Grinding lvls is what makes final fantasy. I liked the materia system. Cool characters, interesting storyline. Good difficulty.

Just to comment on some games: Warioware is pretty good, keeps you occupied for several stages. Amusing toys, some minigames. Sonic Rush is a fairly cheap game. Can keep you occupied for a while. Not really a wower. But it's good for any sonic fan. Super mario 64- I didn't play the original. But I still dislike the slow paceness of it. The minigames are fun. But they are also in the new super mario bros. Super mario bros- this game looks really good on a ds lite. It is extremely fun as well. Takes up a good amount of time. Minigames somewhat exactly like the minigames in supermario64.
