We members pay for Jagex to update our content. I assume you're a free player. Jagex wants you to pay your five bucks a month, so they don't update F2P very often. In my opinion it should never be updated again, as it seems to be becoming more of a true game than a trial for membership. I see nothing wrong with guild requirements, since they're all exceedingly low. I would be interested in hearing why you're praying against dwarves and goblins though. Why do you say it used to be an advantage to get into the monastery, but that it's not now? There's nothing wrong with the trade limits either, they're fair, scam proof, and most people use the Grand Exchange instead.

I've kept almost all my firsts, such as my first tinderbox, hammer, and so on. The best purchase I even made was the tan cavalier that I've worn for the last two years almost religiously. I even made it my avatar.

There are way more normal accounts being played than pures, so Jagex tries to please as many people as they can. Pures choose anger and frustration instead of a normal account, so I can not feel sorry for you.

Beethovens29 is totally correct. You don't increase your capacity for knowledge by having more. The only things that you can truly put on an IQ test would be logic and math, which isn't even truly IQ, but we need to test on something, eh? I shudder to imagine a true test score being boosted, especially that much, because of what we've learned on RuneScape. Most of the community actually lowers your IQ.

I think a lot of it may have to do with lending. Let's say you finally get your party hat and want to show it off, and head to the nearest bank to do so. You're greeted with one of two messages: 1. "Can i barrow ur phat (insert your combat level here)???????///" 2. "U nub u dont own it u brrwd it." Your feeling of accomplishment is destroyed.

All levels eventually give hardly any bonuses, and don't worry about your drive. Do what you want, and play the game for fun. Armors are way overrated, and it seems people would rather grind than have a good time anymore. :|

It's been my experience that many hunters are unwilling to share a spot, to the point of verbal abuse. :| With such fanaticism, these people aren't going to quickly leave a relatively empty training area. However, it sounds like most of the people you encountered were just the typical idiots found in our beloved game.

You don't get muted for stars, but I found out you can be for sarcasm... #-o I also dislike the censor though, it blocks even the most commonplace words, making RuneScape chatting very inefficient.

I think he was aiming for something like: 'You'd have to be one of those I.Q. lowering idiots to get yourself permanently muted.' OT: I never turn my public chat off, I like to hear what people are saying. I never add to my ignore list with the sole exception of spammers.

It'd be fun to look at once or twice, but it's not worth the effort it'd take to create it. Flat and simple world map > curved and messy globe

I've done several dozen level three trails, and the best reward I've gotten yet is 80k worth of rune junk. :| I always keep a scroll in my bank on the off chance I'll get bored and do it, but I have yet to see clues as profitable.

I thought it was the best holiday event in a long time, and the quest was lots of fun too. :D

Thumb rings aren't as rare as you'd think. I know two people who wear them constantly. How about a painless way to train hunter? I don't care for any of the present methods.

Dragon armor pieces, excluding the boots, are mainly just ego boosters or for people without 70 defence. There are plenty of better armors at much more reasonable prices. Why on earth should it matter if the full helm is a drop? The stats aren't that great anyway, so the price should reflect that more closely.

You do know that afk-ing is against the rules? I'm not sure Jagex will be sympathetic to that plea. I hope that when you have all the pieces to an outfit, (Mime, Drill Demon, etc.) you no longer get that random event.
