Summoning - How Are You Preparing?
I am preparing for the advent of Summoning by developing conspiracy theories about how it will screw up the game even more than it already is.

Abyss rcing autoers now?
Oh noes remove RCing from the game!!11 Teh botz r teh RWTing wif it!!1!one On a more serious note, I've seen a few like that, and I am afraid more will come soon. The trees are overpopulated and therefore not as big of a money maker as RCing.

future skills menu interface?
I like this idea. Having your HP displayed at the bottom would enable Jagex to modify the HP formula so that you get more than one HP per HP level, which is desperately needed in order to keep up with the increasingly high max damage.

RuneScape's logo: Dated compared to MechScape and FunOrb's?
Think back to the mini-games page on Jagex's site where it says "our other multiplayer games will be returning soon in a new suite, but updated and improved with many new features". Jagex have stated in job vacancies that they intend for their mini-game comeback to be used as a launchpad for a later mobile phone game service. It makes sense that their trademark on the term FunOrb relates to their new mini-games brand. FunOrb is another working name for Mechscape.

Ugh, people are so dishonest.
Someone I had known for over a year took my godsword and ran three days ago.

Quick! run for the storm shelter....
Not impossible, improbable. A skilled hacker could breach their server firewalls, but honestly, what's the point? Anyone with the resources and talent would not waste their time.

Tournament Box
Or Jagex could stop making half-assed updates and actually spend a little of their cash on developing a better bank system for the whole game.

30 November 2007 - Party Room Changes
The thing that bothers me most about this update is the spam that the Bankers generate. It's like having five autotypers with the delay setting on 1 second lined up next to each other. :wall:

30 November 2007 - Party Room Changes
Honestly, this is bordering on absurdity. It's unlikely that RWTs could put items in, pull the lever, and then get every balloon before someone else did. I think Jagex is off their rocker.

Should prayer regenerate?
I believe they should have a prayer called Blood Tithe that restores prayer points at the rate of 2 PP per minute, but with each prayer point you gain you lose one HP.

Looks like [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation]. The d chain and platebodys still have the antiquated look to them.

Goodbye, my final thoughts on Jagex, RS and where its headed
+1 to everything. You hit the nail on the head, and it's exactly why I plan to leave after December unless Jagex pulls a miracle. By the way, how can you honestly think the game is getting better? Come on, man, are you that naive? The economy is in ruins because of the poorly implemented Great Exchange and the absolutely horrible idea of destroying staking. Rumors are abundant that soon Jagex will remove trading; for people to even consider something so ludicrous as a possibility says that the community is terrified of and does not respect Jagex at all. That wouldn't have happened if they had "made the game better." RuneScape is in a Dark Age. It'll pass though, because all the people who were here for the staking/GE will eventually say enough is enough and throw in the towel. Then, they will be replaced by naive children who don't know any better (and therefore assume how things are now is how they have always been) and once again, the problems will be brushed under the rug. It's a cyclical effect. Jagex doesn't give a damn about their players; whatever they say is just lip service to preserve their reputation. They know that the players who become veterans will leave; but it doesn't matter because they are expendable, and Jagex abuses that knowledge to the extreme...

WC'ing and burning oaks in a f2p world. Drop traders ftw? Srsly. It's so frustrating, because they'll never get in trouble for it. It'd be nice if they lagged out and died to a random.

Armadyl GS Overrated? :$
Something I noticed the other day: The Zamorak Godsword has a hidden damage amplifier on its special attack. I was slaying Dark Beasts wearing a Neitiznot Helm, Fire Cape, Berserker Ring, Pros top and bottom, Dragon Boots, Barrow Gloves, and a Fury. I killed over 50 dark beasts, and I never hit over 40 with regular attacks (although I did hit up to 40 numerous times). However, on several occasions, when I used the special I hit a 42, 43, and twice I hit a 44. This leads me to believe the ZGS also has a 10% damage boost on its special attack, but it is not listed in the KB. I was not potted and the only prayer I was using was Protection from Melee, before someone says anything. Also, I know I am only 87 slayer... I was using Wild Pies to kill them, as part of a "slave auction" event my clan has, and the only stats Wild Pies change are Ranged and Slayer (as well as HP but I don't count that.) But other than sheer KO ability, the DFS/whip combo is far more versatile and in many cases superior. For slayer assignments in which you need to pray (Abby Spectres, Dark Beasts, Black Demons, Spiritual Mages) a godsword would be a better choice because of the +8 prayer mod. Basically, for people who have a lot of spare cash, Godswords are an alternative to buying useless garbage (i.e. rares). Yes, they are overrated, but at least they are helpful, unlike rares.

Is it just me?
I died earlier today because of the randoms there. During the peak hours, it's so difficult to see whose randoms are whose, and along with the lag, it's not hard to die. I lost 100k cash and black flowers.

Sorry, Comrade, but Price Controls Don¢¢âš¬¢âž¢t Work
He said the way to fix it was to raise the cap to 20% above or below.

Sorry, Comrade, but Price Controls Don¢¢âš¬¢âž¢t Work
Unless Jagex loosens their price controls, the GE will ultimately fizzle in a couple weeks, after the novelty dies down.

To a minority that play Barbarian Assualt
Btw, you have to use the right food to get the Runner to trigger the trap. If you use the wrong food, the trap won't trigger, even if he is standing on it.

26 November 2007 - The Grand Exchange
If it's only adjusted daily then this update is a failure. Prices fluctuate more quickly than that, and nobody is going to bother standing around for weeks to sell items. The problem is that right now I am trying to sell items for the lowest possible price and nobody is buying. The trading ranges are too narrow. Daily adjustments aren't a bad thing since prices for most items won't be dynamic enough to have huge fluctuations in a single day. In a few days, prices will drop to where the market actually is at and trades will flow smoothly. If you're that impatient, you can sell on the forums. The whole point of this update was to expedite and facilitate trading. It succeeded in some areas but failed in most others. People will still primarily use World 2 and the forums to buy/sell.
