Yes, but you have 99 defence. #-o Most people don't. For example, i will usually take 5-20 damage from any 1 aviansie. The only exception is when a world is empty and i get all the 69 and 71s for myself. I have 85 defence... and yes I wear all the tank gear possible short of torag platebody :P

scimmy >>>> longsword. minus 2 attack bonus? that's NOTHING when you have 67 or 69 overall. 5 strength is 1 damage point :roll: Also d scim is a LOT faster than you said it is... anybody training strength more than 1 level uses a scimmy #-o on to the point that a longsword has stab attack bonus: so does dragon dagger, if you need stab most people will use it. Saradomin Sword > Scimmy > longsword for str training. Whip > longsword for attack and defense training. 'Nuff said about scim/long debate... On to the whip training on controlled: Actually, controlled is the best training to use. with certain gear/strength levels, you will actually hit 1 damage point more than on att or defense, and it trains HP as well as the three melee skills with 1.33x exp per hit, so it's more for hitpoints.

Time is money. "Self-Sufficiency" is more like "self-limiting". Example: Self-sufficient (SS) does this: 1. cuts yews 2. fletches yews 3. picks flax 4. spins flax 5. strings bows. 6. mines pure essence 7. crafts nature runes 8. alches bows Total profit: 768 per bow Time Is Money player does this: 1. cuts yews, sells, OR crafts natures. 2. ends up with hella lot more money than the bow alching self sufficient player, with which he buys 5 times the bows SS made and alches them all. Lot more magic exp, if training is what TIM (time is money) is after. If he is training fletching or crafting, he could also buy maples/dragonhide/leather and fletch or craft those, still earning a lot more exp than SS.

That's for a very simple reason. When u first started typing: took you a few weeks to get up to 60+wpm didn't it? Well, if you use quickchat only worlds and use the keyboard hotkeys for quickchat, u'll be typing faster than without quickchat in a few weeks. :

Wow thats incredibly rare. Ring of wealth or no? You probably use archer ring though. ring of wealth is ftl, i used it from about 90-112 combat, now i always wear a fremennik ring and i just went on a metals task, got a skirt... with ring of wealth i never got any dragon items :
