March 13, 200719 yr Me and my bro LAN'ed our way through the entire Diablo 1 just this past summer. It's really one of those games that just never seems to lose it's relevance. The graphics don't seem bad, they just seem low res. And it is remarkably creepy, because there's some actual danger (if D2 took more skill and had harder enemies, it would be scary too).
March 13, 200719 yr Though i only played pvm in diablo, i enjoyed the graphics. I totally hate catacombs... Long, dark, scary and deep. However though, most the bosses looked awesome on normal mode. The colour changes in nightmare and hell, most looks ugly but some ok. There's a thrill in hell difficulty where you never knew when you will find a boss monsters which seems impossible to kill. Flayer shaman with conviction ftl? :? Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Lol I must have spent like 10 hours on the demo where you could only play a warrior XD. One of my warriors I made I put all points into int and made him a spell caster LOL. Than I finaly ended up getting the full game >_>.
March 14, 200719 yr i still play, the PvP is alright, although with 1.11 enigmas prettymuch was necessary to PK and no, there are no hacks that allow people to make any item they want. there was a duping problem, but that was fixed, pretty recently actually.
March 20, 200719 yr Yeah I remember the butcher in the origional, scariest boss ever. :shock: AH! FRESH MEAT! :D I have played both Diablos'. Diablo was more atmospheric and dark. But Diablo 2 had a lot more content. Both were still fun though. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

March 21, 200719 yr We still play 1.10 a lot on the network at my student society. It's installed on every computer in the computer room. It's been going on for over three years, so the shop characters have a huge selection we all share. March 21, 200719 yr Is The Butcher in Diablo 1 too? Crap, and i tought he was scary in D2 :XD: But Diablo 2 LOD is just awesome because of the HUGE amount of items. And i really like to Co-op trough the game.
March 22, 200719 yr Haha yeh, I hated the spiders in the catacombs on Act 1 :anxious: Baal also scared me a bit in the cinematics part :uhh: I was talking about the original Diablo. =P Diablo 2 was an epic failure in the horror department, as far as I'm concerned. D1 is a scary game if you aren't even supposed to play it (under 15 but geez, you were 10) For a game that was made in 2000, it's an extremely well made game. I remember my cousin saying "I don't want to play this game". Why? "After I entered the catacombs I just turned off the pc cuz I wet my pants" :lol: It's a good RPG.

As for Diablo II, have druids always been this cheap? I've started a new one, dumping every available skillpoint in Firestorm, a level 1 skill that only costs 4 mana to use, and I'm dealing 150+ fire damage per second at the beginning of act 2... June 5, 200719 yr I used to play Diablo 2 all the time until my account got banned for map hacking. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I checked it out on single player, but didn't shut it off when I went on B.Net.. Next day my account was banned :( But I did play through it again a couple years after 1.10 came out, and played through with a Paladin. (Never liked them for some reason, but now I do.)

I went to look for the game again so that I could download and decided to check back up on this topic. June 10, 200719 yr oh man i remember when i was about 8 (may be 9) i got my first diablo, when it got too scary i turned off the pc. took me three times pc turning off to kill the butches. FRESH MEAT, anyone? and ibeat the II one and the expansion set. what's this online thing u are talking about? is it online now?
