I gained over 40 ranks but I did not fire a shot.
hatebringer replied to sjefderat's topic in General Discussion
if you want to know where these people are, simply go to any blue dragon area, and look them up. range is usually only ranked. -
Im sorry... but getting a 99 in ANY skill already makes you much more proficient in every skill that you have a 99. herblore has better pots, all melee skills let you hit and defend more proficiently, 99 fishing/wcing allow quicker cutting and fishing witch make better money, hunter lets you catch more often, theiving lets you fail less... etc. A really bad idea, seems just thrown together, and most people with 99s will agree, having a 99 is better than having some special ability, and most likely JaGEX will never add it. ideas with well over 100k+ supporters probably won't be added, and support on the RSOF is just noobs who support everything. EX: noobz0r2615(fake name)- I thnk ther shud be lik a big bomb that you can blo pplz up and take ther stuffs and monys like in faldor or other place SUPPORT! some random noobs- OMG!!!!!11!111 best idea evur!!!!1!!!1!!!!!!1!!111 Jagex do now!!!11111 And this is why the RSOF are so bad. horrible suggestions that are almost always supported by noobs

runebox ---a secure way to store your precious items
hatebringer replied to RSBDavid's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
lol... good try at knowing it all. a GOOD trojan virus, or any virus that matter, can easily bypass EVERYTHING within seconds of you accessing the site/program. Anti viruses are only as good as the updates with information. if you get a virus that is even slightly new, you probably won't even know that you have it. Also, a trojan is almost always what is sent in order to find out passwords. Why would a hacker who wants your RS stuff send just a keylogger? They wouldn't. And if a Virus can bypass 1 antivirus program, or firewall, then the others aren't gonna do much. Having multiple anti programs actually makes your computer MORE vulnerable as they work against each other, and think the other programs are viruses. OT: Bad idea, im sorry, the total thing would be a horrible idea. What if your in a hurry, and accidently misspell a word, or something along those lines, you just lost either a great sale/awesome deal... and having to run to some random place in RS... no support -
An odd idea in the shower this morning...
hatebringer replied to CWolf2's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Just reading that makes me want to go to that kid's house, walk right up to him, turn his computer off, and punch him in the face "there, i made ya" :XD: -
wow, just cuz hes lv 1, don't accuse, man, you may be a high lv, but making actuations against people is pure "noobish" OT: its a glitch, nothing more, as stated on the RSOF, it was a very rare glitch
-
probably my favorite was either RFD or DT, simply cuz i do quests for rewards, thus they are the best rewarding quests

Almost Got Scammed? Want To Tell Your Story? Post It Here!
hatebringer replied to The_Sith's topic in General Discussion
you are very luck, and a really horrible scam at that, he didn't want you to have food or anything, cuz he was planning on doing something, i forget, but you would lose your whip, even if you only had it, and had no skull. I know it has something to do with dragon battle axes... And i fell for that scam too, lost my whip Scammers are really pathetic people -
I originally used Tip.it just for the guides, and many other sites (non RS related) use this, and it helps with alot of things, including more page space. I think this would be a great add on to Runescape's 1st and greatest Fansite. :

Well, since F2P is raising 0 dollars for JaGEX, they need to at least make a bit off of it, FYI, they are a company, and companies like money. So thats why they have the rule, also, blocking them will give JaGEX less money, as there is a certain system that ad's pay by. something like 1 cent per ad displayed, and 3 cents per clicked ad, or something like that. They also probably have detection systems.. that must be out of date, as they can't detect macros really well, but i say, just don't break the rules.

Stats and Best inventory
hatebringer replied to Evil_Ruler7's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
His slayer lvl indicates he didn't use too much PC. Nice bank + Stats. 85 Slayer is only 13m combat xp. He obviously used pest control because he only has 97hp and all 99 melee stats. -.- so? he used PC big deal. you cant PC slayer, and that is a tough level to get. OT: Very Nice, stats are great, and your invent is awesome, just dont die with it :XD: 10/10 -
Ok, not one of my favorite topics, but i still have a bit to say. Some of the randoms make the game more "life-like" and should stay in play, and il stop at that. macros/farmers break rules and should be stopped, but not with in-game randoms

