February 1, 200719 yr Seeing as USA today is close to 100% liberal.. I wouldn't take it seriously I'm fascinated to see how you explain the 51% that voted for Bush. But no, I don't think the US will invade Iran. It would never get Congressional approval, and the US simply doesn't have the troops.
February 1, 200719 yr It's not allowed to say if you're attacking a place on the internet. It appears there could be 'spies anywheree.' KnightLite, you are totally wrong. Dont even think almost 100% US is liberals. Meh. The liberals have no real reason to live in America anyways. If they dont like bush, we dont care. If you dont like america then ge out! Yer enemy

Maybe i'm wrong, but he could have been talking about that. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

February 1, 200719 yr recently a group of high profile organized attacks have been carried in Iraq. Do to the nature of these it is starting to apear as if Iran is getting more involved with the war and the USA goverment is calling for a stop of this (like that is going to happen) we can't attack Iran though, we are already extremely stretched out on our troops :? Yeah I don't think there is much of a chance something like this could get passed -- at all. We had a "reason" to go to war with iraq. (if its jusitifed isn't up to this thread, but there was a reason) I don't see anything like that for iran.

February 1, 200719 yr You realize that they are saying that we will crack down on Iranian agents in Iraq. We aren't going to actually invade the country. That would be the most futile and destructive war waged in decades. If Iran wants war, we are going to let them start it. We can kill their troops in Iraq because those men are illegally in the country engaging in acts of war. They declare war on criminal grounds, then a coalition can join to fight them without any sort of controversy. It's Iran's war to begin. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. But no, I don't think the US will invade Iran. It would never get Congressional approval, and the US simply doesn't have the troops. Lol.. You think his approval rating is still that high? You're right, I was being foolish. Let me rephrase that. How do you explain the 31%, AT THIS POINT, that still approve of him? My point is that America is nowhere near liberal right now. If anything over the past few years it's been drifting to the right.

Not the nation. And there would be me being foolish yet again. That's a statement I can accept. I was taken aback that anyone could think that America as a country was liberal. So many people on this forum use bad grammar I didn't even catch that.
February 1, 200719 yr And there would be me being foolish yet again. Hah, no problem. It happens :P Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
February 1, 200719 yr Hah, no problem. It happens :P Wow, havent seen you in a while. No, I dont think we will invade Iran. After the failure in Iraq, I dont think this would even be a consideration. Plus it has to pass a democratic majority in both houses. Not happening.
February 1, 200719 yr Author Plus it has to pass a democratic majority in both houses. Not happening. Many democrats voted for the war in Iraq. It's possible that a claim by George about weapons of mass destruction or Iranian involvement in some kind of terror plot could convince even staunch anti-war democrats. If George Bush could convince the congress to approve a war in Iraq because of weapons of mass destruction, that the US sold to him and taught him how to use, then he could probably convince the congress that Iran is a genuine threat.
February 1, 200719 yr Bush has surprised everyone by doing the unexpected throughout his political career. Is it possible that an attack against Iran would ever be approved by congress? It's not going to happen. After the immense unpopularity of his war in Iraq, he doesn't have a chance.
February 1, 200719 yr I have my doubts, they have quite a few countries sided with them. Plus Iran would most likely become more of a liability to the US. But who knows, with Bush in charge anything couild happen. :uhh: :ohnoes: http://www.draynor.net/code/bar/Noobin\Please join my very new up and coming forumshttp://s3.freepowerboards.com/runeboards Feel free to AIM or MSNM me anytime

The democratic senators for president speeches are all revolved around "voting for this war was a mistake" and "lets clean it up and get out of there".
