  1. The problem is that most of the people looking to establish permanent teams or groups are very high levels, as in 90-100+ reqs. With the time commitment, the need to coordinate floors, and the difference in levels you just have to grim and bear 117 or try and make a group from friends you meet. I personally don't mind 117 that much, I've only had a few people rage quit on me; I just go in expecting to take 1:30 and I don't mind if that happens since I have the mindset of I have nothing better to be doing.
  2. I'd also like to visually see quivers when using a raged weapon, the best we have right now is accumulator (Or w/e after desert monkey quest) and that's more of a backpack than a quiver; I just want something like the ancient rangers have in Zaro's Stronghold in GWD.
  3. Killing the dinos instead of trapping reduces floor exp, and it's usually not worthwhile to trap them so I just leave them alone. More OT: Already knew this, but still a helpful hint when the occasional dragon shows up. EDIT: To below, I've heard it around the community both here and on rs, even if it isn't true it reduces the amount of rage quitters and I don't usually get much out of killing them anyway.
  4. Probably that the handcannon deals too much range damage and then the TD prays range so the titan can't hit, with xbow you deal a decent amount and then the titan finishes off the rest (Assuming, never actually done TD's but I think that's what Grimy's getting at).
  5. Even with 11.3 months to go :P , very creative!
  6. Try this, also if you use mousekeys you can just constantly press 5 on your number-pad instead of clicking, less chance of moving the cursor accidentally.
  7. Combat mage is a no-no if you want the most mage exp possible, a lot of the gloves will be burned on giving extra hp exp (Unless that's something you want...). I'd do Plankmake, Hunter Kits, String Ammy, or Alching; all pure mage exp methods and a few of them are afkable so you can do homework or procrastinate in some other fashion.
  8. What's with everyone saying this. It's possible to have free trade without old wildy. ... and it's certainly possible to have the old Wildy without free trade ... Not really, if you consider the fact that everything from your opponent will drop on death then restricted trade will be completely irrelevant: if they bring back old wildy it would be ridiculous not to bring back free trade as well. And for the other position: why maintain the droptable and statuettes that continue rapid inflation if bots can simply transfer the wealth via trading? I agree with SirHatlar here, one without the other would be ineffectual. Reallly -- how many "honest" (not RWT) PK's did you manage to get in the "old Wildy" that allowed you to obtain HUGE amounts of gear or cash? I don't pk, where did you get that idea from in my post? I'm saying that if either one of the two elements was implemented bots could easily transfer large sums of wealth to their customers, so keeping the other stricter would have no effect on RWT but it would continue to aggravate large swaths of the player base. To respond to another thread you posted on arguing much the same point: it's not that the two are integral to each other per-se, but the community views them as together since they were both taken away at the same time for the same reason, RWT. If one but not the other was implemented the community would question the legitimacy of the decision and continue protesting to bring the other back, and JaGeX would have very little legitimate claims to not bring it back.
  9. Also the fact that all the Ancient mages are alive, whereas spiritual mages died and kept on fighting for their gods after death (Because of their devotion or something); it's not that they should be called spiritual mages but the name's just a little wrong, they are a completely different kind of being.

  11. 1. Will abyss runecrafting be considered for replacement? Given that KOs are much easier now than when the old wildy was removed and thus has a higher chance of being neglected. 2. Will there be more JaGeX support for player-run companies such as law running or ore miners, or will it still be squarely on the shoulders of the founders? 3. Will this affect the way NPS shops work in any way? -Lioness 32
  12. The limits haven't really affected me yet, so I could care less and will continue to buy what I always have; I think more of the hype is that people won't have to use junk to get street value for their rares anymore.
  13. ^ You could use them on defense, unless you're keeping it at 85 for a reason...(Just noticed your siggy, have fun with that) EDIT: It makes sense for me, Jagex said it's basically BXPW for combat but in glove form, and last time it didn't work for pray and barely worked for summon so it has a precedent.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised and in fact I'd probably say it would be very logical for them to do so. It's just way too easy as it is now. Perhaps make the wolf more like present bosses (lower combat level and with distinctive attacks) and make them all instanced? Or you could even make them like the old random events, with the combat level based off the player's combat level. Randomly when playing Runescape, you'll get jumped by the wolf and only you can attack it. This way players can't actually go out and hunt for it, but since they have 4 weeks to get a single encounter... Pretty reasonable, the present boss have a lower level just because their hp pool is 10x lower. Half of nex's combat level is HP, Jad would easily go over 900lv if it have 20k hp as well. Anyway, is training combat on this wolf feasible after the hype? It doesnt seem to have high defence but does hit hard like a rev. I don't think it gives any combat exp, that's what everyone was saying when I was killing it.
  15. Did you sell essential items to buy the masks? Can you still function with the remaining cash that you have? If times seem desperate now and you have to make a terrible deal to get rid of them then just hold onto them and try and rebuild your wealth. Even if the masks don't fully recover you'll probably find some time more favorable to sell them than now; you could even use them as bargaining chips if you're looking to get into the higher rares market. Until the market becomes more predictable and lower wearable rares stop crashing I'd just hold onto them and continue 'scaping as usual if that's possible.
  16. Once statuettes are removed inflation shouldn't be as big of an issue as it was before, and most raw materials are crashing which may signal that we're already in a deflating market; I think further cash sinks should wait until the market steadies itself a bit.
  17. Pretty sure you can find the prices using the GE link from the rs homepage, you can ask about speculation for those items here but their prices are not that difficult to determine at the moment.
  18. For dung training it's recommended to tear/lamp/misc. exp rewards to f30-40 and then solo to maybe 50-60sih, but at higher levels it's much faster to group later dungeons. Ummm, Nomad's Requiem gives a cape with a +12 prayer bonus, other than that can't recall too many quests of note (I quest for story, not rewards, so I don't know which ones would be a priori; I forget when While Guthix Sleeps was released but if it was after summoning that's also a good quest to do).
  19. In that case you should sell them as soon as they start rising, because cash is king in a deflating market.
  20. Just ask around 144 for suiciders, it's not that difficult.
  21. I guess I can't stop you now, but you do realize in the time you've wasted making the extremely low level potion you could have EASILY made the extra 20mil for faster exp and you wouldn't be wanting to gouge your eyes out from boredom; it's your money and your training method but you're wasting a lot of time and will have no supplies to make extremes, and no useful untradables like super antifire or spec rests.
  22. If you already have the obsidian charms then use them, but if you have to collect them just make geyser titans. I collected the obby charms for a while during slayer tasks, but it can become tedious with banking and they don't provide a huge benefit.
  23. I wonder if the new armor degrades faster in multi like chaotics, that might make the recharge cost more of a pain for some bosses.
  24. +1, especially for armor sets if I only use part of it, the different parts being at different stages of degradation is just too much.
  25. Heh, the Angel of Death says otherwise :P (Just messing with you, I'm sure in a couple of days it'll all be mapped out and strategic).
