LRC are way, way faster than aviansies, I'm pretty sure.

How on earth am I supposed to make 930m gp to get my skills to 99?
It kinda is, turmoil being around 8-10% more strength and attack, that means 8-10 more levels without potted stats (not sure how they stack). Extremes are 7 added levels.

Frozen door (New)
The door has to be opened by praying at the four altars in the four boss rooms within 20 seconds of eachother. E.g. you need a team./nightmare I'd prefer a high dg requirement to a kc requirement. 90 sounds good.

Overloads vs extremes
Yes, I know. I guess that should be 'or'. But I'd really get both, as ovl is a boost over extremes (like turmoil), and normal prayers have eagle eye + piety, which is nicer than turmoiling all the time if you don't have steel titan (imo). Ranging is so slow.

A very nice alternative (imo) would be to get 88 summoning through slayer and do tds with your first two chaotics (rapier and crossbow). They're about equal money and effigies and charms than frosts (more with steel), but less combat xp and harder to get used to. They don't, however, require a yak.

Overloads vs extremes
For slayer, turmoil. For tds, I'd get a unicorn and overloads (because soul split isn't going to heal you very much at tds, and overloads will allow you to brew).

Bandos Items
If the new gear has no strength bonus, I think Bandos will remain superior for slayer and perhaps dks if it also has no prayer bonus (less mage penalty than most plates & the ranged defence is probably the least likely to be improved on).

What to buy with 90k tokens
Don't bother with the smithing scroll until later, it's not quite worth it (pretty much like herbicide/bonecruncher). I'd get the scroll of cleansing and arcane stream necklace, then keep the rest for the second chaotic you will eventually want :).

Equipment Advice
Use extremes, very much worth getting them even if you need to stew. Also, use a fire cape, unless you need prayer bonus to last a task (e.g. never).

Melee Slayer
Yay this one again: [hide] The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +15 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +25 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. [/hide] Now that puts overload before steel titan because I assumed people would be training slayer to get into bosshunting, a steel titan might actually be nicer. Extremes boost your level by up to 26. After 6 minutes, you'd be at +20. If you had used overloads, you'd have had 26 all the time. So if you repot every 6 levels lost, you'd average level 123, with overload being 3 levels higher. Supers are up to 19 boost, so if you were to repot every 14 levels (really bad idea) ovl would be like getting another extreme upgrade. Assuming you repot at a more decent rate, it's only a few more levels, but still nice. I don't exactly know if it's correct to average like that but I guess it'll be close enough :P.

Tasking with cannon
Cannoning metal dragons can be/seem a bit of a waste, and if you have a steel titan and are on a budget, meleeing them in the chaos tunnels resource dungeon is also quite fast. Other than that I'd just cannon what you can.

Farming.
I'd do this, just torstol all the way from 85 to 99 and make a nice bit of cash to fund pretty much any 99 you want (or a few of them).

Power training range
Living rock creatures.

Soon Gonna Return to Runescape
Suggestion: quest cape and do tds a bit. They're fairly easy to welfare and probably some of the better money available to you.

Just so you guys know...
Funny blog, thank you :). Also the appropriate condolences to you for hearing those questions.

Do Mage-Attack Boosting Prayers Help Mage Defense?
It would make more sense if augury did boost magic defence. However leech magic + leech defence is probably still superior (I sure hope so, I hate using prayers).

Behind the Scenes - January
I don't like how they explained the trapping of Nex. I mean, he's maybe as powerful as Azzanandra, who is a lot less powerful than a god, but he's locked up by a Saradominist crusade. That makes sense to me, crusades tend to be powerful. But apparently that single crusade was as powerful as four god wars armies? Ah well it could make sense considering that the God Wars armies today are probably tiny anyway. I think Nex awoke only after the temple had been closed and the armies weakened. Hope I can get a team for that boss.

200M in all Skills
Chinning is more like 350k/hr+ with deflector, steel titan, extreme ranging etc.

Rock Lobster Bursting
I know it's worth it, I just don't like to switch to inferior prayer items. I use the 4 highest items I own (sw cape, stole, pros plate and fala 3) but if I used battle robes I'd have to bring 2 more items or have less pray bonus. It may be worth mentioning that the robes are hardly efficient at decent incomes, especially with bursting.

How on earth am I supposed to make 930m gp to get my skills to 99?
You're still making money on torstol at these prices? Or did you just have a ton of seeds stockpiled? I've been doing lower herbs recently but that's mainly due to the fact that 99% of my money is in dragon bones atm. Juju potions are your friend :).

999134thpure, a blog
Awesome, good luck.

How on earth am I supposed to make 930m gp to get my skills to 99?
I'd say, don't pay a single gp on your farming, but do torstol all the way. It's slow, but extremely profitable. As in, I've made hundreds of millions (paid for turmoil and overloads) and I'm still only 94 farming.

Combat training
Yep, crapier would mean str > atk > def, whip means controlled.
