  1. Yes you are right, you cannot be stopped from posting on this Runescape fan site, but why are you still posting here? You dislike Runescape, don't play it anymore and rant endlessly on both on the debate threads and the rants about Runescape. I fail to see how your opinions hold any weight now. Cetainly with regard to this thread, that is about the current gameplay, you have made it abundantly clear that Runescape is not for you....so go away! :---) It's a DAMNED FREE WORLD SO WILL YOU PEOPLE SHUT THE HELL UP? CAN'T I DO SOMETHING WITHOUT PEOPLE SCREAMING THAT I HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO IT OR IMPOSING THEIR STUPID OPINION ON ME? Seriously...
  2. Normal players afk and do something non tedious while levelling Before cook x or fletch x skills were tedious, now they are handed to you on a silver platter. SC hammers Addy platebodys easy 99 smithing in less than a month Oh really? Have you bought a skill lately? How many level 99 skills do you have? What [cabbage]. So you're saying you can only AFK buyable skills? You can AFK mine, AFK woodcut, whatever. Think before you write. "Less than a month" I think you missed out the part about playing 6 hours per day or so. Not everyone is a no-lifer like you. Also, you don't need to have cancer to know it's horrible. -------------- Anyway, let's drop the topic.
  3. ... It's a rant, for venting frustration... I obviously know that. However, TC made some very invalid points, such as the community. Excuse me, how is the community filled with "immature" people? Just about everybody that I have met are NOT players that behave like 6-year-old children, yet TC thinks that Miniclip, AddictingGames, etc. made the community immature. All I have to say is, fail stereotyping. -.- I'm a 13-year-old player, yet I do not act like some immature kid. TC obviously thinks he is superior to the most of the RS community just because he started in 2004. Yes, you do. You fail to even acknowledge his points. How is this obviously another troll topic? And how are his points invalid? Btw, the community IS filled with immature people. Just that on TIF, it's relatively better. Also, TC has the right to think he is superior because he started earlier. Although not in terms of skill, or whatever, i mean in terms of what he has gone through over the years. He obviously has more experience than you do on the topic of PvP. All the posts you have made regarding pvp goes like this "Pvp is garbage, the people doing it is garbage, I can't believe it's still in the game". WTF? And you think you're mature? Btw, I'm 16 and I'm not mature, neither is around 99% of the teenage population. You made quite a bunch of immature posts that failed to acknowledge my points too, earlier on. Ok, I'm not saying I'm mature or anything, but in those posts I explained CLEARLY to you why Jagex has to act fast to fix RWT, instead of spending half a year thinking of a solution, yet you ignored my points and continued to make your own claims and criticise Jagex for being too rash, etc. Anyway, this conversation isn't and won't be going anywhere, so why don't we just cut it off? Hey man, I gave my reasons for thinking that Jagex was hasty and that they could've done a better job. I "ignored" your points because I believed Jagex could've done way better. Seriously, you want to tell me multi-way Bounty Hunter was a well thought out solution? But I'm reading Sonic's posts, and all he says is "Damn, I don't even know why pvp still exists, its garbage." You COMPLETELY ignored my posts regarding WHY Jagex had to be hasty and act quickly. I've already said that they had banks threatening to sue them and ban their customers from using their credit cards to buy membership. If you were in their shoes, would you risk being SUED by the banks and have your customers be unable to buy membership through credit cards INSTEAD of just removing the root source of the problem which would result in just minor loss of business compared to if they had not stopped RWTing and get sued? I never said Bounty Hunter was a damned good solution or anything like that. I'm just saying Jagex had the right to be hasty, as I've explained above. Bounty Hunter was a temporary solution just for the sake of "replacing" the wilderness, though I can't say it did its job well.
  4. Good ideas  Maybe something to help mages/whatever against PJers? Bloodlust: 40PP No one can attack the player you're attacking for 30 seconds after your last attack.
  5. Reminds me of a spat of a child who plays a game, is not very good then takes his ball away and says "its rubbish I didn't want to play anyway". Very easy to call me a troll when all you do is post mainly in the rants forum about a game you claim is rubbish and don't play anymore. Grow up and stop being a pathetic child. Very easy to insult people huh? So what if I'm not good at the game. It's boring anyway. You remind me of some no-lifer criticising everyone who doesn't play the game as much as you do or gives the game up. It's a free world. I can do what I want as long as it's not illegal, and not playing a damned computer game isn't illegal.
