  1. I think dual wielding would be restricted to smaller weapons such as daggers and wc axes and short swords so as not to over power it. Plus you would most likely attack slower.
  2. With more internet-savvy kids out there, all they'll do is Google search the answer. I don't think there's any real way to keep underage kids out of Runescape.
  3. Good luck! 100% F2P is totally FTW!!! I love pure F2P blogs, especially bank pics :o Man, 99 smithing can be very tedious :ohnoes: I'll be back here, definitely.
  4. Yes. Because he chose to put in honest effort into the game. That does not make him a no lifer though, he may simply have a lot of time on his hands despite all he does with friends/family/work/chores, etc... Buying Gold is just an easy way out of having to spend more time on the game.
  5. I think the 3/10 on graphics is a little biased, as you do not take into account that this is an Internet Browser-based game tailored to almost any computer, and therefor the graphics need to be of a certain quality. Definitely rewrite it based on the Graphics update we should be getting in a while.
  6. I also agree with them being discontinued =\ I'm just not going to restate the argument, as many other have already said it ^_^
  7. Actually, Runescape is a highly competitive game. Players compete for resources and training spots and monster kills every day. The fact that Bots, who are trying to make Gold for RWT, are thrown into the mix devalues the game for everyone doing these things. It's no more fun, because all the good training spots for various skills are filled with Bots, thus turning players off from the game.
  8. That's the thing though, we don't hate Pker's/pures in general. It's true that we don't have to read/reply, but we'd rather keep bothering you about it because of the fact that you keep stating completely ridiculous things. You keep making these Wilderness topics and things about how much you hate Jagex, and I promise you, I'll not stop asking you to leave the game if you hate it so much, nor will a number of people. There's no cover up, the Wilderness is never going to be the same again and apparently you hate all those pvp games we already have. So really, what are you doing on RS? You critically bash skilling, surely you can't be doing that? Monster killing then, perhaps? I really do want to know, why do you continue to stay on RS and an RS-related forum instead of finding some other game? Side note" you should probably stay on topic too, eatrunearrow. Don't want to get your own thread locked for spamming, do you? :P
  9. Fixing old content and skills would be ideal for me~ I'd really like to see Jagex buckle down and work their [wagon] off on some things that desperately need attention.
  10. You can't actually say it's a fact unless you have facts proving it. It could just be coincidence, ya know? I deny that they released it a month later to cover up the wilderness removal or the implement of the G.E. So there =| Also, you know there's an edit button to add to or change your posts, right? There's no real need to keep posting new consecutive replies every few minutes... are you trying to increase your post count or something? :P A great many "Lol"'s to you, and a reminder to stop playing if you're so damn bored with the game, -Blood
  11. I know many of you are saying that the parents can't blame Jagex for their kids behavior, but this will. Ever hear of a scape-goat? Or Jack Thompson? He blames video games in general for 99.9% of all killings and high school shootings and the like. He says that video games should not have violence in them at all, that parents are doing the right thing banning video games. But the real problem lies in the parents. Parents don't monitor what their children are playing, and decide that it's entirely the video games' faults for bad behavior, not their own negligence. So if parents find out that Jagex has allowed for a censor removal aspect to the game, then chances are many parents would decide to shift the blame to Runescape and Jagex before taking the heat themselves. Parents are, after all, human too. I'm not saying these people are bad parents, I'm saying that there is a chance of them not wanting to seem like a bad parent for not monitoring their children's internet behavior.
  12. Not only that, but Jagex also uses the word hell numerous times in their game. Hell hounds? hell rats, cats? Some music tracks have the word in them too! So what the hell??
  13. Oh well, boo hoo. How many times have we told you, eatrunearrow, that if you absolutely hate these updates, quit? Many players are agreeing that the past updates are good and have helped Runescape. You and a few others seem to always try and find the darker side of things. Cover-up theories... You just can't be happy with the multiple pvp games we already have, can you? What is it you're looking for? A giant place to run around and kill whoever you want? BH parallels high leveled wilderness quite nicely. One-on-one? Duel Arena! "It's all for the greater good."
