Has nothing to do with capitalism. It has to do with avarice and a lack of morals. Considering that capitalism is based on individualism, which stresses the moral worth of the individual over society, family, etc, then yes it does have very much to do with capitalism. Also economics in general with Game Theory & Nash Equilibrium, but that's a bit of a stretch.

I'd assume the exp to be pretty bad, especially since you're wasting damage potential by killing monsters with low lp (Like killing chickens with cmaul). I remember waaaay back in the day that cannoning ice trolls was break-even, but yeah most of the current methods just make up for the gp loss in charms/effigies.

There's actually some doubt about that. When the objectives system was still around, you could set your farming level to any level that didn't give immediate rewards (like level 83 = spirit tree, etc.). It would tell you that higher farming levels either got better harvests or less deaths. (I forget which of the two it is.) Of course, that doesn't at all mean it's correct, by any means. But in my mind, it certainly does cast a little doubt. I do feel like on the road to 99 farming, my yields have steadily gotten better, but of course that's horribly un-scientific, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm pretty sure there would've been data confirming or denying by now, and all the responses to this question on these forums seems to be that level doesn't affect yield...that said why can't JaGeX employees confirm things with others before writing guides/text ingame :wall: .

It should also be noted that herb yields/deaths are not affected by your farming level as your OP seems to imply; just use supercompost/magic secs and get scroll of life/juju farming pots asap and you'll do fine.

Levels are always better than armor, items can be lost but you will always have you levels; equipment-wise though I'd go for a fury, Verac's Skirt, any decent barrows melee top except Verac's, and then go for a SW cape.

That's also on average so you might end up losing money, banking might also take a little time. Personally I'd just sell the keys and save myself the hassle, but if you like a little gamble go ahead.

Id be less concerned about supply and demand and more about sheer willpower, I tried training magic with humidify banking (I filled vials back then) and it was mind-numbing, ended up just using a fishbowl (Left-click to dump, put over the Humidify icon and it's like alching kinda) for all the casts I had bought.

Well I wouldn't sell your whip at any rate, it's a standby weapon that you can always use with very good results. I'd only sell things that you can use a decent substitute for like selling claws and using dds as spec wep.

I would do that but i have no idea what the inv/gear is for that Prolly just Prossy + SW Cape to pray ranged from the cannoners, maybe Verac's Skirt or something to protect you from the misc melee damage, and an invy with a super set and quite a few pray pots; I've never done this, it's just a guess. Try that out and if it doesn't work think about why and how to resolve it (Ex: taking too much melee damage? Then add in gear with more melee def, etc.).

Then they shouldn't design something to look "epic" In this game, you play by the numbers. The reason you see boss hunters in the same gear because that gives you the best numbers. Sure something may look cool, but you want the best numbers so you can get more numbers. Primal helmet may look good, but its numbers are less then a shadow hood. If you ask someone what herbs they should farm, you are going to tell them the best one to do for money. The best numbers to do to get more numbers. Off-Topic, but I can sense a Zero Punctuation watcher; he was talking about the circular logic of bossing to get better drops to bossing better, here we dung to get tokens for outside use and better weapons help increase the rate that we get tokens, so it's a little different than what he was talking about. OT: If you really care about looking good in full t11 armor then get a 99/120 dung cape and do the emote a lot; but I do agree that having drops that will only help in the next dung if you bind it is pretty useless, maybe it'd be more interesting if you were able to keep the drop from the boss for the next dung you do but then it disappears.

Limit to the number of certain items you can get every 4 hours, and that you can only sell something you just bought off the ge after 4 hours have passed. Ex: you can only buy 100 battlestaffs and 100 of a certain herb seed every 4 hours.

Even before the seconds you need to catch either common or draconic(?) jadinkos for the herb seed drops. Also, just a strategy for when you have everything you need and your first batch of Ugune is fully grown: pick one herb, make a farming pot with it, and the drink it and finish harvesting the herb with your boost.

Most teams nowadays just straight up melee and don't even bother with ZGS, it's complete trash.

Kwimbob That sounds great. You start getting free longswords 1 tier below top tier for any complexity, and those are good. But yeah, if you get top tier, that'd be great (I have a katagon long locked in, myself). :shock: i havent seen you in years. I would bind a surgebox for ammo and the highest 2h sword you can equip I would recommend laws over surgebox for an ammo bind until you hit occult/warped floors (Doesn't it become very useful starting at warped floors?). EDIT: If I have the same floor open as you sure I'll DG with you, add me if you want. I'm not all that great tbh, I just follow directions of the keyer very well, but we can learn together :P .
