Well my family just got into a car accident because some idiot rear-ended us while talking on their cellphone. They better pay for ALL damages or I'm going to be pissed! I am lucky I'm alive since I was in the back and no airbag  I hurt my knee :notalk:

It just pisses me off that people don't know how to drive and PUT THE FOOT ON THE BREAK!!!!!!!! Ah, so mad right now!!

2x once i was pulling into a parking spot, and this car pulled right out, didn't see me. They payed for damages. The other one was my fault, I didn't stop quick enough because my car slid a bit since it was very bad weather. It wasn't big, their rear bumper had no damages, and my bumper had a minor crack.

My mom has been in a few, only one was her fault (she was in a hurry, it was nothing serious). But she has been ran into just stading at a red light, and some other stupid ones.

Want to hear the most pathetic accident ever?

1) Go up to stop light, try and turn left.

2) Pull up to intercection.

3) Become distracted, miss turn.

4) Reverse back for next chance to turn (curtious man behind me).

5) Of course, you guessed it, leave the car in reverse. It was a bumper hit, but it was my first one ever, so I felt pretty bad  :-# :wall: . Eh, it was in my first 10 hours of driving, so I got over it.

I've been in a few. On my first day of first grade, some lady in a truck hit us while my mom was driving. :( It scared the bejeesus out of me cuz my dad always used to make me watch those 911 shows in which they bring people into the Emergency Room after their car just exploded in wreck. :S It was very scary for me at that age. But, anyway, it was the lady's fault and she tried to split. I've never seen my mom get that mad at total stranger before. :D

The rest have just been minor fender benders. :P

Once when I was real little, I was riding the bus home when some guy ran a stop sign and t-boned the bus. All the kids on the bus were ok, but I don't know about the car driver. They made us get on a different bus and we all went home.

I was in a minor car accident with my sister a few months ago on a rainy day. On the way to school, there is an intersection. There were three lanes, two going straight and one that broke off into a right turn. The two lanes going straight had one stop light, and the right lane had another stop light The right turn lane had a "No turn on red" sign. The person in front of us (who happened to go to our school) had a huge truck. And the person in front of him, was new to the area.

We were all in the right hand lane. The lady in front was in the middle of the intersection, saw the OTHER light (the one for the straight lanes) turn red, and therefore slammed on her breaks. My sister and I didn't see her slam on her breaks because our car is small and the truck in front of us completely blocked our view of the lady's car. All we saw was the green light for our lane. So the person in front of us, who was mildly paying attention to the lady, slammed on his breaks at the last minute and rear-ended her. My sister slammed on the breaks as soon as she saw him stopping, but a combination of last minute stopping and rain is not good. His truck was so large, that our car went UNDER his bumper and rear-ended him there.

It was one big rear-ended mess -.-

Never been in one more major than backing up into another car.

But almost was in a large one. One day I was in a small car on the left lane of an interstate highway. A gigantic semi truck was to the right of us when it decided to change lanes. No choice but to go to the left off of the highway lanes (but still on pavement), or get slammed by the semi. My dad got a ticket but went to court and got the ticket invoid.

Me and my dad were at a resturant drive through, and some girl hit us when we were stopped. Turns out that she was 15- still on a permit. So when the police were called- the officer didn't charge her with anything and wanted her and my dad to "work it out" . Caused ~$500 in damage

My mom got into an accident when I was a baby, but I, of course, don't remember it...

And, some old fart loser hit me in October and totalled my car. The story is posted here on tip.it already, and so far I've received no money for it. His insurance company is screwing me because the intersection had no signs at all, yet their client hit me when I was 3/4 the way through AND I was on the main street, thus had the right of way.

I'm about to e-mail State Farm, greatly bloating the readership base of my website saying that I will write about their horribleness, etc etc, and hopefully they'll figure that the $4k they owe me is worth more than losing customers. Afterall, their damn CEO makes more than that per day. I think they can part with it, what with their 48 billion dollar profits and all.

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

O.k, well me and my family were driving down to Florida and we had just left the motel that we had stayed the night at and were heading back on to the highway. We were in Kentucky, by the way. My mom decided she will drive for a while as my step-father was pretty tired. So they pull over and switch seats, everything goes good for a while until we come up to a turn which was on the edge of a big hill, as we approach the turn an 18-wheeler comes up beside us and our trailer starts swaying and my mom freaks out. On one side of us is a 18-wheeler, and on the other a guard-rail blocking the edge of the cliff. Our trailer hits the guard rail, spins back around and hits the side of our truck and we spin out into the middle of the highway.

i was in a bus accident a few years ago (i was driving it)

was going along a duel carriageway at 40mph, and some idiot came from the other direstion, lost control of his car as he was speeding, and it was wet.

went across both of his lanes, the path and onto my side of the road and smashed into my bus.

bus was a write off, and i damaged my stomach, wrist and both shoulders.

have been off work for 4 years (last year i have been fit, but no one will give me a job as i am slightly disabled in one of my shoulders still)

i get justice tho as he was banned from driving for 12 months.

one bad thing was that i lost my job, as i was unable to drive for over 2 years after.

