Chinning VERY Fast
From what a few of my friends told me, the max xp/hour you can get with chnning is around 250k or so. I don't think this was with void, so probably somewhere around 280k/h for you. I do not think that using a titan is advisable, because it would only attack one of the skeletons, and not all of them, so one skeleton would always be dying early, which would lower your average xp/chin. I would say you might need around 8-9k chins.

21-Sept-10 Gunnar's Ground
so they nerfed the cannon at frost dragons? is this true? and why on earth did they do this?
-
Does Ext range pots affect the cannon?
I am fairly certain that void does increase the damage that the cannon does. At least from what I have seen, it does.

Tip.It Times - 19th September 2010
Both articles made some points that I agreed with. However, from the first article. Herblore is not really as hard or expensive to train as people make it out to be. For the low levels at any rate. I managed to get up to 65 herblore making potions from MTK only. Then, doing pengs with a friend, and cashing in points every 3 weeks, while using MTK herbs and farming 15-20 avantoe seeds a day (3-4 runs), I managed to get to 76 herblore. At this point, I had just under 10k avantoe banked, from farming, which was enough for lvl 81. My profit from the herbs, nests, and seeds I didn't use from MTK covered the cost of the avantoe seeds, and the cost of paying my workers. With extra to spare. Now, after lvl 81, yes, it is incredibly expensive, and my total cost is around 200m getting to 95. But 81 is a decent herblore level, and more then enough for any quests. Long and short of it. [hide=My miniguide to casual herblore] 1) Pick one potion you want to make to level up. (I advise either super energies or super attacks) 2) Buy lots of that seed (I would pick a cheaper seed, e.g. avantoe, irit) 3) Start farming, try to get at least 2 runs a day, or try for 100 herbs a day. 4) DO PENGUINS EVERY WEEK! 5) Find something to do between herb runs, I chose slayer. 6) Just be patient, don't worry about prices of the herbs you are farming, don't even think about leveling herblore. You will have 65 herblore easily in 3 weeks, while profiting, with this method. And 81 should take around 2 months, depending on how many times you farm, and whether you miss penguins or not. [/hide] About the second article. I agree with the name change problem, I have some friends who change their name constantly. And it gets very confusing. I think that this problem could be solved somewhat by having a right click option "view display name history" on their name. Then, it would bring up a window that started with their original account name, and gave you every name they have gone through, in reverse chronological order, down to their current name at the bottom. That is what I think would help vastly. And probably limiting it to one change every 2 months, instead of every 4 weeks.

My first Waterfeind task
Without prayer: With Prayer: Pretend those Uni scrolls are bunyip scrolls. You use bunyip scrolls to eat the raw fish the waterfiends drop. You need the cooking level to cook the fish, so 80 cooking is almost necessary because waterfiends drop raw sharks. The scrolls are what allows you to stay for a while, you burn through the food you have pretty fast. I also re-pot when I reach 7 levels above my attack level, if I am using supers. With extremes, it's more like 11-13 levels above. Experiment around with the prayer setup, I don't pray there much, so you might need more or fewer prayer potions. I hope you are using the Fairy Ring to get in to the ancient cavern, I highly suggest unlocking that. Summon the first bunyip just before you go inside, at the obelisk near the fairy ring. This gives you a handy inventory spot to put those crimson charms into. If you have extremes, use them obviously. You can also wear a seers ring for more mage defense. But that should give you the basic idea. I definitely recommend getting a full slayer helm. The +10 mage defense that the hexcrest adds makes a noticeable difference on waterfiend tasks.

