"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Most all boys schools have social events with other schools (usually all girls schools) for the five guys who aren't gay. Start going to those if your school does them. If not, get into another social activity based on your interests. Play an instrument? Join a chamber group at a local music school. Maybe there are casual night classes offered for young people at a local college. Anything where you interact with people is an opportunity to meet girls.

Tip.it Fantasy Football?
I don't know much about NFL or Fantasy Football. I probably won't be in but I'd love to learn more about it. What do you need multiple people for? I always thought it was just a one-player thing. Or do we all play against each other?

I need some advice. I'm thinking about dropping Spanish next year because of a scheduling conflict. This would leave me with only three years of foreign language. I'm aiming to get into a decent liberal arts college (I don't know which). My GPA isn't great because I've been slacking, but I plan on bringing it up. The problem is that not having four years of foreign language could prevent me from getting into many colleges. I went on collegeboard.com and found that the average recommendation was three years, while many did say four, but it was all "recomendations". I don't want to end up in a situation where this decision limits the colleges I can apply to. So my question is for anyone/everyone who knows about applying to American colleges. Would losing a year of foreign language be a bad decision? If a college recommends four years, and I only have three, will that prevent me from getting in, or is it only a guideline?

Wtf. Everything has always been like this. Any terrorist would have to be an idiot to attack right now, seeing as there is so much focus on whether or not being a Muslim makes you terrorist and we are in the process of withdrawing troops from the Middle East.

Most overrated band/artist
Right. The problem is that while many bands may have been revolutionary in their time, they don't seem so great looking back on it. Nirvana comes to mind.

Most overrated band/artist
What makes you say The Beatles are overrated? And all rap? I'd be willing to bet Naraku hasn't spent much time listening to rap, other than the mainstream crap. It's not that unusual to not like rap. If he doesn't like songs where there isn't any singing, I would understand why he wouldn't bother searching for rap that isn't full of auto-tuning and rich guys talking about how badass they are. Fort Minor=Good rap, mostly. And Eminem has some decent stuff. As for the Beatles, I sort of agree. I like some of their songs, but there are people out there who are just crazy about them. People like to act like they were gods when really they were just druggies with some musical talent. Seriously, when someone quotes "We Are the Walrus" it's gone too far.

1. I don't believe Islam =/= terrorism. I believe that some Muslims are terrorists. 2. I have admitted the possibility that the mosque is built for good intentions or even no intentions. I just think the bad intention is a possibility too. 3. I don't recall ever saying which possibility is the most likely, and if it sounded like that then I'm sorry. Besides, this has nothing to do with "likelihood", and saying so would indicate some sort of generalization. "The Islamic, more often than not, are not using mosques as symbols of conquest." Where did you obtain this piece of knowledge? Alright. I believe, perhaps incorrectly, that these people can be trusted and that their community center is nothing more than a place to practice their religion. I base this belief on the fact that the man in charge has repeatedly spoken out against terrorism. It is possible that there are Muslims who see this as a symbol of victory. However, not allowing it to be built or having it moved would be unconstitutional and offensive to those Muslims who are innocent.

If mankind invented the teleporter...
I would definitely use it given the info you've given us. Realistically, there would probably be some sort of risk of accidentally moving your nose to your crotch and vice-versa. Since there isn't really any solid idea for this, we can't say what the potential complications could be.

[bleep] you. Don't make fun of my avatar. Of course you say that now after the videos have been posted. It's much easier to say I don't believe this video exists until I see it, and therefore any arguments citing this video are invalid. So by saying "it's much easier to say" you weren't actually saying it? lol Much easier than going on youtube to find a video to disprove. I never called you a liar, I just said you hadn't posted proof. Notice the irony here: While you are offended by me saying I don't believe you without solid proof, you refuse to believe that Muslims in NYC aren't closeted terrorists, even when they have specifically spoken out against violence and extremism. Not in terrorism. They did move to America, did they not? Not the wisest of things to say when you initiated the argument with personal attacks. However, coming from a completely one-sided person, I guess it's to be expected. If I have offended you, I am sorry. I did not intentionally make any personal attacks. I am no more one-sided for believing that Islam=/=terrorism than you are for believing otherwise. I have admitted there is a possibilty that some of these people sympathize with terrorists. You refuse to accept the fact that it is unlikely, and any sort of action on this assumption would not only be ridiculous, but would be offensive to those Muslims who were innocent.