  14. I just can't understand the OP of this topic. They're not releasing crappy updates. Oh, and if you haven't noticed, Jagex is still getting memberships, so the "thousands" of people who quit are rapidly being replaced. Not to mention, this is the summer, where most kids have off and therefor are buying memberships. That's a bit contradicting, isn't it? The last part sounded an awful lot like a rant to me. So I conclude with a "roflcopter" and say that these updates have only weeded out many of the disloyal players and cheaters, not those who can actually stick with this company through tough decisions they know is for the greater good.
  15. Yepp, I personally think it's a good thing! Getting rid of all those RWT scum... So I can't give my friends some cash or a birthday present? I would rather see all the cheaters, who payed for gold rather than earned it, gone.
  16. yanksrule, I agree with you xD I certainly see no point in flashy armors and swords and the like. I can't stand all the other F2Per's running around bragging about their gold trimmed rune armor. I personally think it's ugly! But at the same time, I'm a hypocrite. I recently bought a Santa Hat on my other account, because I love how they look and people can see this expensive item and know that I must be rich or have high levels. But I think in the case of rares, there can always be an exception for those who want the item because they think it shows off hard work, dedication and all the effort they put into obtaining that through skilling.
  17. Well, no, that's not true. We have Ad's that generate a huge some of money. We contribute to the game more or less in the same fashion as you do, just not directly nor to such a scale. Also, this isn't us "complaining". This is us debating whether or not F2P should have skill capes, or some other form of recognition of having a 99 in a skill. So we're not begging for it in this thread, we don't think that we deserve nothing even though we don't pay Jagex directly, we don't act entitled to updates. Small rant  : I hate all you anti F2P update people, you want to know why? You never, EVER change your argument! It's always about us not paying to play. God I hate that so much! Almost all the suggestions that I've seen for changes to the game that involve F2P have been flamed! For the same reason! And these changes even benefit the game, too; help out many players. But NO! You've gotta go bat [cabbage] insane about it because it involves us "free-loaders", us "poor people", us "lazy people"!!!

You know, if they find out that you're innocent, I'm pretty sure that the chicken suit noob gets a few black marks for misuse of customer support. Rule 10 So don't worry dude, Justice will prevail!
  19. Technically we also have Monkey bones that give you 5 Prayer exp instead of the regular 4.5. But it's entirely possible to get high levels of Prayer, you just need to either train a lot or have a lot of money (just like F2P Runecrafting...)
  20. Good luck! I'm more or less aiming for the same goal :P F2P rocks!
  21. Wow, 50mil Ranged exp in F2P is gonna take a while~ Good luck! F2P rocks! xD
  22. I wasn't targeting you. And I'm not speaking of the population using dial-up, but those who are using cable/DSL. It is quite easy to find another game, a simple Google search for an MMORPG games list, has yielded quite a few browser based games to me in the past, which I've tried (though weren't to my liking). Browser based games require little to no downloads, especially not "massive download at the begining/huge hundred of MB size file updates". I am very educated in the matter of internet download speeds, as well as many other computer-related matters, so I do know what kind of predicament you're in AND I sympathize with you for having such a slow internet, so don't worry. But again, I am ONLY referring to those who ARE CAPABLE of searching for another game, yet choose not to do so. Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not trying to pick a fight with you or something.
  23. It's just a simple reward that F2P can buy. I don't exactly like newbies bragging, but to them it's expensive, as they're just starting out, right? There's no other point to trimmed/God armor except for looks, that's all.
  24. Bloodkay replied to shinikami's topic in Rants
Yes, I know, I can read. I was talking about a Bounty Hunter world, not to mention one the the original F2P Canadian worlds, which was the busiest. World 17 is almost always at a constant max-out during peaks times, which is optimal for training. I do realize there is a decline in F2P activity in other worlds, but as people said, this is the summer holidays and F2P kids are bound to buy memberships for the summer.