200M in all Skills
You play Hello Kitty Online Adventure also?!?!?!?!? What is this? Maybe I should give it a try.................................... Oh, and in response to this. [hide] Yeah, i've been testing out different ranging methods there lately, saw you there again today, too bad there are only 1-2 decent servers at any one time... But anyway, i highly doubt sighted mage long+ rune arrows is the best there as karils is both faster with a higher ranged strength, while ranged accuracy isn't tremendously important as traditional range void is better than armadyl. I'm guessing that diamond bolts+chaotic xbos+void(deflector) is actually the very best method, but i'm currently in the process of finding out. Uhm, correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason sighted longbow is better is because it adds accuracy to the cannon aswell, which is the main force when killing frosties, thus making it a better option. The bow you're shooting with isn't that important, and since people are there to make money, diamond bolts + chaotic cbow would be a foolish choice simply because it cuts down on profit alot while not gaining much more usefulness from them. :) You are right in the fact that ranged attack bonus also works for the cannon, but you also have to understand how the cannon works- each added attack bonus doesn't linearly increase the cannons accuracy, so after about 100 ranged attack ranged attack bonus gets irrelevant, quite like how prayer bonus works. Relying on the fact that void range is better to use at frost dragons then armadyl(which i've tested) even though the large(80 or so) difference in ranged attack bonus. Even though cannon does more than 50% of the damage at frost dragons, it doesn't do all the damage, thus your primary ranged attack is still extremely important. The difference of zamorak bow+zamorak arrows and chaotic crossbow+diamond bolts could be as large as 30 kills an hour, as well as alot of xp. I think you off all people should understand the value of xp, so even though one method would be a bit more profitable, it'd make sense to use the slightly more expensive method that gives more xp, since xp also equates to money, and this is particularly true for frost dragons since every dragon you kill is around 25k profit. Right now i've only been able to test 2 handed ranged weapons for their efficiency and arrived at some useful conclusions, but i've not been able to draw any conclusions for any one handed range weapons as i don't have a void deflector yet(and i believe it to be a big part of why range could be better at frost dragons). [/hide] I think that Zarfot claims that cannon accuracy is not only affected by range attack bonus, but also just any attack bonus. For example, using a cannon while wielding a whip will result in more cannon accuracy then using a cannon while holding a adamant scimitar. I am not sure if this is true, I just recall having read it in Zarfot's Mega Slayer Guide. So cannoning while using a CLS+defender might also be more accurate. Like I said, I have not confirmed it, and I don't use a cannon much, so I probably won't, but it does seem like it would be worth testing. EDIT: Here is the quote by zarfot

about boosting
Yes, you can boost to use an agility shortcut.

Rock lobsters spell choice
Ice spells hit higher, and the freeze can be useful if you mess up the lure and need to escape the pile of them. I think ice spells also end up being cheaper mage experience.

How Do You Post?
Umm, I post sometimes, and read far more threads then I post on. Consequently, I know of lots of the people that post on here, while they most likely don't remember my name. Once topics get too long, with no added information in them, I don't usually bother posting.

200M in all Skills
But, to be on topic, I'd much rather play any game that suits me on xbl, web flash based games, hello kitty online adventure and so on rather than do the full attention clicking on skills like WC. Sure, it's slower but it's much more enjoyable and great to use as a break. So now we know what the real runescape pros do.................................... :ohnoes: I think we have posts like that though. Just back somewhere around page 5-15 or so. @stonewall337 I agree. Besides, it is also amusing when people start making up these super intricate threats. I think many of those conversations have found their way onto the "noobs say the funniest things" thread. Always a good laugh.

Aquanites or waterfiends?
Well why not lol? I understand the logic that they are quite an uncommon drop compared to other charms, but there are some monsters which drop them very reliably and very quickly. My main examples would be TD's/Corp. I understand that its slighlty off topic, but you shouldn't be so definitive with your answer  Because even with monsters dropping lots of blue charms, you can still get many many more crimsons at waterfiends. If you are TDing or Corping for money or fun, definitely take the charms, but don't use that as a way to get charms. I know a guy who has over 4k blues from TDs, but if he spent the same time at Waterfiends, he would have far more (im guessing like 15k) crimson charms. For TDing to be worth it for blue charms, you need to be able to get at least 1 blue charm for every 2.1 crimson charms you get at waterfiends. And that is only if you are 89 summoning. At 95 summoning, you need to get 1 blue charm in the time it takes to get 1.8 crimson charms for TDing to be the same charm xp rate as waterfiends.

