Yeas, it may just coincidence, but think about it... They have TONS of people working at Jagex, and this weeks update was just the postbag which they could have 1 or 2 people complete, and the quest helps that they probably have been working on for quite some time. Both this month and last month, more so this month has been free time for Jagex to think about and plan future updates, possibly a new skill.

Okay, think about it this way with these steps... 1.) Jagex picks up on Rule-Breaker violating Rule 7. 2.) Jagex bans both the userid of the person that broke the rule and the IP (or IP range) associated with the Rule-Breaker. Unluckily, this happens to be the IP (or IP range) of a cybercafe or library or just a whole ISP micro-net. 3.) ISP/Library/Cybercafe goes into serious legal uproar for something they have been wrongfully hit for (and already by law and/or TOS can't be responsible for), as its' far larger number of innocent users now no longer have access to RuneScape. I agree with the use of IP bans being made that could other innocents, andd due to that, they really can't stop the sale of RS gold or the creation of autoers. On another note, i haven't noticed that they do bannings every week, and it was just odd to me, and a bit surprising that they ban upwards of 4 thousand accounts without the public's notice. That and i never watched the disappearance of accounts of the high scores.

true, but if you watch the highscores, people are being deleted fairly quickly, and about 4k accounts are gone from wcing, not to mention strength highscores not having 1m people

Well this is spawned from a topic i found on the RSOF about a "Woodcutting highscores glitch" and it really seems like a ban, BUT any person that has not logged in once a person has been banned that would have a ranked skill does not show up. So basically, if i have 60 wcing, and jagex bans say 1,000 accounts that have wcing over 60, and the new lowest level needed to be in the top 1m is 59, i wouldn't appear on the list until i log in. This means Jagex has banned as many as 4k+ accounts! Its like this for many other stats, in fact, i think most skills no longer have a 1m ranked user. Coincidence? i think not. Post your thoughts.

a good way would possibly be to train rc to 44, and mine 5-6k p ess, and craft into nats. it helps for the future, as RC is very easily the best skills to make money in my opinion.

Well today was a great day for me, and i explained most of in in my bank pic for today, although don't expect another one for a few days, possibly until Sunday. I was actually hoping to end the day with a big 17M, but i came close, plus i bought up 5k p ess, so that probably would have pushed me over.

I used it maybe once to try it out when they first released it, but haven't used it since. I prefer to quest w/o guides, but use one from tip.it if i really need to.

I think you may have overloaded the memory capacity of the computer, and caused it to overload during startup. Usually computers that start off with 512mb memory don't or can't take any higher, unless you set up the computer to take it. Either that, or you could just remove all three 512 memory, and just replace it with a 1024mb memory drive. Then clean up your computer. Save any files you have to drive, start it up back at day one from system restore. THEN replace the memory after getting your computer back up. If the computer was running with all four for awhile, then it may just be coincidence that it was working, and just finally gave out, and blew out that one memory stick. I would still personally remove all three, and replace them all with a single 1G memory card.

You can't apply for it, and are chosen by the staff. I'm not truly sure how they do it, but you can't just ask for the job.

Black mask is only good if you plan on meleeing your slayer tasks, and that is not to mention a few that you cannot use it with, like ones that require facemask, nosepegs, earmuffs. BUT, i prefer it over basically everything else while training slayer. It is the best unless doing an undead slayer task. then it is time for slave ammy (e) + nezitot

Unless you have alot of time, and want to make brutal arrows for faster killing, and restore potions/super restores, not to mention you have to do a quest, and the chance of getting 1 bone is not 100% Dragon bones... 100% available easier to get, less hassle and they still give great exp.

I personally think ankous have the lowest chance to drop clues, as ive killed thousands of them getting 75 str+ multiple slayer tasks, yet never gotten a single clue. If you want to clue hunt lv 3s, kill jellies or greater demons. both have good drops, and drop clues fairly often

now that the big red "!" that blinks when someone takes something off a trade and people still think the can get away with removing money for an item for free. I just sit there with them accepted for my item with nothing, then the screen closes, and i spy a noob scammer fleeing away from me, then i report them. Happens all the time. I quickly jot their name while in the trade :

Thanks for the comment, and yes, i like to keep my secret of what i merchant, although if you really think about it, its probably something pretty obvious :o I really only got lucky on the two days of merchanting, as alot of prices dropped, so i was able to buy and sell quickly. I let out one small secret though only sell on RSOF forums :-w
