: English, history, and Adv. Drawing.

I hope to get my friends out of depression as best I can. I also hope to do better in Spanish.

I'm seriously considering making one to do my work as soon as I actually have time to do it. This term has basically been wasted: I've learnt a huge amount, but I've probably done badly in the exams.

I'm gonna read the Koran. And maybe the Bible too. But I already know a lot about the Bible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I'm gonna try to get a better work ethic, spend less time on the computer and doing other wastes of time (like this).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And try to get better at guitar and find a band.

Get good grades for my GCSE's and then hopefully get into New College.

 

 

 

Help around the house = Washing dishes/ironing .. etc. For my mother.

 

 

 

Make new better friends.

 

 

 

Get a job in my brother's friend's uncle's restaurant. ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30 a night ;D.

Finish my album, quit smoking (properly, no quick hand drags off friends that dont really count or so i keep telling myself), get built up and go have some more fun as i'll be 18 next year. \o/

Finish all my courses up properly so I don't have to carry over anything.

 

 

 

Improve my work ethic

 

 

 

Get a summer job

They are all realistic for once so I hope to keep them.

I don't make them, because making them is setting up to totally NOT do it, but I'd like to put the 30-ish pounds of muscle I had when I was 16 back onto my body. :P I lost most of it by being lazy...Waaa.

The first part of my New Years resolution is to think of one. Secondly is to remember it for over a couple weeks. It will probably just be like everyone elses'. Work ethic. Also finish up any college applications that I decide to send in.

Well, I believe I'll stay at 1600x1200, no changes for me :)

Finish German 9 before February, one more assignment and test left and get an average of 100+ for my bowling.

Although it isn't directed at me, I'll answer anyway. There are two reasons why people desire a partner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Flat out companionship

 

 

 

2. Status

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Type1 are those who are looking for a real relationship, not just a toy as Type2 is after.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And don't always assume it's a high school relationship. I'm pretty much looking for a partner and I'm effectively out of uni. Why? Because it's gotten to the point where I want to find someone I can settle down with.

Ugh off topic again sorry.. The reason I said high school relationship was because I know that he's like 13 or something like that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What you're saying is Erikson's like fourth stage of development or something like that, Intimacy vs Isolation.. Just learned that in psychology a couple weeks ago xD. I just wanted to say that mostly. But he's saying he "desperately needs" a girlfriend. I mean I probably wouldn't mind having a girlfriend either, but I'm not going to obsess over it.

I (the one who, unfortunatly, brought this whole thing up), was more refering to a specific person that I'm interested in...but then if things don't work out there (which they probably won't), I would like some sort of companion anyway. The next two years of school are going to be *extremely* difficult, and I would really like to have someone to talk to during them. Though I really doubt anything is gonna happen. People don't seem to like me for some reason. Except for like 1 or 2 friends.

Why promise to do something just because it's "new year"? Do stuff when you want to, because you wont live twice. Chances are, most people can't even keep their promises like "I will lose 20 pounds of weight" or "I'll travel around the world".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to stop smoking, stop it now, not so that you have an excuse to still smoke until the 31st of Dec 2006, and then again slip away. Commitments stay no matter what the year is.

I agree with Bluelancer, who needs a fancy date to accomplish goals. :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I hope to be more social and do even better at school. (Straight A's here except for a B in PD/H/PE, hoping for straight A's next year). :D

I'm going to start sporting again. And while I'm at it losing my beer belly a bit.
