  1. Hey maybe you could try you're luck at getting brawler gloves. If you enjoy PKing that is. And I don't know if the gloves stack with the horn, but I do know they are insane exp for firemaking.
  2. He asked: I replied: Did that crashing thread really say "Yea, no one should crash because it's not nice" or did it say "we earned the right to crash anyone we want, so live with it". Wheres the mudslinging?
  3. I have that same dream. We're past the golden age where combat and skilling were balanced, and where people weren't looked down upon by others because they don't play the same way. Nowadays, it's whoever can solo the most Graardors in one trip; whoever can complete a large floor in <20 minutes; who ever can get lucky on high end drops to hoard partyhats; whoever can crash others, or be the most efficient, because a 138 using GWD is better than a 125 using GWD for the whole economy, therefore the 125 should bend over and haul ass to blue dragons so he can also produce resources for everyone else. If the 125 dares say something like "hey, I got here first, mind letting me stay for a couple kills?", he will get flamed by "it's better for everyone if you go back to drags, so gtfo". A soul altar would be nice.
  4. I read the title as "the Dreamy Communist Thread". Then I read the posts and I was like  Then I scrolled up and read Consumerist. lol. Anyways... I have no idea what kind of earbuds there are, I just use the ones that came with my iPod. A billion dollars is a lot to pick a silly earbud.
  5. This doesn't surprise me. Guns are way to easy to get a hold of in the States.
  6. 30m construction exp. And possibly 95 prayer but I'm too lazy to do quests for the curses anyways.
  7. Then again, it COMPLETELY depends on what you do. Some people, like me, don't play on slaying long term. I plan to stop after 85, and getting 40k slayer exp with a whip sounds fine to me. Instead, I planned to play castle wars, so I got a cstaff, and rune fights at edge, so I got a maul (arguably, rapier is good at this too, but it's my preference). If at any time in the future I wanted to train slayer/in general, I'd train dungeoneering for a rapier. It's not like once you choose a CLS first, you can NEVER go back for a second or third item. There are many things a rapier can't do, for example, can you mage with it? Can you range with it? One more thing, for those who do intend on only getting 80 dungeoneering, wouldn't it be best to get a well rounded weapon? The cls is very good in pvp, and is probably better than the whip at slaying, and its also good at all those other things you said. So wouldn't it make sense for some people who hate dungeoneering to get the average (but better than other non-dg) weapon for most if not all things? That's just what I think. Uh.. Rapier is the most well-rounded chaotic weapon. I got CLS first (20 something pages back), and I was told I would regret it. I was of course stubborn because I thought I would only use it for TD's and bandos, 1 of which I realized Rapier is better anyway, and got my CLS. It worked fine at TD's, but they got boring really fast, and I wanted to slay, pvp and do frost dragons, 3 places where Rapier is a lot better. So I pulled myself together and lasted another week of w117 nightmares, and got a Rapier. Currently, my CLS has the same amount of charge since the day after I bought it, which is a few months ago, and I have recharged my Rapier from ~0-100 twice. Get Rapier first, no matter if you plan on slaying, TD'ing, PVP'ing, GWD'ing, DK'ing, safe PVP'ing, camp monsters, it's seriously the best weapon to get as first chaotic. Seriously. Don't make the same mistake as me, unless you plan on getting 100+ DG anyway. I already got staff and maul before rapier. Yea, I don't feel the mistake. Maul is rockin' in edgeville and ice barrage [bleeps] anyone in bandos with a rapier anyway. Unless I'm getting piled in which case neither staff nor rapier will help. Like I said, feel free to disregard what I say because I'm a [developmentally delayed] who doesn't have a rapier.

So wouldn't it make sense for some people who hate dungeoneering to get the average (but better than other non-dg) weapon for most if not all things? That's just what I think. yes, but only in very extreme cases. Realistically, your claim only applies to accounts whichdo not meler at all. i am confident you made the wrong choice in staff over rapier if you pvp with melee. staff is only more useful than rapier if you simply do not melee at all. rapier is good even if you have a maul. also rapier is proficient at basically all monsters, not just slaying. it is just exceptionally good at slaying. there is nothing remarkable about the cls; it is basically the same as rapier in some cases and much worse in others and no, the idea of getting only a cls is laughable and stupid. reread this whole thread if you disagree. rapier is an all purpose melee weapon. cls and maul are not. I mage. I rarely go toe to toe with a whip (or a rapier if I had one) against other guys. Why bother when you can hit 3x3 with ice barrage. And that's just my theory as to why some choose a cls. I think it's a well rounded weapon to be honest. You know what? It doesn't matter what I think, I don't own a rapier so I'm an idiot anyways, my opinions don't count for crap.
  9. If this is true, I hope I qualify  6-7 years with no blackmarks and no mutes whatsoever :D/

