I'd have to say Origa (for any GITS peeps) and Evanescence are great to listen to while on the comp :) .

Naive and She Moves In Her Own Ways really, remind me of RS because i used to have about 10 songs on my comp when i played loads and i would listen to the same 10 over and over again, those are the 2 i still like and every time i hear them it reminds me of RS.

Newbie melody, Garden, Medieval, Fanfare ect.

Oh and most third party music doesn't go with it if it has vocals more complex than the old choir singing non-word notes.

Robbie Williams-Tripping reminds me of walking around Runescape every time I hear it.

And the relaxing music is anything beach/surfer type music. Like Jack Johnson or Pete Murray

The music from the trial version of Age of Empires 3. The music that plays when you're being swarmed by something in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. The music that plays when you race Samurai Goroh in story mode in F-Zero GX. For a while, I didn't know how to get rs music since it was unavailable on Firefox so I ended up making musical associations.

Age of Empires 3 - general skilling or the wilderness

Paper Mario - running through mort myre swamp

F-Zero - the city of varrock and my smithing circuit at the time

Later I found out that rs music was available on IE <3:. So for a while I switched to that with Overture being the first song I heard. Now it's availabe on Firefox and my favorite songs to listen to are:

Temple of Light, Warrior's Guild, We Are The Faries, Waterfall, Volcanic Vikings, Understanding, Background, Overture, and Garden of Summer

Our family would go upnorth every weekend and all we had for a CD in there was Tim Mcgraw :wall: And well since I played rs alot in the summer they kinda go together.

SOAD's (System of a Down) self-entitled album and Toxicity take me way, way back.

That along with Paranoid by Black Sabbath.... I listened to those three albums for ages.

I was just thinking about this a day or two ago. Didn't think of posting a topic on it though... :-k

anyway, the song "Sieze the Day" by Avenged Sevenfold reminds me of the tree gnome village. I was reading the forums or something, while keeping my character logged in. I guess I was on Avenged Sevenfold when I clicked repeat, and the song repeated like 6 times before i noticed it.

Classical and Rock works for me.

Classical:

Mozart's works like the requiem.

Antonio Vivaldi's compossisions like the four seasons and gloria.

Some Giusepee Verdi because it owns.

Wagner and Liszt too.

Rock:

Mago de Oz (You must hear this spanish rock band)

My Chemical Romance (It ows)

Queen (Lol, very nice.)

Btw for the person who can't remember who sings "She Hates Me" it's Puddle of Mudd

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.

Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,

that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee,

and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.

It's weird, i was just thinking about this. I was in lumbridge killing goblins after i burthorped a task and my dad told me to turn off my music because he was doing something. So i got bored of no sound and decided to turn on the old runescape music. It had been more than one year since I had heard any of it last, (I kid you not) it sorta did bring out the nostalgia for the good old days. I'm sure lots of you remember killing goblins for hours on end, eager to get that next level up and wondering what the heck a brass necklace was for. Ahh, those were the days, back before like was complicated by pking, cw, pc, kqing, kbding, dking, etc, etc.

As for actual music, I used to really like billy talent back in junior high (almost 4 years ago) so thats one, also smells like teen spirit by nirvana. (ironic because i stopped listening to it when i turned 13)

"Dirty Little Secret" by The All-American Rejects reminds me of some hardcore training at Shadow Warriors, and later when Experiments were released. Also "Be Yourself" by Audioslave was really good for high risk situations because it really calmed me down and let me think straight instead of frantically clicking anything and everything.

It's a blend of all sorts of GOOD hip-hop/rap artists. It's mostly stuff from The Wu-Tang Clan, but I also listen to Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Eminem, The Game, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, etc. There's lots of other artists, but I'd say those are my main ones. The artist I'm listening to really depends on what I'm doing.

SOAD: Chop Suey!

Ah! Metal always reminds me of just walking around in RSC or early RS2.

I noticed you like listening to viking metal, try out Amon Amarth, they're a mixture of death and viking. :P

I used to listen exclusively to music in my freeplay days, so whenever I venture into those areas I turn on my music. I'm always in tune with music (excuse the pun #-o ), so each song brings back different memories.

If I ever listen to music by recording artists, it's usually U2, Muse or RHCP.
