Ah I have another story. My father told me this one about the house he grew up in. I'm sure he's told me this story more times than I can imagine :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before his parents moved into their house and old lady lived there. She died of natural causes (no murder or anything). So his parents moved in and as he grew up there, the old lady's ghost still lived there. She would open and close doors at random. And she wouldn't just open doors that could be pushed open, she would open doors that you had to turn the handle. My father said you could be walking down the hall and a door behind you would open/close or you could leave your door closed and come back a short time later and it would have opened (without any people going near it). I don't know how true the story is, but I thought it was interesting when he told me about it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yeah, I love that story, but when we go to Grandpa and Grandma's house, I always get a little creeped out when I got upstairs lol.

A few years back when I was still scared of ghosts I was in bed and I could hear this groaning drip drip sound. No matter how tightly i turned off the taps in the bathroom (its next to my bedroom) i could still hear it. It kept me up all night but I was able to co comfortably to sleep by putting my hand down the side of my bed and my dog would lick my hand. That made me feel better that I was not alone. Basically whenever i got scared in the night i would put my hand down and let my doggy lick my hand. Then one night must have been about 3am I heard this horrible moan sound following by this hard "drip drip" sound from the bath. I was really scared but put my hand down the side of the bed and got the comforting lick on my hand. I then soundly went to sleep. When I got up in the morning I went to go to the toilet and saw my dog dead in the bathtup with its neck cut, blood dripping out into the bath spelling the words "Ghosts can lick too!" arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

who knows the show supernatural well when i was watching it one night i look out side and saw this thing go across my backyard and every day from that night i hear my name and when no one is there :ohnoes: is the dead coming back to tell me something like in the ep of torchwood where a guy gets killed but his ghost lives on till he saves guen from dieing.... so i think that when some one dies what ever they were doing like going to see a loved one or something and they die along the way that when you die what ever you were doing when you die your ghost comes back to finish it kinda like unfinished things that you sometimes here about

Couple years ago, and old tv we had in the basement would randomly turn on by itself but not play any channels, just static, I would always get blamed for leaving it on (Thats where I would play my sega genesis).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One time after a week long vacation we came back and we went to the basement, carrying paintings down.(My dad's an artist, and we went on vacation because of an art show that my dad was invited to show his stuff at) My whole family was there and saw it, the tv turned on with the black-white static things across the screen :ohnoes: , my mom shreeked.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My dad quickly turned it off, and turned it back on again, and Judge Judy was playing normally on it. :-s

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We ended up moving the television, and it never did anything like that again. We had other things plugged into that outlet, but not directly infront of the outlet like the tv was, and they never turned on by themselves either.

My Grandparents have a really old house in La. One day they were telling me about the weird things they sometimes heard in their room (They were being serious btw...its not that hard to tell in their case :wink: )

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One thing they told me about was rattling door things. They had a wardrobe and it had metal dangling handles. They said sometimes they rattled at night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So basically the last night I was there I was asleep in there room( I got to sleep there w00t for me)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At around 1 'o clock i woke up....and what do you know...the handles are rattling. For about 2 minutes i was just frozen with fear. I tried to "grunt" just in case it was my mind making that noise...no sound will come out. Finally i shoot out with a defensive karate position :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I look at the handles and...they are moving...after that i just got back into bed and just thought about video games...i finally fell asleep

I really don't believe in ghosts at all. Call me ignorant or whatever, but listening to peoples stories, it just sounds ridiculous. I don't see why a ghost would appear in a really odd place (like a window or far away from the person), say the persons name then disappear. I mean, if I was a ghost I would sit down (if thats necessary) and talk to the people in the house, not just disappear a second after someone has saw me. What exactly do I have to hide?

i believe its energy.. that it takes alot of effort and energy to make a change enough to be seen for most people...

Some of these older models can be controlled without the use of a remote control by replicating certain noises and vibrations. Things like wireless routers or radios can affect old televisions. t may also be as simple as a malfunctioning TV, there are countless stories on the Internet of peoples TV turning off and on again on their own. Its certainly no ghost.

When it comes to Ghost stories and the background of the places in which it's happened, I've heard so many times that their has been a suicide in the area of the Ghost Sighting (or Hearing). So it's made me think about it, considering I do believe in a Spiritual World outside of our Physical World in which we live.

We have a wine cellar. It only locks from the inside, since it's a deadbolt lock. One day, my dad went to go get wine, and the door was locked. The only explination was that someone locked themselves in there. My dad called our names through the door, but we weren't in there. He called a locksmith, and they came and opened the door. My dad called my Aunt (She gets rid of ghosts, cleanses stuffs, sees the future, talks to dead relatives, etc.) She came to our house, from Arizona, and walked into the wine cellar. She began talking to a 'ghost'. Her name is Mary. She's like 9 yrs. old, I believe... She was sick. Her bedroom was downstairs, which is now the cellar. As you can tell... she died. Apparently, why she locks her 'bedroom' door is because her father would come into her room, and 'touch' her in certain places.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Aunt asked us if we wanted Mary to stay. We said sure, but we needed to set some rules. Which the first one was locking the door. When my Aunt told Mary, she said she didn't want to stay. She didn't like her father coming in, and wanted to pass on. My Aunt has got rid of many ghosts, and she let Mary go to the other side.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Aunt bought her house because there was like 10+ ghosts in there. Serial killer, suicides, old person dying, etc. The serial killer drove most of the suiciders to death. My Aunt fainted when she entered the house, but she fought through it, and rid of them. She can actually see them, which is scary. Whenever she walked into the suicider room, there would be one sitting there with a razor, or one hanging on a rope, on the ceiling, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whenever we lose stuff, we call her, and she tells us where they are. She also taught us how to get rid of all bad things in your mind. It's really cool! My Aunt also talks to a physic from the future.

I have a story, but it goes a little beyond ghosts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was a little kid, I think I just turned 9, and I was at a summer camp with a friend, the kind of camp where you actually live in a few houses in the forest. with a hundred-two hundred or so other kids. I have a sleeping problem where I always have trouble falling asleep. Even today, I'm just not tired when I go to bed, I always lie awake for a few hours thinking about random crap.

 

 

 

So I was at this camp, everyones asleep at night, and I'm awake as usual, then suddenly it starts to become very bright, my bed was right beside a window, and thats where the light was coming from. I looked outside, and saw that all the light was coming from a window of a nearby house. A few seconds later I realized it wasn't coming from the other house, it was being reflected off the window! I looked up and saw huge rays of light coming downwards from the sky, I couldn't see where it was coming from, just that it was coming from the top, from some sort of and object moving fast towards the direction I was looking. There was no noise whats so ever, nothing gut very bright lights coming down and lighting everything up. I tried to look up more but whatever was making the light went far ahead and behind the trees. Quiet as ever.

My dad died a few years ago. He had this gold eagle that is attached to a suction-cup that you stick on the window; when he died we kept this and now have it on our window in our new house. Often when my family talks about him, or my mother and step-father are in an argument - it falls off the window. I, personally do not believe in ghosts or anything of the sort. But one time, my cat knocked over a vase of roses that my father had given my mother her birthday before he died and just as it hit the floor and broke - the eagle on the window fell.
