It's really one of those games that just never seems to lose it's relevance. The graphics don't seem bad, they just seem low res. Freesia Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 Though i only played pvm in diablo, i enjoyed the graphics. I totally hate catacombs... Long, dark, scary and deep. However though, most the bosses looked awesome on normal mode. The colour changes in nightmare and hell, most looks ugly but some ok. There's a thrill in hell difficulty where you never knew when you will find a boss monsters which seems impossible to kill. Flayer shaman with conviction ftl? :? Diablo was more atmospheric and dark. But Diablo 2 had a lot more content. Both were still fun though. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug. It's been going on for over three years, so the shop characters have a huge selection we all share. D1 is a scary game if you aren't even supposed to play it (under 15 but geez, you were 10) For a game that was made in 2000, it's an extremely well made game. I remember my cousin saying "I don't want to play this game". Why? "After I entered the catacombs I just turned off the pc cuz I wet my pants" :lol: It's a good RPG. I've started a new one, dumping every available skillpoint in Firestorm, a level 1 skill that only costs 4 mana to use, and I'm dealing 150+ fire damage per second at the beginning of act 2... I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I checked it out on single player, but didn't shut it off when I went on B.Net.. Next day my account was banned :( But I did play through it again a couple years after 1.10 came out, and played through with a Paladin. (Never liked them for some reason, but now I do.)