That's the Palestinian ice cream truck. They're happy because he stocks a larger ice cream sandwich, there's a kid waving one around at the end. The vid is sort of hard to see though. I agree with all of the text in this video. My sound was not on, but I suspect they were speaking a foreign language because the lips didn't match. What I saw was a nonviolent protest in which the citizens of a nation complained about that nation's flaws. Had he said "Aight brahs tomorra we put some bombs on trains" it would be a different story, but that looked to me like the average criticism I see from non-Muslim citizens every day. Zierro, I did not say you were lieing. I just said it makes it difficult to argue about a video if you haven't actually shown us the video. Now you have, but my arguments still hold that not only was it "Ten freaking years ago", but also one video out of context of a few people celebrating proves nothing about modern American Muslims living in NYC. You asking me to say there is a possibility this is a secret act of terrorism is the same as me saying there's a possiblity our presidents are lizard men. Sure, it's possible, but it's ridiculously improbable. Any chance that this altar will be used in support of terrorism is completely outweighed by the fact that NOT building an altar is just giving the terrorists more ammunition. Your personal attacks are not appreciated.

Omegle.
Here's a fun one: Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? When the stranger tries to tell you it's incoherent, say he must be foreign. Ask him which language he would prefer to speak in, then say he isn't making any sense, and all you wanted to know is if anyone has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

What language do you think in?
I think mainly in English, but occasionally have a word pop up in another language (mostly Spanish, because that's what I've studied). This usually happens when I can't remember the English word, or it just doesn't exist. I'd love to have a dream in another language someday. It probably won't happen, as I've heard you need to really submerge yourself. I won't be staying in Spain for 5 years anytime soon.

If you fail I shall kick you in the face with my hand while it's in the shape of a ball. Well good, we wont need to resort to said measurements. The boss said I have a 1/3 chance to get the job and was impressed by my self-appearance, experience and personality. I sense a booze night coming along. Send a typed thank-you letter (by snail mail). It shows that you can use computers comfortably, are professional/follow up on stuff, and can write english well. You still have a 2/3 chance of failing. Don't party yet.

Mosque at Ground Zero
oh. So were you not born yet...? And please don't try to troll. GO youtube it. cba NO U. Why should we go search for mysterious phantom videos of evil Muslims to prove your point just to look for inaccuracies in said videos? It's much easier to say I don't believe this video exists until I see it, and therefore any arguments citing this video are invalid. To whoever said he doesn't like Muslims who haven't spoken publicly against terrorists: A) The builders of the community center in question have, and B) Americans have done some pretty awful things in the Middle East, many of which are still being debated here. Would you make a public statement to say you don't support the American armed forces? What if you knew you would be judged by many friends, lose your job, and possibly even be targeted by the party van (hypothetically of course, no one gets put on the FBI watchlist for expressing an opinion)?

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Definitely talk to her for a bit first. If you feel the need to tell her your name then you don't know her very well, and obviously she doesn't know you at all. You need to demonstrate some sort of value to her before making a move, do this by being confident and getting to know her a bit. The "just wanted to know if you'd like to go out some time" is no good either. That looks unconfident to me. A better way would be Iamdan's "Hey, you're cool, we should hang out some time". Don't go directly for a date, ask her to go do something fun with a group of your friends.

