terley
I know a lot of people here are probably still highschool students but even then I had a job, even though im pretty much freelance now and have a completely different job I do work. I was just wondering who works here? I worked as a kitchen porter cleaning dishes at a hotel throughout Highschool and left because over the years of working it turned out they were over paying me by like 50pence every hour.. It adds up.. something like a few grand I supposedly owed back, luckily I wasn't even under contract so I just walked haha. it was their fault, but then I was jobless.. im 17 and go to college atm doin graphic design and I never realised how far ahead at art I actually was then everyone else, not to sound bigheaded but I its really riduculus how much better I am, so atm im doing live projects, studying to be an animator im currently making a music video for a single which is gonna be released in Febuary, and will definately be played on MTV even if it doesn't catch on. But if you're into dance music you should love it. Before this i've done jobs for people I know, and one for a company, I save whatever money I get so im not exactly poor day-to-day.. But this current project will keep me happy for months. I'd love to know what you guys do.

Tigra00
I don't have a job at the moment, 'cause some butthole smashed into my car and their insurance company refuse to pay for it...So I have to sue them before I can get a new car, and thus, get to work. Thankfully I still live at home, so it's okay. :P The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me! BDave
I have been working in a pub full time since I left college. I had 2 years experience working part time whilst in my studies so it was a natural choice. I intend to go into I.T. full time as I have qualifications worth a HND and want my career to go down that route. I'm just enjoying pub work atm, but it wont be a long term job. Stuart_G
McDonalds. Not the greatest job in the world, but it gets me cash for what I want, and I do my job rather well, managed to get a Crew member of the month thing and an award for kitchen work at breakfast, which was voted on by all the other staff, so I must be doing something right. timmay929
Don't have one yet, only 15. Most people around here don't hire until 16. I turn 16 on the last day of school so it works out good. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
indy500fan
I've been at my current job for around two years. I'm part of a a grounds crew at a cemetery. I take care of the grass when it grows, set monuments, trim bushes, perform maintenance on the equipment, dig the holes for burials, and then handle the burial. Basically I am just a laborer. insane
I always work full-time during the summer (may-sept), usually greenhouse work or something simple like that. Never really had a job during the school year, but this next semester I'll be doing personal work for a professor (extremely part time) and (hopefully) be working as a TA. BlueLancer
I've worked as 1. Football coach (I refuse to call it soccer) for beginners 2. Normal office work like sorting reports and making excel tables/reading emails Other than that, I don't have tremendous wage-work experience :) Also.. In high school I tried a loaning business, but in the end I'd usually feel bad for reaping interest from loaning money to my friends (not so much from the people I didn't know), so I just quit that.