New Assist CC
I use "ffdn" to get my rc effigys done. Or I just go to the ZMI world. I finally got Herblore effigys out of the way now, and I have quite a few friends with construction, so that isn't as hard for me.

primal battle axe
Start playing with friends, and when you find that boss, make them promise to give you the battle axe. You can get primal on smalls, but it is incredibly rare. Perhaps you can find someone who is lucky at dungeon, and hope it rubs off. It appears to, I've had 3 Shadow Silk hoods come through in the last 7 spiders, which made 2 team members rather happy. Just hope someone feels nice. Is the primal battleaxe better then the prom 2h?

SkillCapes - Overrated?
That.....was a bad example. (considering I've never seen anything close to that....ever....) But you posted a picture of something similar, if I recall correctly. And that would be quite amusing to watch. Perhaps they were using slayer dart? OT: I don't have a skill cape, and for me, it has become some kind of bragging rights. How often do you see a player 90+ Herblore, 85+ Slayer, and 88+ Summoning with no skill capes? My dream is to make it to 96 Summoning, and 96 Prayer, and remain skillcapeless. Unfortunately, this is unfeasible. I will run out of spare hitpoints xp before I get 96 sum. I could however get 96 sum with an untrimmed hp cape. Which is almost as good.

Pro Barrow last forever guide
The PrntScr button is somewhere around the Delete and Insert keys. When you push it, it takes an image of the screen as it is at that second. Then, open up a program that allows you to manipulate images. I normally use PowerPoint, but Microsoft Paint works just as well. Right click and hit paste, or go up to the Edit menu and hit Paste. Crop the image down using the crop tool. In PowerPoint, the crop tool in the Format Image menu. In paint, its the button in the top left of the screen, it has a little blue dashed square on the button. Crop off all the parts you dont need, and save the image as a picture. For PowerPoint, this means right click the image, and hit "save as picture". For paint, just hit save. I usually save my images as .jpg or .png Now, get an account on an image sharing site. I use Imageshack, another one is photobucket. Upload the image onto the site, and click on it. Somewhere underneath the discription of the image should be a box labeled "Forum Code" Copy and paste the Forum Code into your post on here, and the image should show up.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
I just wish the rapier looked nicer. But anyway, idk what I'm gonna get yet. I don't plan on stopping training dungeon after I get 80. But, I was doing f34 5:5 large tonight, and I got a Shadow Silk Hood! At level 71 dungeon, on what is probably like the 10th spider I have seen. So idk how lucky that is, but I think it is pretty lucky, considering I got it, out of the 4 ppl on the pile trying to. Now I kind of feel like I have to continue training dungeon, just cause I have the hood, so might as well use it. w/e, I'm happy. expect a picture in 2 weeks or so with whatever weapon I decide to get.

[hide] And it's also ok to brutally crash people, ignoring/arrogant replying them when being friendly asked to hop, say more provoking things to cause a reaction and then screenie the worst part of the conversation to try and make the person you're crashing look bad by posting it around? I think not. The way I see it, TIFers who have the gear for it appear to be going around crashing people and try to get a reaction out of them just so they can have a nice screenie to post on their precious forums. Pathetic. And I don't see why these posts concerning this subject haven't been removed yet, seeing as the (old) screenie is incriminating aka against TIF rules, and on this thread it isn't even relevant. So to the TIF mods: please remove it, and to the random people trolling: please get to know me better first before judging/trolling. [/hide] I think you guys might be looking for this thread I personally would prefer having pictures of me being a jerk on here, as opposed to having them on, /b/, for example (insert monty python "always look on the bright side of life" song here). But it is the internet, everything is subject to misinterpretation. And pretty much everything can be tracked and found again. Big Brother is watching :ohnoes: *obscure 1984 reference* <--good book btw I agree with Lowc15. On topic, it is kind of crazy that Gertjaars is still approximately 200m ahead Lan. I mean, how long can an inactive player continue to occupy a top spot in this list? I'm going to randomly guess another 6 months, just so hopefully someone will be provoked to do the math and figure it out. :D And randomly saw this on hiscores, but zarfot is the first of the top 6 (really 5 cause gert doesn't play) to get the dungeoneering skill cape. Cool
