I thought that both the articles were brilliant! Good job you two, I was into those articles. =D> Take the insults with a grain of salt. The rude people can write their own articles if they want, but until they do so they can hardly bash you for expressing your opinions. Though I'm not the player killing type, I still know what player versus player is like. You gave an accurate depiction, and told about the evolution of player killing. I very much enjoyed it, skatedog111. Mirrorforced, I feel your point very strongly. I remember a time when I'd go visit with the Tip.It crowd between slayer tasks, skilling, etc. Edgeville is empty and silent anymore, not the bustling community of friends that it once was. Thanks for all the work you guys put into the articles; I really enjoyed them. :)

There's no discussion in any of your posts yet. It's like a really bad comedian, making observations that only he laughs at... We may understand you better if you use some capitalization, spelling, and punctuation though, maybe you could try that?

I lost ... money when I was hacked (creative beggars)
Moad14 replied to ShadowTwisted's topic in Rants
You ever notice that over half the population of RuneScape got "hacked" when they had a full "party hat set"? -
Please tell me, Why do some players want to have 1 defence??
Moad14 replied to cookie1762's topic in Rants
There is no point. Having no defense is not good for anything anymore, the era of the pure is essentially over. Pures used to be decent for pking, but not so much now. -
Well, I've played for three years and the best drop I've gotten yet was a Farseer Helmet. :| Nobody has worse luck than me, so you have that consolation at least.

Tip it is Cliquey - Share you thoughts/Experiences

What kind of jerk are you to laugh at a failing community? I would not say we're failing though; there are just so many idiots on here anymore is all. At any given time half the posts in Help and Advice are "im por how can i make gps???" I find it rare that there's a decent question in the sub-board, so rare that I don't even visit it any longer. Most are simple things that can be found in guides/databases/other active topics. I've experienced snubbing by many higher-level Tip.It-ers in game, but never on the forums. If you type out your words and spell them properly, assuming your post is relevant, nobody will flame you. -
Yes, I find it mind-boggling that people continue to get reported for offensive language. It's never necessary and almost always idiotic. What makes it worse is when some idiot says "lolololol" afterward to encourage it. :|

I trained fletching back when it was really profitable because I was an idiot about moneymaking. I chose the skill because I heard it would make me a decent amount, and I thoroughly enjoyed training the skill except for the last level. People were excessively rude to me about it. "flethcing cape??? gf nub" I love the cooking emote, and I achieved that cape as well. I was abused for this even more than for fletching. I couldn't understand why people needed to rub their slayer cape in my face. Why were they better? Was it just because they had played longer than me and were more interested in combat? Finally I got my quest cape, a long-term dream of mine and my favorite aspect of RuneScape. When people learned what three capes I had, they ripped into me, in the most egregious fashion imaginable. I'm still not sure what I've done wrong. I chased a profit, I snagged an emote, and met a goal while having a lot of fun along the way. Somehow this makes me a "sad n00b" with "no life/boyfriend" and "fat and ugly." Don't give me the line about the average player either, Tip.It-ers have perhaps given me the worst of the lot. Someday I hope the community will grow a bit wiser. Once we shed the notions of "noob cape"s and stop comparing ourselves to other players things will change for the better. However, I fear it will only grow worse...

No. Giving more members items to free players lessens the incentive to become a member.

Meh, I voted for the turkey dinner. That'd look nice on our essentially useless POH tables. We really don't need more pets; we have so many already that it's annoying.
-
Soul altar? That'd make for a good reward at the end of our Grandmaster Quest.
-
That may be it, and I'm sorry if I came off a bit harsh. I've just seen one too many banner threads to take them seriously I guess.
-
My best friends know my catch-phrases. The one I use most often is "Noobs ftw". New players are often very pleasant people because they haven't yet been corrupted by the community. If you'd like to, add me to your friends list, I love helping people out and a new friend is always great. :

Even if Jagex did intend for that to be the Stone of Jas in the picture, it's not conclusive evidence for anything. But it is..... for the fact that the stone in the picture is the Stone of Jas.... might have misunderstood you :) What more can I add? Not only that mess, but the color of the stone is not crimson. It's more of an orange, like my highlighting.

Can someone please tell me how many points you get from Duradel for completing the every tenth task? Also, what is the amount for a fiftieth task?

What is the most useful NON-Combat Skill?
Moad14 replied to Intermagma's topic in General Discussion
Yes, magic rules. Imagine what it'd be like getting a terrordog task, finishing, then walking back to Duradel for your next assignment, which also happens to be terrordogs. Many people underestimate the usefulness of this skill. -
At what level is a skill considered "high"? Combat effects?
Moad14 replied to Vulxai's topic in General Discussion
A high level to me means 80+. I don't care about combat levels, total levels, whether or not the person cut their own logs, fished their own sharks, or anything else. -
Rather save as in I don't have to kill one? They're all doomed anyway? In that case, the strangers. My best friend would agree with me, and if not, I would need a new one anyway.
-
I would switch the train track towards the single person, as I would be able to cut him/her free faster than the group of five. In the medical situation... That's a loaded question no matter how you view it. I personally would never be able to kill someone, so I guess the five ailing patients would die.
-
Mithril bolts would probably sell better. You'd have to get more specific about what type of darts, kinves, and bolts though.
-
I can and will argue that point. Though many skills were killed by the Grand Exchange, Fletching and RuneCrafting still live on. You can buy all your materials and still turn a profit. Other skills that do lose money can easily be made up for in other ways. There are no flaws in the system if you have a balanced character.

I am. Tassets don't degrade, look much nicer, and when you add in the factor of conspicuous consumption these are a much better choice for me than Dharok's legs.