My fault (according to insurance companies)

About a week after passing my test i was driving into my town centre down the steep hill and the car in front slams on the brakes because he sees a parking space on the side of the road and turns without indicating so I pranged into the back of him.

A few years later after Glastonbury festival when I was tired and really drained I was indicating to turn from a main road into a side road. The road ahead was clear but there was also a tiny little side road. A van came out of the junction and obscured my view but because id seen the road ahead clear i turned . Unfortunately into the path of the car that had just come out the side road. I broke in time but he didn't and drove right into the front of my car. Alas because i was on his side of the road it was classed as being my fault. pfffffffft

Definitely 100% not my fault

When I was about 16 and was coming home from college in a taxi which basically just drove at about 30mph right into the back of a car park on the side of the road lol

After I got my first car fixed (that was in the first accident i mentioned) I was parked at a junction to a main road on a rainy day waiting for a clear road to pull out onto. The car behind me came up to the junction a bit too fast and crashed right into the back of me.

Last year my sister reversed out of a parking space right into another car after we went to get a Chinese takeaway. Oops

Lastly, only a few months ago someone drove into the side of my 206 and drove away.

And...

...one which I didn't mention before was when I was in an Airbus A300 on a flight from Edinburgh to Bristol and the plan crashed into one of those mobile stairs trucks when it was taxiing. lol

I was riding my bike down the main street in my village to go to the shop. So I hit about halfway down the hill and I see a guy driving pretty strangely so I slow down to avoid him. He then accelerates to 50 mph and smashes into me head on. My head goes through his windscreen, but the momentum of his car twists my body and one of my legs knocks off his wing mirror, then my head comes out of his windscreen, pulling glass into my forehead and (somehow) into the back of my neck. My bike flies up and pulls me over the back of his car, as my legs are still clinging on for dear life due to some reflex action. Throughout this whole ordeal my eyes somehow never leave the drivers, I'm literally staring him right in the eyes as he as near as kills me.

At least, that's a version that I have managed to string together from some eye-witness accounts, and what the guy who hit me said. I can't remember the actual crash, or a few days before it, but I remember the part after.

He was drunk still from the night before, and had decided to drive whilst talking on his mobile and had hit me due to not concentrating/being drunk. caused $6000 of damage to his car, and he lost his licence.

Best part of the story? I was completely fine when I landed at the back of his car. I pulled the glass out of my neck and forehead, popped my dislocated knee back in and then asked him what had happened. Then I passed out and woke up in an ambulance. I called the ambulance men alot of very undesireable things for putting me in a neck brace when I was obviously fine, tried to sit up and walk out of the ambulance WHILE IT WAS MOVING.

They took me in to hospital and checked me over. Then they let me go because I was fine and I had to get the bus home.

Worst part of the story? The bus cost me ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1.80!

I have not been in an actual car crash but I was the victim of a hit and run accident when I was 4.

My mother was standing on the kerb holding my hand and carrying my younger sister waiting to cross the road. A car mounted the pavement and took me with it :-( he/she then reversed to 'shake me off' their bumper & drove off leaving me for dead laying in the middle of the road. I was rushed to hospital and obviously survived to tell the tale. They were never caught or came forward.

I've never really been in a driving accident. Though I was driving home from Tesco's the other day and as I was just leaving the carpark an idiot crashed into the back of me, with only a bit of damage though

Once when I was 9 years old or something, some drunken idiot on a motorcycle hit the side of our car with a speed of ~120 Km/H (don't know what that is in miles, something like 80). He had a piece of his motorcycle stuck in his leg  We were allright though.

I've been in 2 car accidents in my life. One I was driving, the other, my mother was driving.

Eh, the one with me driving, wasnt serious at all. Traffic got backed up on the road from my school, the person in front of me slammed on brakes, I slammed on brakes, but the person behind me was'nt quick enough, and crashed into the back of my car. My neck and back hurt for a few days, no biggie.

The crash with my mother was alot more serious. I was I think 3 at the time (Therefore, most of the story was told to me when I was a bit older). It was raining heavily, and my mother was about to pull over and stop to let the rain calm down, when another driver came over into our lane, and hit us head on. It pretty much destroyed our car. My moms foot was almost severed off, and she's had to have surgery around 20 times since the accident. My sister and I had bruised faces from hitting the seats in front of us, and the seatbelts cut us pretty bad on our abdomens. I believe we were in the hospital a week or so (my mother was there for...a while, maybe 2-3 weeks).

Poor little 206. :(

A stupid cow reversed into the front of mine. We were going down a one-way street when she decided to reverse into one of the loading bays that you aren't meant to park in. Anyway, she totally misjudged it and went into my 3 month old 206. I cried.
