  1. Dagganoths under the lighthouse are great. You can kill them yourself pretty fast (take a cannon for more/faster/more expensive kills) but there's always people there that just power through them (with that same cannon) and don;t pick up the drops. Especially toadflax seeds are not popular among those people. Every time I go there, I get 5+ seeds from OTHER people.... Also, aberrant spectres drop high level herb seeds, but mainly the herbs as well. Ogres drop herb seeds, but I'm not sure wether it's mainly toadflax+.
  2. gold ores till you can smith mith bolts, with which can allmost break even.
  3. If remember correctly, you don't need a gree gree. just us ethe teleport to Ape atoll. You'll be wanting to maximise your strength bonus, so Dharocks, fury, dragon boots, barrows gloves. Super strength pots and super attack pots help you even more. I'm not sure wether you have to take antipoison for that little spider.... Just let your hp drop to 10 or something (not sure about gorilla's max hit) and pray melee. The alter there should suffice all your needs. Instead of antipoison, you can take the "brain robbery" prayer book, that cures poison for a few prayer points. Since there's an alter 2 squares away, I think it's the better option.
  4. Use the Canifis slayer master (Machzna) for the first 5 tasks. After that, you get points for every consecutive task. This is reset after burthorping, but you keep points earned. For fast points, use Machzna 9 times (1 point per task), then Duradel on the 10th task as you get bonus points (5x the normal 15 points) for every 10th task (task #10, 20 etc). I heard you also get an even bigger bonus fot the 50th task in a row, but I'm only on the 37th now so I can't confirm that yet. Needless to say, for pure slayer xp it is not the fastest way....
  5. consult your quest log, it may give a hint. Retrace your steps, read the quest guide thouroughly. Logging out and back in (possibly switch worlds) may solve the problem.
  6. If there is one, it will be quite slow xp as I would bet that it respawns really slowly. I'm not aware of one...
  7. I'm keeping points after I get the hat, I want to be able to craft the rings, arrows and what not. I'm the "unlocking" kind of guy. I want to be able to do anything I want, only to find out later that I'll never do it anyway... But the possiblility is a goal on its own.
  8. Gather everything yourself is cheapest. Water filled vials: Shilo village store is close to bank, use BoB for even faster gathering and Karamja gloves for store "discount". Of course, making your own molten glass -> vials -> fill in Lumbridge basement is cheaper but even slower. Herbs: Farm, slay or chaos druis/aberrant spectres. MTK is optional, but it costs more. Seconds: Ash -> serum 207: goes extremely well on firemaking hotspots Snape grass -> hobgoblin peninsula, kill hobbies while waiting for respawn to get some limpwurt roots as well Limps: farm, or hobgoblins cockatrice Eyes of newt: buy in port sarim, glory to draynor to bank. When gathering seconds, use a BoB for efficiency. The more you do yourself, the cheaper it gets and the longer it takes....
  9. Cockatrices drop them quite often, and they are really easy. They also drop the eggs, which cn be sold on GE for quite a bit as well. You can make quick trips banking in Edgeville, and using th fairy rings (forgot the code, it's in the book)
  10. You might as well make air battle staves if you make it THAT ^^^^^far.... As long as you gather 1 ingredient yourself (i.e. logs, gold bars, etc) you are MAKING money most of the time. If you are "lazy" and buy finished products, it's gonna cost you.
  11. Neitiznot is great for spinning, but it i a pain to get there. There should be a teleport for that.... Anyway. picking flax -> Lleyta spinning -> Neitiznot or Lumbridge if unavailable.
  12. The Ardougne nature chest (1 stair up at eastern sit of Ardougne quare) is where I did quite a lot of alching. It has 2 chests, one with the nature rune + 3 gp or so, and the other giving 30gp or so. I found that you can thieve every 3 alchs from the chest, and every 10 alchs or to from the gp-only chest. I guess you can take a macaw with you for extra profit, although I don't know wether it works because it is "indoors". Also, an accumilator could give you some steel arrows, but it'll be few of them, since you'll be stationary most of the time. When gathering whiteberries in the elven lands, I took 40 or so alchs every run, since you can alch and run ate the same time. You can alch in between spawns, and by the time you have an inventory full, you have the 2 extra spaces available for whiteberries. Teleport to Lleyta bank, rinse, repeat.
  13. Slay. Simply because I wouldn't be able to camp out somewhere because I like variation.
  14. It works fine to me. But then again, you're probably right, for mass amounts. But I use it after a month or so, making glass, crafting the astrals, making the glass into orbs, make airt battle staves and alch those. It's a nice cycle, but I can imagine that for getting some levels fast, it is not enough.
  15. Lunar spells are a good method as well. Stock up on sand and seaweed first. get aload of sand each day after "hand in the sand" quest. get 80 seaweed a day for 160gp total each day at catherby dock, talk to Arhein.
  16. battle staves. It may take some time, but you can actually profit making them!
  17. Thing is, I use it to get seeds for free! 10 maples + 5 coal = practically free seeds -> free 85 farming FTW!
  18. I don't know, but you might consider getting them from normal respawn points, since that is a bazillion times faster... Best one is in the elven lands, BTW.
  19. As I like questing a lot, I did that first. Do the "unlock" quests for areas, like "priest in peril" (morytania), fremmenik trials (fremmenik province), fishing contest etc. Also do the summoning and herblore unliocking quests, so you have access to all skills. The requirements for these quests usually give you something to train for. They also help to get you familiar with all the different areas in Gielnor. As mentioned before, stay away from money eating skills as construction because....well...they eat money! :P Try minigames as castle wars, Barbarian assault etc etc for some fun and an opportunity to make some new friends. If you decide to train combat, do so in conjuction with slayer, it's xp in 2 skills at once!
  20. I do. I die of boredom after 2 laps on ANY agility course. Hardest: Agility Slayer easiest Cooking Fletching
  21. Sadly, you have to get to the mage again. Sadly, this is a pain. Sadly, I had to do it as well.
  22. Fastest = mage longs. But you will lose a lot more the 1-2 million for 99! So I guess yew longs are still the way to go.
  23. I think he means ALL your combat stats, not just your combat level. I don't think it is wise for a level 80 to go DKing...
  24. Remember to do the Back to my roots quest, and do the Jade vine thingy every day. Day1 = farming xp, day 2 = slayer xp. Pretty nice for 5 mins of work! And the costs are 0!
  25. You have to get the mushroom again, the "hard, obnoxious and time-consuming" way.
