What in your opinion is the most respected 99?

I'd probably say;

99 Runecrafting for the hours put into it.

99 Construction for the money put into it.

99 Mining for the dedication and hours put into it.

99 Herblore is pretty high up on my respect list too.

Slayer or prayer personally, perhaps not prayer as much now since PC is out. But definately slayer. It takes 52,000,000 regular combat experience to achieve 99 slayer. That's pretty impressive.

I'd also like to a see a untrimmed slayer cape.

It think even our search button is up to finding an exact copy of this thread.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Mining, RuneCraft, Farming, Agility, Hunter. Skills you cant buy first. Following that group is Prayer, Herblaw, Crafting.

top 5 in my opinion:

agility first in my opinion, as there's only around 1k people with 84 agility, and there's no way to buy ur way to 99, and it takes a lot longer than hunting (1 month easily to 99) and you have to have persistence thru the boredom

mining i think would come second as it's also another skill u can't buy to 99, it would take a very long time to get to unless powermining granite or iron ore

runecrafting would prolly be 3rd, u can buy ur way to 99 by buying all the rune ess needed and having runners to make it a lot faster, which in my opinion, is respectable because of the time factor, but i still think it isn't as much effort as agility or mining

farming/herblore would probably be 4th because herblore is a LOT of potions to make to get to 99, and farming takes FOREVER to get up

smithing i think would be 5th because it may be easy for the rich people that can afford all the material for 99, but even if u have the materials for 99, it would still take a very long time to get there

yeah if any of you know druminator17(yes he's a tifer check out his blog) his future goal is a slayer cape untrimmed so far he's 86 slayer at 107 combat

so either slayer or farming would be the 2 hardest capes to get

RuneCrafting and Slayer, no contest.

RC for the simple fact that, even though you can buy your way through (Which is over 120M from 60) using FFL, even then it is some of the slowest exp in the game.

Slayer, simply put, is a pain in the rear. With the amazingly low amount of exp per hour that you get slaying, 99 Slayer is a real feat.

Not really someone made a new account and it is his aim to do just that. He calculated that hell have to get about 25% of his xp with a cannon.

All that effort for somethingbarely noticeable tho :-P. A true slayer lover!

I don't respect those with 99 construction at all.

those are just the people with unbelievable amounts of money who are just hording 99 skills and probably don't even like it. They likely just raised it to 99 and moved on just to have a high total (generally speaking) Of course there are probably SOME wealthy people who actually enjoy construction and have 99...but I'm be pretty skeptical of why most of those with 99 construction have it.

you're lying to yourself if you think those who horde 99s are legitimately interested in all of them ;)

Most of those people defined their goal with an end result, achieving 99...but that isn't the point at all....

i'm not hating on them, but why would i respect them for getting 99 in a skill most of them don't even care about :?:

Those with 89 construction are probably infinitely more interested in the skill than those with 99 and simply lack the means to take the skill further...backwards, isnt it? -.-

100 Combat

91 Strength

70 Defense

82 Attack

85 Magic =)