  11. Of course the guy's mental, he's getting CLS! God forbid ANYONE get a CLS because the rapier is PROVEN, MATHEMATICALLY to be better. CLS are for idiots who like longer swords {insert [developmentally delayed] sex joke here}. How can the guy pick the CLS when the obvious choice is the rapier, gosh, mental. Jesus, Izenhime, you've been around this thread for quite a while and have over 100 dg, how do you not think someone is a [developmentally delayed] for picking a CLS. If I saw someone with a CLS, I'd ask them why they picked it, and then tell them they are stupid over and over again, and list all the calculations as to why, until he gets that he made the worst mistake of his RS career. Now that idiot has to waste another 20 hourse to get a rapier. I advise you to do the same, so we never have to see another CLS in the game again. Ok?
  12. Yea, it did nothing to stop rushers. They're still everywhere, failing to get kills and just standing around with protect from melee on all the time.
  13. Stairway to heaven - Led Zeppelin helps me sleep. Some other songs, Before the Winter, Coming home, both by Stratovarius Wish you were here (album) - Pink Floyd The Wind Cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix. Just some off the top of my head.
  14. Ahh I didn't know I could get pineco in Emerald, I love pineco/forretress  I think I'm gonna use it to replace Skarm. Claydol, hmm, interesting choice. I don't think I'm going to use it though, either metagross or Weezing I think. And no legendaries allowed (even if they aren't uber), so oh well.
  15. I had magneton on my team, but he can't learn explosion  Reason I want explosion is to take full advantage of the Emerald move tutors :shades:
  16. I think Strudwick was trying to play it into the corner, then he played it off his own skate?
  17. I've thought about weezing vs muk, and I really don't know. Reason I'm going for muk over weezing is I already plan on skarm as a phys wall, so weezing's defenses won't matter as much, and Muk has more HP and ATK over weezing, but weezing does have levitate and Haze... I might switch out skarm, but I've no idea what to replace it with. Maybe I can get a Banette for spin blocking, but there aren't many spinners to choose from (starmie is the most obvious one). As for Mence, I think Horsea can breed with it, so I'd only need a lvl 50 horsea as it learns Hydro Pump and DDance before then. Suggestions for Weezing vs Muk and Skarm replacements are welcome
  18. Yea you missed the memo, it was in Gen. DIscussion several months ago. So now all we can do it rage at them and be called idiots because we're too stupid to train to better stats so as to not get crashed. I also hate it when I'm barraging nechs and some guy starts attacking them, messing up my lures and stealing my kills <_<
  19. Well then you go down there. I took that picture also to highlight the bad part of this update as well. They removed the zeros. I like the zeros. I like to see my character bathed in zeros. Now I get a stupid shield with an arrow bouncing off it. And we all know that Jagex did this because they know that nubile minds are greatly offended by zeros and hitting a zero is obviously a sign of impotence. Wait, let me get this straight, you took the picture in order to show us the lack of something? How exactly are we to see it when it doesn't exist? You are a strange person... On a serious note, i agree that the picture you took shows nothing at all. He shows that while using protect from missiles, he takes no damage. Also because he takes no damage, he shows that there are no more 0s, and instead it gets replaced by a shield. For a self-proclaimed genius, that was a weak shot at trolling him.
  20. I'd say those two are the same side. No lifing is no lifing, but like your first point, you can hardly use your measures for "no lifing" to judge someone else.
  21. Hey fellow pokemon masters. I recently dug out a GBA link cable, so me and my friend are doing a 40 hour limit RSE battle. I"m using Emerald, and already have a team in mind: Blaziken Ludicolo Swellow Salamence Muk Skarmory Blaziken, Salamence and Swellow are my sweepers. Ludicolo is my spec tank and staller, and Muk will be an exploder. Skarm is obvious for spikes and physical wall. Any ideas on changes? Also, I need to breed for rock slide on Blaze, DDance and Hydro pump on Mence, and leech seed on ludicolo (this one is easy). Do you guys think I'll have enough time? Might also switch Swellow for an Ursaring, but ursarings are really slow =/.
  22. That was embarrasing  I predict a 10 game losing streak for my oilers
  23. Walk around a chat, Or play Castle wars.

I love having it nice and hot in the summer, and then cold in the winter. Would be boring to have it one all year, plus the snow makes everything look pretty. To everyone who is in places like Florida, I'd hate to be there. Especially around Christmas. I was in Jamaica for Christmas last year and it felt so weird not having snow for it that I forgot about it until I saw some poor bastard walking up and down the beach in a Santa suit on Christmas. Definitely would rather be somewhere cold for Christmas, and I don't think I'd mind living somewhere up North if I had to, weather wise anyway Yea, Christmas without snow is just.... weird. I've lived in Beijing, St.Paul, MN, and Edmonton. There's always snow around Christmas time. Although Beijing was 13 years ago. Right now there's no snow in Beijing
  25. It's starting :ohnoes: Why is Renney putting Paajarvi on the 3rd line? Why did he break up Cogs, Brule and Penner? They were doing really good =/ Oh well. will post back in 3 hours  Way to go, Phaneuf just scored.
