Heres my idea:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Godly bag of sand

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

description: a large bag of sand that hangs over characters back

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

how it works: has 50 uses. One picks attack mode (accurate: sand in one direction; spread: sand throw over a large area, hits 2-4 targets costs 4 sand points; and burst: sand bursts out of ground)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The max hit is 60

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

yes..i know its uber

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It also comes with special attack...GRENADE SAND

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One just throws the whole freaking bag at target...hits for 80

I think this is turning into a little kid suggestion thread:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Let's make a super-rare weapon that is dropped 1/100,000,000. It will hit massive amounts (60+ every time) faster than a whip and have a special that automatically kills the opponent. It will only be dropped by a level 999 kalphite king that uses all three prayers and is also not weak to veracs. Oh yeah, *snicker* I get 100 of them and they disappear as soon as they touch the ground so nobody else can pk them from me"

Maybe they could make the Bowsword that had a glimpse at in Devious Minds. I wouldn't want some uber powered weapon, I want something that's unique.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remember, repairs are also only a measly little 360k.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Repairing the full set is actually 330k. Even less if you use an Armour Stand within your house. So...

Melee

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3rd Age Twin-Halberd - A Halberd that contains a blade on each end of it. The weapon has an unusually low strength, however each strike will automatically hit twice (without special). The Special Attack would double the power of both of these attacks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Range

 

 

 

3rd Age Boomerang - An unusual Range Weapon that returns to its thrower. The Boomerang is lined with metal blades to give it its power, and occasionally may fall short. In this case, the user must run out and reobtain it. This Boomerang contains power thought unimaginable before, being able to hit solid 30s when someone has a Range level in the high 90s. The Boomerang can also be used as a Melee Weapon, if desired.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's all I got in the line of potential 3rd Age weapons...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had similar idea too those, i thought of a twin blade sword, and a boomerang, but i thought for a boomerang, it wouldnt have ammo so it would require an upkeep of some sort which would be expensive for jagex to implement it, Karils x-bow needs ammo and upkeep!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The boomerang would actually work if it was a crystal item. That way it would have the upkeep needed, without the consumption of ammo; just like the crystal bow. Make it fast like the MSB, but it would have the degrading effect keeping it from becoming some kind of super weapon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also liked the "Falcon," and "Orb" idea. The orb could actually be like a container for certain runes, while giving a small magic boost. Maybe equivilant to the Guthix or Zamorak prayer book. You could enchant it with a certain amount of runes (that you have to provide), therefore freeing up inventory space. It could only hold so many though, like say between 1-5k (depending on the type of rune). It would also show up on the ground if you die, since it's really nothing more than a container.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Falcon should come from an egg, and you'd have to raise and train it to become a proper weapon. Maybe it wouldn't be so much a weapon as a "special attack" sorts. It would be worn on your shield slot, so it could only be used with single-handed weapons, but every now and then (like a Barrow's set-effect) the Falcon may fly from your arm and do damage to whatever you are attacking. In that sense it wouldn't need ammo, because it would be more like a random special-attack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I thought those were some very clever ideas, and just felt like elaborating on them further. I know it really has nothing to do with 3rd Age.

3rd age range weapon should be BLESSED ARBALEST.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

range bonus: 300

 

 

 

firing rate: once in 20 sec. only accurate and longrange options

 

 

 

bolts: arbalest bolts. player made of steel bars. 5 bolts of every bar. 3 feathers ea

 

 

 

damage: with 99 range up to 50 (crystal max is like 25. it has 100 range bonus). 2x damage vs undead

 

 

 

65 str and range required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can not be used in wildy or duel arena (because it's blessed).

id prefer then to release armor that doesnt degrade..330k every 15 hours is alot if your out meleeing stuff in dharok armor, your unlikely to just find 330k in drops in 15 hours, i mean ive spent 45 hours @ tzhaar without a drop i bet, but i did have other good drops from their to, however like @ nechryels rune boots every 2 hours is common i guess, i couldnt actually say specifically its good or bad, i usually time my rune boots out with the usage of a (4) super set.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

my point is, if your using it for the best exp(monster), you wont make your $ back, unless you pced... and then pcing in barrows armor is just dumb, theirs no point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i think the introduction of berserker armor would be fantastic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

they need to start releasing items with set effect. items that increase rage and critical hit and bloodlust all that garbage.

3rd age 2handed sword-(looks like clouds ultima sword only you drag it on the ground) extremly heavy hits way slower then regular 2 handed,used only for training

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

special is twirl- like the pirate on dynasty warriors where he sprints forward rushing enemies and hitting them with sword then at end does a twirl and hits enemies all around(hits every oponent like dragon mace either in 40S or nothing at all) :D

what weapons are often used in mideval combat? long sword/broad sword short swords and 2handed swords i dont recall vikings running around with a whip.

well the weapons today are so powerful that fights can barely last more than 20 seconds, if we add new super weapons it will put more luck into fighting rather than actual stragety. I think in addition to these new weapons we should add some sort of life boosting equipment, maybe change the onyx ring to +20 max health, and give onyx necklaces an enchantment of about +20 more max health.

I liked the idea of the 2 swords, 1 in each hand. Someone mentioned them on the 1st page. sacrificing speed for defence.

The staff should be able to switch from lunar to ancients.

i dont like that idea... i played this game where it got all complex and what they did with the combat system got messed up so, even if you hit double damage as the first person you could lose. the old version was like, you can just attack some1 and who ever hit the biggest # won.