Zierro: Surprisingly, my point had nothing to do with lizard men. I was pointing out that you are making a large assumption based on distorted evidence which you have not even shared. Even if you have posted this video of a bunch of Muslims celebrating, how do you know they are celebrating 9/11? How do you know it's a real video with real Muslims? How do you know those opinions haven't changed? These questions are irrelevent when faced with the fact that one video of some happy Arabs does not prove anything about the entire religion. I may be wrong in assuming American Muslims don't secretly sympathize with terrorists, but you are more wrong in taking one questionable video as proof of the ideology of an entire people. Nope. Even the troublemakers in this thread have agreed that legally it should be allowed. It's hard to argue with the Constitution. Edit: Stop saying radical. Terrorists are reactionary. A radical is an extreme liberal, a reactionary is an extreme conservative.

Literature
I read it, and liked it. It does get a little wordy at times, but this is 19th Century literature. It was not what I expected and didn't develop some themes which I thought would've been great to develop, but it was definitely a good read. Just don't read it before bed, you'll fall asleep :P.

Your first kiss.
*Pats back* Girls have cooties anyways. This is actually not that uncommon. Plenty of people at that age haven't had a girlfriend. I think I read somewhere that about half of the people graduating high school are still virgins.

Hay guise i herd that all of our presidents except Obama and Bill Clinton (cause there balck) were secretly lisard men from mars. SO this is why i think we should never elect white presidents nemor. u see, the aliens want to invade our contry and if we elect president that are lisard we are liek giveing them a trophy. So anyways this random thing i herd is y i make xenophobic opinions, but u cant prove this wrong cause u hav no pics, k? Cause i no its completely ridiculous this thing i am saying but i am just trying to repersent all the sides of the argueement. While we're assuming that American Muslims living in New York City will suddenly become terrorists and snicker about how they got us gullible liberals to follow our own laws, I think we should consider the important possibility that these individuals may practice voodoo in the prayer center. I mean, the last thing we need is a bunch of bad mojo floating around New York City. Think what that would do for the city's image! Appalling.

Today...
It has literally been raining nonstop for four days where I live. It's supposed to stop today or tomorrow. It's actually making me feel pretty down right now. More down than usual. On a related note, here comes the sun (doodoodoodooo). The last time it rained for three-four days straight here, it ended up turning into massive flood conditions that basically put half a town underwater. I live next to a big area of wetlands and a river. During the spring, it sometimes rains for weeks on end, and then I'll be living on waterfront property. It wasn't quite so fun this year when the lazy [wagon] who built the new portion of my house forgot to finish the drains, so the entire basement flooded. But yea, a flood after three days is silly. You must live on rock or something.

Mosque at Ground Zero
If all you know about Islam is that it's the religion that extremist terrorist groups follow, then you don't know what Islam is. It's like saying we shouldn't allow falafel carts near Ground Zero because falafel is a food that the extremists who caused the 9/11 attacks and many other extremists groups would eat. Its not all I know about Islam. Do you prefer: "Islam is a religion that does not have many woman's rights."? Christianity is a religion that does not have many woman's rights. Troacctid's point is that just because a few Muslims believe in jihadist tactics and conservative laws doesn't mean all Muslims should be judged. Imagine if I said you speak English, so therefore you should be blamed for all of the rapes committed in the past year by English speakers.

Yep. When the issue first came up months ago, everyone agreed with it. Fox News even did an interview where they all agreed that this was a great idea. The blind dislike towards Muslims that is exposed in this situation is repulsive. It's shameful that this should even be such a big issue. As some random guy who I forget the name of said, "Osama bin Laden's next video script just wrote itself". For Mr. Skully, who claims it's disrespectful to build a community center with a Muslim prayer site two blocks from the original site of the attacks, you're falling for the mass propaganda being spewed by the American right wing. Islam did not attack the towers, terrorism did. The Muslims involved in the community center have no connection to terrorists. If anything is disrespectful to the memories of those lost, it's the strip club that's right next door.
