I chose the Saradomin because I needed something white to go with my white costume thingy. (Magic skillcape, white magic staff, Holy Book, magic hood, druid robe top & bottom, cooking gauntlets, and white mystic boots)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But the Zamorak gives good bonuses to melee attack (+8).

I picked Zamorak for the +8 all attack bonuses (No obsidian shields or rune defenders at that time), then for rcing I finished my sara book (had 400k in the bank collecting dust) Then while treasure trailing a bit back I finished my Guthix book.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But for overall stats, the book of Zamorak is the best: I like it while maging, because I'm too cheap to spring for a mage's book :D

Zammy was my first as well.. Wanted the extra attack bonus. I have them all filled now, though.

I picked Guthix when the quest came out. Had no clue there was any difference between the books because it had just come out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have all 3 now though.

I picked sara. I'm a sara follower, and it gives defence bonuses, great as a shield. Plus its good mage bonus, second best mage shield in game, and has a nice prayer bonus. And I already had a sara page from a clue, so I decided to save cash and take sara.

Sara, 'cause I follow him. Also, the def bonus is pretty sweet. :thumbsup:

Guthix, and sara, both at once, had both sets on me at same time :XD:

I picked zamarok, though I am a follower of Guthix.

 

 

 

I picked it, as I will only use it in an agresive way. I have more use for extra Attack, instead of extra defense.. And guthix still is my favorite.

Zammy, the only useful one. I now have the other ones full also because selling those pages is a pain :P .

Zammy for the attack bonus. This was way before defenders were released, mind you. I think it was even before obsidian shields... but anyway, when obby shields came out I used those, and when defenders came out I used those. The only one I use anymore is my sara book for defense while RCing.

Guthix. Because I like the god and I like balanced items. :

I picked sara as i had the sara staff and cape beforehand. I like saradomin, i picked him as my favourite god when i first had a chance, i like the whiteness of it all..

Even though I'm too lazy to do the quest, I would definately pick Guthix...

i chose guthix because it could bless all the symbols (very important at time :lol:) and because thats the one the guy gave me

there are magic books for that now =)

i can guarentee you that most runescape players get the books for the following reasons:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

guthix: not enough $ for zammy, or likes how its even

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

zammy: has highest attack bonus, so its considered the best

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

sara: looks cool, or thought that it would be good for them instead of a sheild

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

me myself, chose guthix when i first completed the quest, cause it was cheapest (i was poor)

Saradomin, gives a nice defense bonus :)