  6. Your stat's are so low that I could create a lvl 3 today and get those stat's in a week. AND you are F2P what do you know about the member's skills. There are easy 99's. Cooking. Fletching. Anything buyable if you are rich enough. In my opinion mining is now an easy 99 because of the new update. The concentrated ores mine faster with a dragon pick, the bank is close by, and the xp per hour is decent. It still takes time to get 99 mining but the effort compared to moving around getting one ore per rock with old style mining is so much less. It is faster to reach 99 mining now than before and you don't even have to drop ores while powermining. Mining is even easier than 99 wc or fishing now. I'm not complaining I think living caverns was the best update all year. A buyable skill doesn't mean its easy. Does buying something imply that tedium is completely removed? Obviously not. It's just a coincidence that MOST buyable skills are easier than non-buyable ones. Even if you buy 1000 lobsters, for example, cooking experience isn't just going to drop from the sky. You still have to cook them (which is boring). Same for fletching, etc. Smithing is a prime example illustrating my point. Smithing is buyable, agree? Obvious. But is it non-tedious/easy? Very few find it so. It's boring and slow for most people.

  8. Wise words. You can get the illusion Jagex doesn't care about your opinion when: 1. They have already listened, but they're taking a while to put the plan into action. I mean, they're THOUSANDS of ideas Jagex has to put into the game. You can't expect them to do everything at light speed, can you? 2. They think your ideas/opinions are not viable. A prime example of this is PKers screaming for the wilderness to be put back into place. It'll just bring back Real-world trading and cause Jagex to lose money ultimately. Do you want a not-so-good RuneScape or no RuneScape at all? 3. They didn't read your ideas at all. To err is to be human. I'm sure Jagex moderators will miss one or two threads now and then when scanning for good ideas, and you can't blame them. Do you think you can read every thread clearly without accidentally missing one or ignoring one because the title sounds like something stupid? I don't think so. 4. Maybe they have a better idea themselves or got a better one from another player? Who knows?
  9. I support, would make the game more smooth and enjoyable (since it is the upgrade year after all), and not much harm could be done.
  10. Yes, so what if the TOP F2P players only were asked to tour Jagex's company? Is it worth the effort for a tour? In my honest and frank opinion, NO. I don't find raising stats fun. It's quite tedious and boring after getting past some point. I stress that it's my opinion and you have every right to disagree. But I get damned irritated when people try to impose their opinion that the game isn't hard and that I'm a person with no persistence, etc etc on me.
  11. It isn't really discussion. It's regurgitating the same thing the people have said to people EARLIER in the thread. (This isn't really a bump, this thread was at the top of the page when I posted this)
  12. But, unfortunately, the posters are Jagex's customers and they have a duty as a corporation to listen to them. If they don't, they should just get the heck out of industry. Anyways, they chose the age group they currently cater to. No one forced them to. The customers might be Jagex's top priority, but if they suggest idiotic updates that will ruin the rest of the majority of the players' time, why the hell should Jagex listen to them? Don't say "many players want the wilderness back" or whatever. Jagex also has to keep the game running, not shut down due to banks banning their customers from using credit cards to buy RS membership.
  13. Just shut the hell up. It's a free website. You have no right to say that I can't post here just because I don't play RuneScape anymore. Oh wow, I decided not to waste more of my time grinding away at some virtual stats in an online game. Anything wrong with that? For your information, I happen to have other things to do other than wasting my life away trying to get some stats that will be gone in time anyway, UNLIKE you. The forums would be so much better without trolls like you who don't have anything to do other than try and insult people and force your stupid opinion on them.
  14. You know why Jagex doesn't care about most players' opinions? Because those opinions are idiotic, shallow and ridiculous. At least 30-40% of threads are about the anti-RWT updates and how they ruined RuneScape. Jagex has already stated clearly that RuneScape will NEVER be returning to the old state before the anti-RWT updates. Maybe another 20% of threads are completely idiotic and clearly a waste of Jagex's time. This includes trivial issues, pointless crap and such. There are probably a bunch of threads that have such horrible English or the topic-creator doesn't know how to express themselves properly that Jagex doesn't want to listen/is unable to listen.
  15. Oh the irony! <_<
  16. It seems annoying. I don't think it will be hard to fix. Just a few lines of code to remove "autocast" when you switch to a non-magic weapon, like swords, bows, etc.
