Nadril
Wish I could get my helm enchant without having to run heroics / do dailies... sigh. I sidestepped the stupid shoulder enchant by leveling inscription... don't think I can sidestep the helm. It's not a huge deal but it would be nice to have :/. Ended up leaving a heroic dungeon early (after waiting 45 mins for queue) because they're just so...boring. Really makes me wish that they'd let you do some more things through PvP instead of having to fight scripted bad guys.
meb
You can gain rep in normal dungeons. Most people are stupid in wow but it doesn't matter as much in normals as it does in heroics. And doing your zone quests puts you like halfway revered. Just be glad your helm enchant faction has dailies, I had to run dungeons. Then again I only PvE and got exalted with every Cataclysm faction 2 weeks ago  . Orgrimmar and Trolls at exalted, halfway with goblins now as well. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. I just think it would be nice to have multiple ways to get stuff. Even if it was a "PvP oriented" enchant would just be nice to get without having to run boring PvE content lol. Honestly as odd as it is only "PvE" I really like is leveling can be kind of fun. Leveling a feral druid atm.
Giordano
I've made a dwarf mage alt in a PvP server. So we'll see how that goes. To avoid double posting: Okay this is seriously ticking me off. Whenever I'm flying (flight paths) off to somewhere and I have WoW minimized I get disconnected. Anyone else has this issue? Whenever I'm flying (flight paths) off to somewhere and I have WoW minimized I get disconnected. Anyone else has this issue?Happened to me since patch 4.0.1. It happens because your computer can't handle loading the WoW world while it's in the background. If you look at WoW seconds before it disconnects, you would see that the textures aren't loaded up, and you can't see water.
Giordano
Ah, yes that makes sense. I've always been noticing data loading late. I figured it was Blizzards new way of loading the game. Thanks. Nadril
Try windowed mode? I quit a few days ago, wasn't playing at all. Not a rage quit for once, more of a "man this is really boring now" quit.
DarkDude
Yeah, end game cataclysm is really boring for me. Not even touched raids and have no incentive to. I'll probably unsubscribe and maybe start up again after 4.1 depending on what that brings.

I'll probably unsubscribe and maybe start up again after 4.1 depending on what that brings. For me the PvP feels more bland than ever. Like, it feels fairly balanced but it's just so...boring now. It's not like how it used to be where there were a bunch of viable strats and stuff, its pretty much just a combo between C/C and mass damage. The leveling experience was the best the game has had by far but beyond that kind of boring.
DarkDude
Levelling was awesome, that's why I already have 2 85s just because I really really enjoyed 80-85.
Giordano
On my dwarf mage, I just loved how they re-did Dun Morogh...or rather, updated it. Right now I'm questing in Southern Barrens and it's all new stuff. Did anyone quest in Uldum? Was there any other quests besides the Harrison Jones ones? Just seemed really short. But the German-Nazi puns were AWESOME. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." But the German-Nazi puns were AWESOME.Harrison Jones questline is more of a pun to Indiana Jones than Nazis (although Indy did have Nazis in it... I think...). The other main storyline is the one with the Ramkahen versus Neferset. To keep this topic alive and bursting with life, what are your favourite zones you've seen in WoW, now that you've had a taste of the new zones? Personally: 5. Hellfire Peninsula (I still love that feeling when you go through the dark portal, and you see raging infernals backed by a gigantic Pit Lord duking it out against the Alliance and Horde. Fel reavers were a nice surprise too.)4. Uldum (Harrison Jones had me laughing till the end. I thought he was awesome, till I found out where Brann has been, and his "escort" quest)3. Westfall (Girl without pants wanting revenge. Me want. CSI references. Me want. Hobo stew? ME WANT!)2. Redridge (Rambo was awesome. The quests here are epic in proportion because they feel like you are on a mission)1. Silverpine Forest (It felt like a war, and it was nice to see Sylvanas and Garrosh going out for some fresh air once in a while. Really enjoyed Sylvanas being called a [bleep], too.) Nadril
Um, probably not in too much of an order Vash'jir: actually a good, centralized storyline across the zone. Travel wasn't bad once you got the underwater mount.[/b] Western Plaguelands: I liked the snipit of the war still going on there and them clearing out the rest of the scourge. Plus Zinkiki the [developmentally delayed]ed troll[/b] Hyjal: The other starter @80 zone but it had some really good progression through the zone as well. Interesting story. Eastern Plaguelands: Probably my favorite now from leveling. This is what a lot of the leveling zones needed to do, have this really interesting story with reoccurring characters in the zone. And I guess for a 5th the Worgen starter zone was pretty good. Seriously though its too bad Blizzard couldn't take what they had going for them with the new leveling to make a more interesting game once you hit the cap. They really made leveling a lot more interesting (at least once or twice through, even though 60-80 really sucks now) but PvP and stuff is as boring as ever. Also didn't even have enough interest in PvE to really do, well, anything.
obfuscator
Well my sub runs out today....gotta agree with Nadril that leveling was the best part, although heroics were nicely challenging. I never really pvp'd before cata so I can't really comment on that though. Both were funny though. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."

EarthySun
Does anyone else here play a hunter in PvP? I'm so dismayed by how they've turned out this expansion. I mean, really, couldn't we get buffed just a little? I miss the WotLK hunter style so much that I'm thinking of joining a private server. If hunters aren't fixed by 4.1, and I mean genuinely fixed, then I'm going to have to quit WoW. So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son. obfuscator
Yeah hunters are pretty bad in pvp. I don't know what they were like in Wrath, however. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
EarthySun
Yeah hunters are pretty bad in pvp. I don't know what they were like in Wrath, however. We were at something like 7% Arena representation in 3v3, in S6-S8. Now we're at 1.5-3%, depending on what rating (obviously the rep gets lower the higher the rating). Back in WotLK, we could disarm, drain mana, kite, do very good burst, and actually avoid incoming damage. Nowadays, we have Focus, which is an awful, broken mechanic in itself. We cast more than casters, have an extremely slow resource regeneration (that is tied to a casted shot that's canceled from LoS or someone getting to close), and have very little mobility because Master's Call is now dispellable. Oh, and we're all at sub-5% Dodge because of a substantial Dodge nerf that we took this expansion, and no self heals -- so we have effectively the least survivability in the game. TL;DR - Hunters have crap damage and survivability, and when you face an enemy, you hope they're really, really bad. So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son. EarthySun
Just play phd and get carried. Master's Call is dispellable now, probably because of DK's getting Death's Advance. Also, it's far superior to choose a warlock over a hunter for DK / Healer / DPS. And the best comp for hunters at the moment is Ret/MM/Disc, I believe, simply because the Ret and Disc priest carry the hunter. Both Ret and Disc are a little much at the moment, especially Ret. So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son.
meb
6/12 now, sunday we're going to do the ascendant council. Then we're extending the lockout to get some tries on cho'gal  .