I like that above quote, it tells the main problem with the whole "no-life" thing that is going around. Most of it is actually the thought of someone having something that takes alot of time and effort to get, like high levels, and the people who usually saw that a certain person is a "nerd" is simply their obliviousness to how they actually obtained it. A person could get a 99 in the least nerdy way, by training a level a week, or even a month, and still be called a "no-life" simply for having the skill, and not how they obtained it. BAsically what i am saying, is that some people are just falling into a jealous state when they use the profanity that hurts the players who take their time to get skills, and then they feel they need to say something, because they don't have the patience, or mental skill to obtain something, or simply, don't want to. This is one major reason in the decline of good, moral players. It is also the decline of Runescape. People think they can get whatever they want, just by complaining and begging, until either they get tired, or decide to quit, and work for it. This doesn't happen in Runescape. A player can start off at lv 3, not know anything really, and when they see a high level, they usually take whatever they say, and base their own morals on it. They want free stuff, and if they don't get it, they may leave, but usually don't. Before getting to off-topic, i want to say how this interacts with the whole "no-life" comment. When that "fresh from tutorial island" player joins the higher ranked players, he may see rich, players his level, and think "why is he my level, and have better stuff?" This branches the begging players, but also the discriminate players who feel they have been riped off by the game, and its creators, and feel the need to lash out at the more "well-off" amongst us. This usually doesn't usually start, until asking the better player how he did it, or how he made money, and some patient players may even achieve it, and feel proud at what they did, but those who want it "here and now" suffer, and take their anger out at the players who had the patience to put in lots of hours for a single goal. And thus the saying of "no-life" spawns... and it basically circles from there. most of the sayings just die off, and the better players just look down at them, and think they could have had it too if they worked at it. And there you have it. Most other things apply to the quote, it is never "no-life" etc. etc. but you have a life, just a majority of it is spent in front of a computer. a "life" as people call it, is living, breathing, thinking etc. A "social life" is different, but playing RS, you get to talk to people, so i can't really say what those people base their thoughts on. It shall remain a mystery.

70+ all isn't enough? Grats on getting that 95 of yours. Good luck on 99 herblore. Haven't been following your blog, but are you going to be finishing off 99's in crafting and construction sometime soon? Or are they just post-99 herblore? Good luck  Mmk I didn't think this would happen. What I'm trying to say is that people with all this cash tend to just buy their skills. Yet, all his skills are 70+, and last time i checked 70 farming is HIGH. and 70+ is also high. Buying skills isn't bad. And I SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone would collect all the herbs themselves, or make all the planks... etc. OT: Very nice, herblore is one of the rarest skills, and very hard to train, also is very hard to get enough herbs to get 99. GL on that tough skill.

Dont you love how it these kind of topics, the people who do play RS say they wouldn't be saddened, even if a small bit, or that they wouldn't horde over a fantasy online game, yet when its gone... thats 1- however many hours a day that now have nothing in them. Personally, i think I would do like stewie in that parody of bewitched on family guy, but instead of saying "thats not funny" say something like "you just killed hundreds of super addicted RS fans!" or something along those lines.

f2p: edgeville and varrock are usually the best, but are riddled with bots, the ones by falador are also bad, so f2p is kinda outta luck p2p: tree gnome stronghold is good, and bank is only one click away, and has 4 trees, very close together, although crowded at peak times

Well, this isn't so much what a noob said, but what we said to him. we were fming in f2p, in our "really cool members outfits" when a noob started following me. Noob: Waht kind of Armor is that Noob: ? Me: Noob destructive Armor Friend: Lol Noob: Am I a noob? Friend: Yes Noob: Can you make me not noob? Me: Lol Friend: Lol Then a few minutes later, another one began following me, and asked for some money.. (of course) Noob: Can i have free gold money? Me: Im poor Noob: No your not! Noob: You lieing! Me: Ok il give you some free "trades" my offer 10gp free accepts Noob: Omg! tyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Noob: Friends???? Friend: Il give you 100gp if you beat us in a race to varrock Noob: ok! "runs" Me: Lol!! And finally, the last one that was really funny Me: Drop Party~~~~ Crowd of Noobs: OMG, show plz... etc etc "I bought a ton of general store items, like pots cake tins hammers, and other stuff, and had a huge drop party, with trash lol, and most of the noobs picked up the stuff, and one even complained when they didn't gat a hammer lol. we hopped to a lass crowded world after that, and nothing much happened then. OT:go to lumby furnace.. is it just me or is the smithing apprentice a midget?

When i first saw this, i thought "dragonkin" but i highly doubt it is, it looks more of a demon like appearance

1. you drink antifire before fighting, or you receive no resistance from the dragon's fire attack. in conjunction with a anti-dragon shield, you will always take 0 damage from dragon breath. 2. If you feel confident, bring only food, although blue+ dragons are ;v 111+ and will hit you some of the time. there are two ways to fight, pray based, or defense based. pray based is when you wear pray boosting armor like proteslyte (sp) and use a whip or another strong weapon, then there is defensive where you wear strong defensive armor. rune + is always a good choice. If you use pray boosting, you will probably pray for every dragon, so little food is requires, but in defensive, you will need food, as you will get hit. but remember, each pray pot is upwards of 7k+ and sharks are only around 900 each, so make your choice wisely. (i use food, cheaper, and defense lv 79 helps also)

well im 79 def and can stay there for about 2 hours with monkfish, and only eat when im lower than 30 hp, but now i have guthans so i can stay there forever

dragon drops are rare, and they dont drop often. fire giants hardly drop meds at all, and i didnt even get my first drag drop till i was 96 combat, and i killed fire giants from 50 range to 72, and got this many dragon meds: 0