  17. Another [cabbage] post with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Honestly, if you're going to criticise Jagex, at the VERY LEAST provide a bit of evidence supporting your idiotic claims.
  18. Another eatrunearrow wannabe. "Realistic and necessiry (and its spelled necessary)" my foot. Please. If you're going to criticise something, at least get your freaking facts straight, because no one is going to listen to an idiot who spouts nonsense and gives no data to back up your claims. The Grand Exchange IS NOT THE FREAKING PROBLEM. I don't understand why so many ignorant idiots think so. It's because of inflation, and just because of a more convenient way of trading, inflation is a must? Obviously not. Your logic is ridiculously flawed. Just because the Grand Exchange happened to be an update on the day of the anti-RWT updates, you assume it is the problem for everything that has gone wrong with RuneScape.
  19. I believe Erewhon2 pointed this out to you: You're saying that all of this is not personal attacks on people? Please feel free to show me where I have personally attacked you. If pointing out your lack of game experience and asking you to explain points is a personal attack then you're being very sensitive about this issue. Please feel free to debate Erewhon2's debate points but at least come up with justifications to your points rather than making them and when someone disagrees with you don't attack them. <img src='http://forum.tip.it/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eusa_shhh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-$' /> Oh the irony. Claiming I'm being too sensitive when you quote things like this "Now you're effectively praising the no-lifers and people who play on the computer hours." and "Looks like you never checked the dictionary before you started spouting nonsense eh? You don't need to have cancer to know it's bad." and "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen." AND "My opinion is what I said above. Can't you read?" AND last but not least "Just because you got your 99s or whatever stats the "old" way" and call them "personal attacks". Amazing. -------------------------- Anyway, I'm done with this issue. Reply if you want, I don't care. --------------------------------- My opinion: The game wasn't more fun then. It was tedious and boring. Everything took longer than it should have taken in an online game. A game is about fun, not tedium and grinding skills. There's no way to revert back to the old game. Not that Jagex would do it EVEN IF there was a way to do it anyway, too many people would complain. Face it, the majority of people are lazy and they don't want to skill and grind and do other tedious stuff. They want to have fun. Unfortunately, you're in the minority, and in my honest opinion, Jagex isn't going to change a thing back to its prehistoric state regardless of how much you complain and whine. I emphasise that it is MY OPINION, so don't flame me for disagreeing with your opinion.
  20. I'm pretty sure they were high in demand prior to the update, which is why they always maintained an above average price among the elemental runes. With the stores that provided infinite runes gone, supply < demand. RC is the main source I believe. BTW, why is the spacing for quoted posts so large and unnecessary  If that were true, then why did fire runes drop from 10 to 7 after the update? It depends on your levels I think (probably runecrafting and magic?). Since they said it's PERSONalised shops anyway.
  21. You honestly have no clue WTF you're talking about, do you? just because the most intense Pking you've done has been inside FOG doesn't mean Pking sucks. I'm starting to get the feeling that he wants ®espect from everyone because RuneCrafting is his favourite skill. He has been talking about runecrafting/ GOP on every single post he makes. :wall: Agreed. Who does 3hitm4g3u think he is anyway? Think he has a right to impose his ridiculous opinion that PKing rules on everyone he sees and flame anyone who claims that PKing sucks? Oh I forgot, his opinion is of the highest level of royalty and all of us pathetic peasant forumers have to bow down before his mighty mightniness. [sarcasm]
  22. It's great to be back after revising like mad for the exams. :D Anyway, it seems like the recent living rock caverns was a step in the right direction, though I've never tried it out since I'm F2P, but from the comments it seems that there are "concentrated" rocks or whatever you call it.
  23. Bump. Anyway, when are you going to post the orbs and stuff?
  24. Quite good ideas IMO , but I have an issue with the curse spells. By introducing the new curse spells (e.g. shieldsapper, musclemelter, whatever), you aren't solving the problems related to the original curse spells (e.g. confuse, whatever) in the first place. Isn't this about balancing magic, not introducing some new spells to make the old ones even more redundant and useless?
  25. Show me something I have said about you that isn't true. I don't need to insult you. You're doing a good job of a tantrum on here now, for all to see. I think Erewhon2 pointed out quite a number of attacks you made. You can keep acting like a little boy or you can grow up. Up to you. Show me something that I said about you that isn't true. Children don't know how to step away from a fight and let the other party win. You're the one doing so. I've already stopped arguing with you, yet you press on.
