Ditto what bouwzie said. Not everyone is focused on having overly expensive equipment. Most of it is just ego boosting anyway, since one can obviously get by on much less than the items you mentioned. I prefer to spend my money in something I know I won't lose, so I tend to buy levels rather than equipment. I'm not rich or powerful by anyone's standards (except maybe a newbie :P) but I've played for happiness, not capes or godswords. :)

That may be a little hardcore for Jagex. Vicious slashing, sniping, and squishing probably won't go into a game they know little kids play. Plus, what would the Hero skill do to player killing? It'd have to affect combat level obviously, in a way similar to Summoning. Just imagine trying to figure out who to fight when the combat levels of the players look like 114 + 11 + 9. Who knows what that player is capable of doing if you choose to attack? Maybe in a different game this would make a good addition, but RuneScape has enough combat skills as is.

Let's hope it works better than real life ones...

My thoughts exactly. Look at past items anyway, it's rare that they serve any purpose. The broom has a nifty little emote and looks nice, so I can't see anything wrong with it. Even for members, it's essentially just that. Very few people go to the Sorceress' Garden on a regular basis, and if they do, teleporting to either Lumbridge or the Duel Arena makes it a short walk. The broom is your concept of "worthless" whether you're a free player or not. I really like it though. Hovering would be nice, but still.

Well, if you can't get a pendant out of either Lucien, you may want to use the search function in your bank. It sounds stupid, but you may have misplaced it into an incorrect tab, etc.

I know you don't want to here it, but you've only got three levels left in fletching. I would finish that off before I started anything else. Woodcutting is also nice and high though, there's another option.

I'm not sure why you plan to take super restores. Wouldn't regular prayer potions be better, or do you have some secret purpose?

Heck, if nothing else, get a fury. That's the one piece of equipment I never take off. Since you just have a pile of cash, you might as well upgrade your other equipment as well, but I'm not one to talk. I've got plenty of money and still wear rune. :P

Ok, you've been really helpful, thanks. :)

Alrighty, I'll check it out thanks. Anything up to date that the guide doesn't include that I might need to know?

So, do I need to pray at the aviansies? What kind of outfit should I be wearing?

~Unofficial Skill & Team(39) Cape Competition!~ WINNERS!

It's a Ringmaster top. -
I'm maging metal dragons with fire bolts in my chaos gauntlets now. I noticed that I can get to 99 magic almost twice as quickly casting fire waves. What kind of loss would 8,000,000 xp in fire waves cost me at metal drags? Is there anything better to cast fire wave on? If so, what? Thanks in advance guys! :)

My point is that you chose the side with the 18 max hit. If you want to be more effective, you pay for membership. In my opinion free players don't deserve anything more. They merely mooch off the game that members support. I don't care one whit about the advert argument, it's not nearly the same. Also, when I said you had access to every weapon, I mean that once you have the money and have finished the quest to wield it (if applicable), you can use it. A free player who has hundreds of millions can't use a godsword, etc.
-
It seems you want to control other players. Player killing has always had people who teleport, run away, or go to a safe spot. Don't forget they want to make a quick buck too. I'm sure you would get out if you were on the bad end of a fight. You appear to also want F2P to have access to members items. Seems a bit pointless to me, when Jagex wants you to become a member to use such weapons. Free players have a lot as is I think, and should stop asking for more freebies. You chose to make a pure with pathetic free player options when you already have a member main with access to any weapon.

I deliberately skill on PvP worlds for the thrill of getting jumped by a clan. I would consider attacking skillers very rude, but it keeps me entertained. :

First off, not all questers use guides. I enjoy going guideless, it's a bit more fun that way, and you get a feeling of accomplishment at the end knowing you can beat the puzzles and such. Grinding through a skill and getting a cape doesn't deserve respect. Finishing all the quests RuneScape currently offers doesn't deserve respect. Pointing and clicking is meaningless. The only thing in the game that deserves respect is the people behind the pixels. Let's stop blathering on about what capes are "respectable" and just play the game for fun and to enjoy the friends we make.

What is the motivation behind these names?
Moad14 replied to lusciousboom's topic in General Discussion
"Yo I O W N U" is neither original, nor ownage, it is just annoying. Plus the stats in your signature are lies. But I digress... I think that the main reason usernames are so l33t-filled and bland anymore is because nobody takes the time to think their name through. When I selected my name, I chose one where every single character within it had a meaning, including the numbers- a kind of an anagram. So while numbers are usually just unoriginality, they occasionally do serve a purpose. -
Are you getting hundreds per day? That may affect it.

Make oak larders. As for butlers, I just always used house portals and tabs to bank.

Str or attack - Which do you find more useful?
Moad14 replied to MrNiceGuy69's topic in Help and Advice
I like attack more, as I'd rather hit a medium amount always, than a high amount sometimes. -
DONT LOOK AT ANY OTHER THREAD BUT THIS ONE

You've forgotten me in your list of people to thank. Who gave you the start on your fortune, so you could afford crafting? :| Congrats though, crafting equals pure win. 10/10 -
I for one applaud this update. =D> Every successful economy breaks up monopolies, thus encouraging competition. More competition means lower prices for everyone. There are really only two ways you can create a stable economy. A. A mixed economy, such as all the modern nations have. B. A Communistic economy, which would work great, except people (especially "scapers") tend to get whiny, and equality is usually frowned upon, because people want to have more than others. If we could convince all RuneScape players to work for the good of the society, this would work insanely well. Obviously only choice "A" is going to be effective, and it seems Jagex is slowly but surely working their way towards stability.
