All Runecrafting methods require a certain degree of mind numbing. If you think you can find a way of getting to lvl 50 RC in a few hours you are very mistaken. Abyss/ZMI are probably the "fastest" ways but even then it's a mind-numbing bore. I just love how nobody bothered to train RC, and now that the guild has a requirement that only 250k players had prior to its release everyone's rushing around trying to get in. I made out like a bandit on this update. :lol:

This sort of behaviour has been around for as long as I can remember. I kind it kind of sad and pathetic that there are so many people in the worlds that don't have any friends or anything even remotely close to a social life. #-o I'm fairly high-leveled, and I was once standing in a bank when a player the same combat level as me started talking with a lvl 5 female character. Not two minutes into the conversation and he goes "Umm... Want to get RS married?" :shock: I was so disgusted that I ran to the nearest trainning spot and started going for the next combat level so I wouldn't have the same combat as someone like that. :wall:

25 minutes? When GOP was first released you only had to wait 10 minutes if you leave before the game ends. You can't expect to always win, especially if you're playing for the first time. You just got stuck with a bad team, you shouldn't give up that easy and decide to not go back... As for the tele tabs, they are very handy. But some of them are overpriced in my opinion. I mean, 30 tokens for 1 air tab?!! That should be 10 tokens max. Although I guess the Nature/Law tabs are more reasonable considering the time they'd save you and the value of those two rune types. If you have enough time/patience I'd say you should definitely go for it.

Probably a conspiracy by the other fansites. They realised that Tip.It is way more awesome than they are and our community is much better so they formed an alliance to try and take us down! :ohnoes:

This would be better suited in Questionnaires, don't you think? Anyway, mine would be the Duel Arena (no randoms), the Grand Exchange (price checks) or just any bank. What really matters is that I can chat with friends to pass the time, and that can be done anywhere! :

Apart W16, the worlds 1, 3, 4 and 5 are always packed. If you're looking to play GOP on a members' server I'd say try using worlds 2 and 6, or try a world where the official activity is running runes.

That's an oxymoron, haha! :lol: Actually it's more of a paradox but oxymoron is more lulzy in this situation. Give a little extra exp when lighting and the inferno adze can be used as a dragon axe, runepickaxe AND it can burn logs whiile you woodcut. The ring only gives an extra 0.025% xp, that's ridiculous... (I know it increases later but it's still ridiculous) The Inferno Adze is an absolutely marvelous tool, it's the RuneScape version of the Swiss Knife! :thumbsup: Hooray for topic hijacking! :P I'd say use the energy pool from the As A First Resort quest. If you haven't done the quest now you have a good reason to! If you *can't* do the quest make use of the Exlporer ring or just use Energy potions. Although the latter would take up precious inventory space.

It seems you want a fast way to train Crafting without loosing any money *pauses to watch pigs fly by* There's no way you can do that, fast=expensive, and that's especially true if you're buying all the raw materials. If you want to save a few gp try to get some of the resources yourself. I'd recommend dragon hides, if you keep the hides you get when/if you kill dragons in the long run it should save you a bundle.

Most people think it's a mistake to raise Attack beyond 40 if your PK account is F2P, but with many accounts being converted to tankers after the December updates this might be a good way to retaliate. I'd say just focus on trainning Strength for the moment, and once the PvP worlds are released study the situation and try to decide if it's best to raise your Attack or just keep it as it is. And why oh why, is everyone posting topics where they ask for PK help here when there is a forum dedicated to PK Help & Advice.

I'm sure the Tip.It staff appreciate you recognizing the effort they're putting into fighting the DDOS, but there is a topic where users can thank them for their hard work: DDOS attack discussion!

I guess it just comes down to what mood I'm in. Sometimes I log in with no desire to train at all, so I play a mini-game (combat or otherwise) or hang out with friends and chat. Quests are always fun, sometimes I even go help some newbies do F2P quests... Brings back memories. :P And sometimes I find that I'll enjoy trainning. Mining is one of my favourite skills (don't hit me!) and I find it relaxing to just grab my pickaxe and head out to a nice quiet area where I don't have to compete for the ores, and just enjoy the mining. When the PvP worlds are released I'll be able to make any mining location I want a "nice and quiet area where I don't have to compete for the ores" :twisted:

Here's a very good tip on who not to target while pking: players who are 50+ lvls higher than you. :ohnoes: Jagex stated that you won't get the player's items when you kill them, but instead the drops will be generated by the game (they also said initially you'll only get regualr monster drops, like say 120gp). So there's no reason to be annoying and go around reviving the days of rc pkers and such... Just fight to have fun, and scare others away in an attempt to "control resources". :thumbsup:

1 Def pures were obliterated after the December updates. Since they are worth nothing outside the first BH crater, most of the players converted them into tankers (high def in case you didn't know). I imagine that many pures coming back are going to raise Attack to combat the other pures' higher Defence, but you never know. For now, just get 40Att 70+Str 50Magic and 70+Range then see which way you want to go.

I played as normal, when I think of summer vacation I don't think "z0mg moar t1me 2 pl@y RS leolz". No offence to people that do, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, it's just that I don't see it that way.

Many polls are just for fun, like the "Living in RuneScape" one. I doubt they're planning to build a city based on Falador. :P You never know, this poll might be to benefit FunOrb. They might use it to get idea for new games. If Jagex plans to release a console version of RS it's going to have to be a single player game where there is 3/4 less grind. To make it playable as an MMORPG on say PS3, like FFXI, would be very tricky.

Haha, that would mean we'd be getting the old Wilderness and free trading back. :P I honestly doubt the new head of RS will have the faintest idea what a PKer is...

I can't see anything else resembling Varrock either... I think it's just a coincidence, really. Other than that, maybe you guys are just imagining things? The mind creates patterns to see what it wants to see. :ohnoes:

All my friends hate RuneScape (at least the ones that know what an MMORPG is do :P). And no, it isn't because it has "bad graphics" like many of you are saying, it's because they think it's a bit :geek: :geek:
