deangut Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 Well... Some of this community might know that the German World is now out of Beta and is open for most people to play. The down side is that EVERYTHING is in German (DUH!) and you have to play the game by memory. The world(s) are now getting just as popular now as other worlds, so save your... OMG I can't believe you post about German Worlds... Now my [insert spot here] is going to be taken/occupied. So I decided to hop on World 140 and check out the Abbys in German. Right clicking on the drops was cracking me up.. (Was late at night combo'd with lack of sleep, so almost anything would have) Also it kept things interesting.. Seeing the stuff I see hours on end with a new twist. Trying to figure out with friends how to type Red:Selling whip 2.4m or to type Glow1:Selling whip 20m we figured out Red = rot: and some others but I had to write them down.. Not good at spelling german. So anyway after a while of having fun I noticed Ummm Burnt German Sausage.... And the Specials are ubber sexy ((Disclaimer - New Burnt Sausage Special also hits you with 4 0's)) 8-) Anyways.... I may not be German, but at least I speak to others in the German servers in their native language. I was sickened by the influx of "omg, speak english" morons that seemed to have crashed the server. Otherwise, I appreciate the practice. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. PLAY RS and learn how to speak a different language. \ I played a while on the german server pking f2p today, met some german people and talked to them in german, it's a great practice for me because my german isn't exactly flawless :P Too bad I can't add them atm because I'm f2p with a 190ppl friendlist, so I'm just going t have to talk to different people every time and try to understand some really weird words while playing in world 139 :P btw they really aren't very crowded at all. Click the arrow and Change it to English to German (or, if you want to find what a german word means, look for German to English) 2.Type the word or phrase in english 3. Click Free translation (the words in bold, do NOT click Human translation or else you have to pay for it) 4.view the new german word you see in the box and use them to chat in runescape! If you translated a german word, you now know what it means. 5. To translate another word or phrase, scroll down and type in or change the language.
